“Food.” Wolf smiles and sits. The table is
small, and I’m shocked we all have room given their size and mine.
I dish everyone up and Hawk walks out dressed now, ready for work.
He stops midway to the coffeemaker and kisses my forehead. I smile.
This is Hawk. He doesn’t need flowery words. If I want hearts and
flowers, I have Wolf; if I want to be spanked and told what a dirty
girl I am, I have Hawk. I’m living every woman’s dream. But even as
I think that, I’m nervous that when it’s all said and done I’m
gonna wake up and be all alone again. Guess time will tell.

Food gone, dishes done and loaded, we are in
Wolf’s truck. Somehow my large ass can fit between both Hawk and
Wolf, although it’s not very comfortable. Not because of the room,
but because even the slightest touch sends my body into shivers.
Wolf has his arm around the back of me, and Hawk has a possessive
hand on my leg as I bounce it up and down. However, every time I
start to shake it, his hand moves higher. Bastard. I stop shaking
it. Pulling into the spot, I see another truck, must be Gunner and
Snakes. I really don’t want to see them again. But I have to. Maybe
it was me that put them in a bad mood. Anyway, I jump out of the
truck, well Hawk lifts me before walking to the door and unlocking
it. Wolf comes around and holds my hand.

“Um, not at work, remember,” I say in a
whisper.

“Fuck that. I understand what Hawk is saying,
but you’re not like Bobby. She was, well, she was clingy. You do
know how to separate work and play. So don’t worry.” Pulling me, I
follow without another thought.

“Yo, took ya long enough. Can you have the
chick make some coffee? Snake did something to the machine and now
it’s only squirting water stuff.” I growl inwardly. Its not that
damn hard, or these idiots want to just piss me off.

“On it.” I let go of Wolf’s hand as he makes
his way to the back office, and clean up the mess they made. And
they did. Old coffee grounds are sitting on the side of the table
and not in the trash next to it. Various spills and paper litter my
once clean area. “Seriously, would it kill you to throw things
away?” I point at the wrappers from the granola bars laying on the
ground.

“What? That’s why you’re here,” Gunner
says.

“No it’s not. I do this to be nice. I take
care of all the paperwork and make your life easier. Not make your
coffee and clean up your messes. You want all that, go to your
momma’s house.”

“You better watch who you’re talking to,
little girl?” Gunner growls at me. Really.

“Seriously. What are you gonna do, huh?”

“Well, if you were mine I would paddle your
ass nice and red.” I can’t help but gasp at his words. “Oh yeah, a
little girl like you can take me.”

“Sorry, I can’t do that. I’m seeing someone.
But even if I wasn’t it gives you no right to talk to me that
way.”

“Really, then how about Snake and I talk
about how sweet your mouth would look wrapped around my—”

“Gunner.” I stand frozen in place as Wolf and
Hawk stalk in the front area.

“What? Come on, she is one hot piece of ass,
you have to admit. I promise I won’t break this one.”

“Seriously, break me. You can’t handle me
even if you had the chance.”

“If I had the chance. Last time I checked you
have no one, unless you count the dip shit after you.”

“She’s taken,” Wolf growls. Shit, I normally
see the sweet side of him, but this protective alpha male is
hot.

“Really, Wolf, you fuckin’ her? Damn didn’t
see that one coming. Hawk, you know about this shit?” I watch as
Hawk looks at me and back to him. I can tell he is torn so I try to
save the day.

“Look, Gunner, we’re all professional here,
let’s cut the crap about who is sleeping with who. It doesn’t
matter. Now I’m going to get more cups in the back, and you can
clean your mess up while I’m gone.” I spin on my heel, trying to
look calm as can be, but I am anything but. Confronting a man twice
my size, and that’s something, is almost suicidal. I spot the cups
in the small closet in the guy’s office. Reaching up, I feel hands
come to my side, gliding their way up to my breasts and
squeeze.

“My cock is so fucking hard right now, baby.
Watching you being dominant in front of Gunner, and handling
everything, when I know how submissive you normally are.” I close
my eyes, trying to slow my breathing as he licks the side of my
neck.

“What do you say, baby, wanna play.” I can
feel his cock press into my back through my jeans. Damn if I don’t
want to, but I can’t.

“Hawk, I can’t, and you know it. We are at
work, and I have things to do. Please, don’t make this hard.” Just
as the cups fall into my hands, I am spun and his lips claim mine,
stealing my breath. Wrapping my arms around him, I melt into him.
But as the sound of voices get louder, I break apart. “Hawk, we
can’t.” I bend over and grab the cups and slide past him, watching
him grin like a fool as I leave, and now I’m really horny.

“Hey,
chéri,
find them okay?” Wolf
takes the cups and sets them out. Large hands cup my face, bringing
my eyes up to his. A sweet tender kiss is planted on my lips. Shit,
now what? I respond, but do my best to keep my damn body in check
this time. Again, it’s me pulling apart.

“Sorry, we have work to do,” I say, then I
sit down and look at Gunner, who I don’t know is either smirking or
scowling. Snake, well the flirt has a cheesy grin on his face. Damn
it.

“Work, gentleman. Your next assignment is in
your emails.” I point them to their office.

“Emails?”

“Yes, no more paperwork. But you would have
noticed that if you went to your office, which by the way, you’re
welcome. That place smelled. Everything is digital, but you can
print out what you need as you need them. Saves time all
around.

“Dude, I love her already.” Snake looks at
Wolf. I laugh and start my day.

Lunch comes later, and I surprise everyone
and order from the diner down the street. Burgers all around with
chocolate milk shakes.

“Have I said how much I love this woman?
Zoey, marry me,” Snake says again as we all sat around eating.

“Nah, not my type.” I laugh.

“Really, Wolf’s your type huh?”

“Maybe.” I shrug.

“Wait, don’t Wolf and Hawk share, like
everything.” I say nothing. I know Hawk’s worry, so I let it
go.

“No seriously, don’t you guys like to double
a woman.” Okay I had to grind my teeth at Gunner’s comment. I do my
best to eat, ignoring them all.

“Well, Wolf, if you need another, I’m here,”
chuckles Snake.

“Just leave it, Snake,” Hawk snaps.

“Come on, boss, she doesn’t mind, do you,
Zoey.” Eyes need to stay down; yes, my eyes need to stay down.

“Enough,” Hawk snaps.

“Shit, boss, sorry. Just trying to have some
fun with Wolf’s girl,” states Snake.

“She’s not Wolf’s girl, or some chick off the
street either.”

“And why is that, Hawk? Huh, why do you
care?” Gunner eggs him.

“I care, because she is mine, damn it. She is
mine and Wolf’s and if you so much as fucking touch her or make her
upset I will gut you dumb fucks and feed you to the gators.” I
swear you can hear a pin drop from the silence in the room.

“About fucking time you admit it, man. So now
that we are all one big happy family, y’all want to come over for
dinner?” chuckled Gunner.

Chapter Seventeen

Zoey

After we eat, I walk into the office with
Wolf. I honestly don’t know what to do. I did my best to keep
everything professional, but Hawk broke. At least it was him and
not me this time. But we have real business to do.

“Okay, so here is what we have. The levee is
here, but you said he likes to go out, has he mentioned any places
in particular?” Wolf points to a map on the desk. The big board was
flipped so I’m not staring at myself this time. Looking at Bostwick
on the map, I point to some areas he talked about, and show how if
you follow it down, he could go to New Orleans a different route.
Andrew knew the area pretty well, but it seems so does Hawk and
Wolf.

“We go looking for him there then. Right now
we have a meeting with Eddy.” Oh that’s right, Eddy is the guy who
lives in Bostwick right now.

“Okay, I guess I will see you guys later
tonight?” I say.

“Nope, you’re coming with us. We are gonna
meet him down in New Orleans, which is about hour and a half away.
Which means we are gonna stay in a hotel. We were gonna meet him at
a small bar between the two towns, but too many questions right
now, and we don’t want to attract any more attention. So we have to
look like we are just going out to have some fun on the town, we
are gonna play during Mardi Gras.” Wolf winks at me. Okay so maybe
this plan sounds like fun. I have been there before, but with
people I thought I would have fun with; well, it’s easy to see how
that turned out.

“Sure. Can we go home and pack first?” I
ask.

Wolf smiles at me before responding, “Yeah,
we are leaving in about twenty minutes. Hawk is picking something
up so he will meet us at home.”

“Okay, sounds good. I will make sure Gunner
and Snake have their assignments first. I hate leaving loose ends,
especially knowing we are going away for a night.” But a bit of
excitement bubbles in me. I’m going away with two hot men, who,
oddly enough, want me.

“Hey there, gorgeous, decide to leave the
bosses and come play with some real men?” Snake asks while he sits
behind his newly cleaned desk. Their office is set up similar to
Wolf and Hawk’s, but not as large. However, they did have various
pictures hung on the walls, but with them in it and women, lots and
lots of women. That would explain the weird box of beads in the
corner.

“Nah, I’m pretty happy with what I have. But
I tell ya both what, if I ever do leave them, or more likely they
leave me, I’ll look ya up. How’s that sound?”

“For you, suga, anything.” I giggle and fill
them in on their assignments. Somehow we start talking about
different cases they have worked on when Wolf enters.

“Time to rock and roll,
chéri
.” God, I
love it when he calls me that.

“Okay, coming.” But as the words leave my
mouth, I hear Gunner and Snake laughing.

“You both are bad, you know that? Anyway, you
have their cell numbers. See ya
sometime tomorrow.” I wave goodbye and then out the door. We make
it home and I see Hawk has beat us, though I don’t know how he got
around since we have the truck.

“We leave in twenty. I want to beat traffic,”
I hear Hawk say as he starts loading his laptop into his bag. I nod
and go into the back bedroom with Wolf. I take my bag of clothes,
dump the whole thing onto the bed, I’ll sort them out later, and
pick just what I want for tonight and tomorrow. I’m ready in twenty
minutes, and I even make sure to grab my Kindle charger. I know the
men aren’t keen on reading, but I sure as hell am.

“Okay I’m good to go.” Hawk grabs my bag and
takes it into the truck, locking the apartment behind us.

“Just so you know, I booked us a single room.
With a king size bed.” When Hawk speaks about things like this, it
sounds like a business deal. While if Wolf had said it, he would
have made it seem romantic. I am noticing they are ying and
yang.

“That’s fine, I’m sure they have pull out
couches and the carpeted floor.” Okay, so I know I am playing with
fire, but he makes it to easy sometimes.

“Baby, be good, because I have a present for
you when we get to the hotel.” He gives my leg a gentle squeeze in
warning. I do my best to sit still, but too many things are running
through my head. I would pull out my Kindle to read, but seeing as
I am once again in the middle of the sexy sandwich, I’m not taking
that chance to have them see. Closing my eyes, I lean toward Hawk
and smell his clean scent, enjoying the comfort, he brings me.

Hawk

Zoey is sleeping on my shoulder and it’s an
odd feeling. Not one I’m used to. Hell, I just told Snake and
Gunner I’m sleeping with her, and that Wolf and I started a ménage
relationship with her. I have staked my claim. There is no going
back to normal now. She is what I want. In the few short days, I
have seen her grow and stand on her own two feet. I look down at
the sleeping beauty and smile. Her hair is coving her face, and I
tenderly move it away. Last night was hard on her, hell, it was
hard on all of us. Not really knowing what to do. But after Wolf
hit me a few time and explained how she saw it, well that’s was
because Shay had told Wolf, I understood more. But I needed her to
tell me. I want this relationship to work, but it needs to have
trust.

“So did you get everything we need?” Wolf
asks me.

“Yup, got a few different sizes, and some
other things. Tonight should be fun, for all of us.”
