“Does it feel good?” He asked as he continued to stroke deep and slow. Avery felt his legs start to shake as he nodded drunkenly and Mason smiled. “It’s about to get so much better.” He promised. Avery shook his head. Whether it was to argue that it couldn’t get better or to tell Mason he couldn’t handle better, he wasn’t sure but everything in him stopped when he felt Mason press deep and curl his fingers. They pressed firmly against something within Avery that apparently was connected to the part of Avery’s brain containing fireworks and psychedelic waterfalls and some sort of orgasm button in the base of his cock. He gasped desperately as Mason hooked his fingers around whatever it was and continued to rub. Avery felt his cock get harder than it had ever been in his life and it started to rise into the air as colors exploded and his entire body started to tremble.

Mother of God!”
Avery screamed as he felt heat and pressure like he’d never experienced surge up his cock. A heavy, pulsing pleasure rolled through Avery’s groin as come started to pour from the head of his cock. It wasn’t the usual stream that shot from the tip like a bright, sudden burst but a slow, thick, steady cascade that gushed and spilled down his length. And it wasn’t stopping. It just kept coming as Mason continued to massage deep inside of Avery’s ass. “Holy… fuck.” Avery panted as he watched in awe. Mason nodded in agreement but his eyes were locked on Avery’s cock.

“Christ, that’s the hottest thing I’ve ever seen.” He whispered.

Finally, the seemingly endless river of come that had secretly existed within Avery stopped flowing and Mason slowly withdrew his fingers from Avery. Completely devastated, Avery sunk into the bed and stared unseeing at the ceiling as his body vibrated. He had never felt so weak, there was no way he was moving anything, any time soon. He hissed and his body jumped when he felt Mason’s tongue slide across his over sensitized skin. Mason hummed in delight as he lapped at Avery’s cock and stomach.

“I think I’m going to die now.” Avery mumbled at the ceiling. Mason crashed onto the bed next to Avery.

“You’re not going to die.” He said as he propped his head up with his hand. Avery blinked slowly as he waited for his vision to clear.

“I think I have to. How do you live after something like that?” He asked. Mason laughed as his hand fell on Avery’s chest and started tracing the edges and hollows of his bones and muscles.

“But there’s more and you’d miss all of it.” Mason said softly. Avery’s eyes grew large.
More?

“So, will it be like that when it’s your cock instead of your fingers?” Avery could feel heat flooding his face but he didn't care, he felt like he’d been given the world’s most exciting toy.

“I would imagine it will be better, it is for me.” Mason said.

“Oh, Jesus.” Avery’s voice broke and he swallowed nervously. “That might kill me.” He heard Mason make a shushing sound.

“It will not, I promise. It’ll be better because I’ll be with you. I’ll be able to feel you come while I’m inside of you and I won’t be able to stop myself from coming.” Mason couldn’t have been aware of the impact of his words. Heat burst within Avery and that aching need pulsed inside of his ass as his erection started to stir.

“Shit.” Avery whispered in disbelief. Mason leaned down and pressed his lips to Avery’s shoulder.

“Unless you don’t enjoy it. Some men don’t.” He murmured. Avery narrowed his eyes as he considered everything he had experienced with Mason so far.

“I think I’ll enjoy it.” He was finally able to move his arm and he slid his hand into Mason’s hair. “I didn’t think I’d end up being a bottom.” He said. Mason reached down and swatted Avery’s thigh.

“I told you, you don’t have to worry about being either. But it’s ok to be both, if you are. I don’t want us to have defined roles when it comes to sex. I just want us to do what feels right.” Mason traced the muscle of Avery’s thigh up along the side of his ass and Avery growled as he rolled, pinning Mason.

“Fine. Now, teach me how to turn your body inside out and make your brain melt.” Avery commanded as he bit the side of Mason’s neck. “I want to see if I can make you scream more than I did.”

Chapter 9

Avery was a very fast learner. Mason screamed until he was hoarse. As soon as he was able, he pulled Avery from the bed and pushed him into the bathroom. His shower only had one large rain shower head but he had a large claw foot tub.

“How about a long bath?” Mason asked and was surprised when Avery shook his head firmly.

“No. No baths.” He said as he edged toward the shower. Mason’s head pulled back in confusion.

“Come on, it’ll be relaxing. I’ll put on some Etta James, light candles, grab a bottle of wine, bubbles…” He splayed his hand against Avery’s chest and let it slide down slowly but Avery’s eyes were wide and he shook his head.

“No, I can’t. Baths are like body soup.” He said and Mason’s brows pulled together in confusion.

“Body soup?” He raised a brow and Avery nodded. “I promise, the tub’s clean. I have a woman in here twice a week.” Mason said defensively. Avery kept shaking his head and his lips pulled tight.

“It’s not the tub. You want to sit in hot water while everything that’s on our bodies just mixes and sticks on us.” He explained. Mason’s mouth fell open as he tried to understand.

“You’re bothered about that after what you just did to me? You licked the sweat off of my body!” Mason was seriously struggling. Avery pointed at the shower.

“There, we wash and it goes down the drain. We’re clean.” His arm swung to the tub. “There, we sit in our sweat and God knows what else. When we get out, we’re still covered in everything we started with. When I lick the sweat off your body in bed, it’s fresh and it’s clean. When you get out of that tub, it’s mixed with feet and ass and lubricant and soap and it all just dries on you.” He was starting to get anxious. Mason’s hand scrubbed over his mouth and he clenched his teeth to keep from laughing.

“Jesus, you’ve really put a lot of thought into this.” Mason whispered as he turned and stared at the tub. He smiled and turned back to Avery. “What if we take a long bath and then a quick shower?” He offered. Avery rubbed his chin as he stared at the tub and then looked at the shower. He nodded faintly.

“Fine. But I better not get any bath water in my mouth.” He said and Mason rolled his eyes as he pressed a quick kiss to Avery’s lips.

“Deal. Wait here.” Mason said before he dashed out of the bathroom.

Mason programmed the music, grabbed a bottle of Riesling, glasses and matches. He set the wine and glasses on the teak bench by the tub and quickly lit the candles scattered around the bathroom. He turned the water on, making sure it was just the right temperature (almost too hot) and added a generous amount of citrine scented bath soak. He made sure he didn’t fill the tub too much, enjoying the fact that he was accounting for the displacement of water from two bodies in his tub. Mason turned off the water and found Avery eyeing the scene warily. Mason raised his hand and gestured for Avery to come closer. Avery looked like he was about to refuse. Mason pointed to the floor in front of him and Avery sighed in defeat as he trudged forward.

“You’ll love this.” Mason said as he leaned forward and kissed Avery. He stepped into the tub and eased himself into the hot, fragrant water and heaps of bubbles. Mason hadn’t really noticed the oversized tub when he bought the apartment, now he was sure he’d never get another place without one. “Sit.” He commanded as he pointed at the other end of the tub. Avery whimpered as he stepped in. “Don’t be a baby.” Mason teased as he watched Avery lower himself. “Scoot forward a bit.” Mason said once Avery was seated. Mason slid toward Avery and positioned Avery’s legs over his. He guided Avery closer until they were almost chest to chest then poured the wine and handed Avery a glass. “Well?” Mason asked as he watched Avery drink. Avery raised a bubble covered hand to his face and sniffed.

“It smells nice.” He admitted.

Avery brushed his hand against Mason’s nose, depositing a dollop of bubbles. Mason smiled and blew them off. Mason twined their fingers and leaned forward and kissed him. They kissed, drank wine, whispered words against each other’s lips and laughed until Mason slid back and turned his body.

“Scoot back.” Mason said as he poured more wine. Avery moved back and reclined. Mason slid closer and lowered his back until he rested against Avery’s chest. He interlocked his hand with Avery’s and draped it over his chest as he reached for his wine.

“This is nice.” Avery sighed as he raised his glass to his lips. Mason took a sip of his wine.

“Mmmhmm.” He hummed as he swallowed. “I told you.” Mason said drowsily.

They remained until the water started to get cool, murmuring and sighing as they caressed each other soothingly. Mason turned over and slid his body against Avery’s. He dipped his lips below the water and bit Avery’s nipple then let his tongue slide up Avery’s chest and neck toward his mouth. Mason nibbled Avery’s chin and then went in for a kiss. Avery swung his head away and Mason pulled his head back in confusion.

“Nope. You’re not kissing me.” He shook his head. Mason frowned.

“Why?” His brows rose as he waited.

“No bathwater in my mouth.” Avery repeated and Mason shook his head in disbelief.

“You can’t be serious.” He said. Avery nodded.

“Very.” He drained his wine glass. Mason narrowed his eyes as he settled onto his knees. He grabbed his wine and took a big gulp and swished it vigorously then swallowed.

“There. Wine’s stronger than mouthwash. Better?” He looked at Avery expectantly. Avery took a moment to consider before he shrugged.

“I’m not sure if the science supports it but I’ll let it go.” He said as he leaned forward.

“Thanks.” Mason said sarcastically as he stood up and got out of the tub. Avery stared up at him.

“Come on, don’t pout.” He teased as he rose. “Kiss me.” He demanded as he reached for Mason.

“You had your chance.” He said as he stepped away and reached into the shower and turned the water on.

Avery grabbed him and shoved him into the shower, under the water before it had a chance to heat up. Mason gasped in shock and Avery’s mouth covered his. Mason pushed his hands into Avery’s hair as their lips and tongues slid and swirled together urgently. Avery’s hands skated down Mason’s back and closed around his ass as Avery rocked his hips. Mason felt their cocks rubbing together and lust roared though him. He pushed Avery back against the tile and grabbed a bottle of body wash. Mason held Avery’s erection and poured a generous amount of the wash on it causing Avery to jump. Mason pressed his lips to Avery’s and laughed softly as he spread it over Avery’s rigid length. A ragged breath spilled from Avery’s throat as he let his head fall back against the shower wall.

“Mason.”Avery breathed. “Everything you do… it’s so good.” His voice was thin and light like steam and it curled through Mason and left heat in its wake. Mason turned and pressed his back to Avery’s chest as he guided Avery’s cock between his thighs. Avery’s hand closed around Mason’s hip and stilled him. “I thought…?” Mason’s lids were heavy as he looked over his shoulder and found Avery’s eyes. Mason leaned back against Avery’s chest and made a shushing sound against Avery’s cheek.

“Trust me?” He whispered. Avery nodded and Mason smiled. “Good. Relax.”

Mason pulled Avery’s erection up into the apex of his thighs then pressed them together as his ass rested against Avery’s hips. Mason reached under his sack and felt the head of Avery’s cock beneath it and a long groan rolled from Avery’s throat. Mason rocked his hips forward, sliding over Avery’s cock and shivered as the shaft rubbed along his perineum. He pushed back and Avery’s hands closed on Mason’s hips, pulling him close as Avery thrust forward. Mason nodded as he reached around and grabbed Avery’s ass. Mason fell forward, pulling Avery with him so he could lean against the glass wall in front of him. Avery adjusted and leaned over Mason, holding onto his hips as he thrust smoothly between Mason’s thighs.

Mason lost his breath when Avery’s hand slid and wrapped around his cock. Avery started stroking firmly and Mason let his head fall against the glass as he stared at Avery’s hand twisting and gliding over his straining erection. Avery thrust faster and his hand squeezed tighter as he tugged Mason’s length. Everything within Mason vibrated with warm pleasure as he felt pressure coiling within his groin. He moaned Avery’s name and hissed when Avery’s teeth dug into his shoulder. Avery’s arm curled around Mason, pulling him tight against his body and Mason closed his eyes as he reveled in the joy of feeling Avery’s heart pounding against his back. Avery’s hips were rocking urgently in time with the hand around Mason’s cock. Avery’s other hand found Mason’s nipple and it was if he’d found the COME button on Mason’s body when he pinched it. Mason arched against Avery as his balls became tight as pressure and heat surged through his shaft and his nerves exploded, sending pleasure pulsing through him. He screamed as come burst from the head of his cock and his fingertips squeaked against the glass as he tried to hang on. Avery’s shouts echoed in his ears as molten, wet heat burst between Mason’s thighs, coating his sack and sending another tremor of pleasure rolling through Mason’s body.

They were still for several moments, dissolving into each other as hot water beat down on them. Avery collapsed back against the tile, pulling Mason with him. Mason let his head fall back onto Avery’s shoulder as their fingers tangled. Avery rested his head in the corner of Mason’s neck and they stayed until the water started to cool. They bathed each other with heavy, weak limbs and stumbled out of the shower to dry off. Avery fell onto the bed with a deep, contented sigh and Mason collapsed next to him. Mason smiled drowsily as Avery’s hand closed around his just before sleep pulled them under.

When Mason was able to make his eyes open he turned and frowned at the clock on the nightstand. It was almost 4:00 p.m.. He looked over at Avery and a goofy smile spread across his face as he took in the relaxed, loose curve of Avery’s lips as he slept. Mason couldn’t help but brush his lips against them. Avery groaned softly as his hand slid into Mason’s hair. Mason sucked Avery’s lower lip gently.

“We slept for almost three hours.” He whispered and Avery smiled. “Want to go get something to eat? We missed lunch.” Mason said as he sat up. Avery shook his head before he rolled over and burrowed into the bedding.

“I’m not leaving this bed.” His words were determined but muffled. “Order something and get back in here.” He commanded from beneath the quilt.
Brilliant,
Mason decided as he stood and stretched. His body still didn’t feel quite solid and he smiled as he stumbled through the hallway and into the living room. “Bring your book.” Avery demanded and Mason chuckled as he retrieved it and his phone from the coffee table.

“How about Thai?” Mason asked as he flopped onto his back, on the bed. He rested his head on Avery’s back as he searched on his phone.

“Bambo Palace. Tom Ka Gai and green curry with shrimp.” Avery rumbled.

Mason called in the order then pulled on a pair of track pants and a t-shirt. He grabbed two bottles of water from the fridge and set the music on shuffle.

“Sit up, lazy ass.” Mason said as he walked into the bedroom. Avery threw the quilt back and scowled at Mason just before he caught a water bottle. Mason set his on the nightstand as he fell on the bed.

“Mind if I read?” Avery held up Mason’s book. Mason shook his head as Avery adjusted the pillows behind his back and reclined.

“Knock yourself out. I’ve got something I can work on.” He said as he went back into the living room and grabbed his messenger bag. “Do you need anything else?” Mason asked as he walked back into the bedroom and set his bag on the bed. Avery shook his head absently as he read.

“Just you and the food.” He murmured as he turned a page and tucked his arm behind his head. A giddy thrill shivered through Mason and he was just about to crawl across the bed to kiss Avery when the buzzer rang.

Mason quickly dealt with the delivery guy and set all of their food on a tray with spoons, chopsticks and plenty of napkins. He hummed softly to
West End Blues
as he carried everything into the bedroom. Avery sat up without taking his eyes off the book as Mason set the tray in the middle of the bed and carefully settled next to Avery. Mason couldn’t keep his lips straight as he watched Avery sitting cross-legged in the middle of his bed, eating soup as he read his book. Mason never imagined a moment so perfect could be possible. Mason put his work aside for later as he enjoyed his pad thai and watched Avery eat and read. Once they were done eating and Mason had everything cleaned up, he fell back into the bed next to Avery. He put on his reading glasses and settled against the pillows with a manuscript and a pen. Avery turned and raised Mason’s arm so he could lean against the side of Mason’s chest. Mason hugged Avery to him and sighed contentedly. Avery’s head turned and he looked at the manuscript.

“Are you editing? I didn’t think you did that anymore.” He said as he looked over at Mason. Mason nodded.

“I usually don’t but this is a personal project. My best friend, Nancy wrote this. She started it when we were roommates in college and I’ve been prodding her along for years. I’m just going through it one last time. She doesn’t know it yet, but she’s getting a sweet offer from Winston Sheffield.” Mason’s pulse picked up as he recalled the surprise party he and Wilson, Nancy’s fiancé had planned. “Hey, there’s going to be a party in two weeks. We’re surprising Nancy with the news about the book on her birthday. Would you like to go with me?” Mason forced his chest to rise and fall normally as he waited. Avery shrugged and nodded.

“Sure. I’d love to meet your friends.” Avery said as he tilted his head back and kissed Mason before turning his attention back to the book.

Mason sighed again as he pulled Avery close.
