Her eyes fixated on his sculpted chest. She couldn’t wait to explore with her hands, her lips and of course her tongue. She closed her eyes for the briefest of moments and pictured her teeth nipping at his nipple. When her eyes fluttered open she watched him sliding the zipper of his slacks down. She bit her lip in anticipation, very much appreciating the unveiling of the body she missed.

Her eyes followed as his fingertips captured the waistband of his boxers as well as his pants and brought them down his legs in one fluid motion, when they were pooled around his ankles he kicked off his shoes and stepped out of them. Next he ripped off his socks before he stood before her gloriously naked with a primal look in his eyes. She licked her lips and started to lift the hem of her tank top up.

Nick watched her patiently as she drew the top over her head. Her bare breasts rising as she drew in a breath. Her nipples were erect and begging for his mouth to latch onto them. Soon, he promised silently. She kicked off the rain boots quickly before she shimmied out of her pajama pants. She wore nothing beneath those either. He made a mental note that his wife to be, liked to sleep in the nude or without the confinements of underwear. A smile played upon his lips, knowing every night he’d go to bed a happy man. She braced her hands behind her and leaned back slightly, giving him a better view of the body he was about to ravish.

He stepped closer to her and she spread her legs slightly just as he found his way between them. Completely in sync with one another he braced one arm on each side of her and leaned over her as her back fell into the plush mattress. His fingers tangled with hers and he brought their joined hands over her head as he pressed his lips fused with hers. His tongue swept her mouth as his body sank into her.

She could feel his erection press against her, teasing her core, briefly before he shifted his weight and began a journey across her body with his mouth. She moaned as she trailed her hands up and down his spine. His lips tickled her neck as they worked their way to the swell of her breast. He spread his attention evenly to both breasts. He took one nipple into his mouth, sucking softly before his teeth grazed the perky tip, finally soothing it with a lavish stroke of his tongue. He repeated himself onto its mate, leaving her breasts aching for more. She took in a sharp breath as he lifted his mouth, splaying one hand on the flatness of her abdomen.

His fingertips gently drew circles over her belly. He glanced up, his eyes meeting hers and he smiled at her before be bent his head and pressed his lips against her stomach. She closed her eyes and ran her fingers over his head. He peppered kisses down her stomach until he reached the v of her legs. His hands pushed her thighs further apart and he dipped his head. His tongue slid along the seam of her lips.

“You’re so wet for me.” He murmured against her pussy and his fingertips parted her folds allowing him better access to her clit. His tongue found her aching nub and he licked it before he closed his lips and sucked. He felt her nails dig into his shoulders and knew he found the place she needed him most.

She felt the heat, stir in the pit of her stomach as he worked her like only he could. She was close and with each lap of his tongue, or graze of his teeth, he took her closer, but she didn’t want to lose herself not without him being buried deep inside her. “Nick…” She said between gasps and willed her orgasm away. “I want you inside of me.” She would beg if she had to, but she didn’t want to come until he was coming too, inside of her.

He lifted his head and looked up at her. Her eyes pleaded with his and knew he’d never say no to her, especially when she requested something like that. His eyes darkened and he slid his body back up to hers. His erection was poised and he entered her just as his lips found hers. He grabbed one of her legs and raised it high giving himself a better angle to thrust deeper into her. She wrapped her arms around him as she arched her back, her pelvis grinding up against him, meeting him thrust for thrust.

It didn’t take long for them to fall under the spell they created for each other. He drove himself deep inside her one final time before he spilled his release inside her. The walls of her pussy clenched around his dick as she finally let herself go, riding out her orgasm along with him. He ground against her and gasped, her name as he buried his face in her neck. She felt amazing around him and he thought for sure he had died and gone to heaven.

It took minutes for them to catch their breath and once they had Nick pulled out of her slowly, and fell onto his back beside her.

“God, I missed you.” She said, beside him, her breath still a little ragged. “I missed that too.” She said with a smile on her face.

Nick kept his eyes closed as he grinned slightly. “Luckily you agreed to marry me. Now you can have that whenever your little heart desires.”

She slapped her hand against his chest playfully and he laughed, taking her hand in his. He entwined his fingers with hers and she looked down at the ring that sparkled brightly on her hand. She took a good look at it, appreciating its beauty for the first time.

“We’re getting married.” She shrieked happily as she stared at the ring on her finger in awe. Her face suddenly changed and she bolted upright. “Oh my God, we’re getting married! I have to call my parents.”

He laughed as he casually propped the back of his head on his hands. “They already know.” He said with a smug smile and looked at her out of the corner of his eye. “You didn’t think I’d ask you to marry me without asking your father for his blessing first, did you?”

She looked at him, surprised. “When?” She stammered, confused.

“When I left here before, I went to your parent’s house.” He bit his cheek. “I also told them about the baby.” He said quickly, hoping she didn’t hear him. Her eyes widened. No such luck, buddy. “I thought you had told them and I wanted to assure them that had nothing to do with why I was asking you. The truth is…” he sat up and leaned against the headboard and looked at her sincerely. “I had every intention of asking you to marry me when I got back from Seattle, before I even knew that we had a baby on the way.” He looked down at her stomach. “The baby’s just the icing on the cake.”

She bit her lip as she stared at him in amazement. “You are quite the romantic, Foti.” She smiled and inched closer to him. “You’re really happy about the baby.” She stated because there was no need for her to question him.

“I am and I think that once she’s born we should immediately work on providing her with a slew of brothers and sisters.” He said in a matter of fact tone as he wrapped his arms around her naked frame pulling her against him.

She raised an eyebrow as she nestled into the crook of his arm. “She? You sound pretty sure it’s a girl.”

He thought about it for a moment and kissed the top of her head. “I am.” He said confidently and then thought of the first little girl who stole his heart and how he made good on his promise to her. He’d be officially Ava’s uncle. He smiled at the thought and suddenly he hoped that Sam really was having a girl. He’d love to have a little version of Sam running around calling him daddy. He squeezed Sam closer to him and realized tonight he had closed the most important deal of his life.

Epilogue

Luke walked into the swanky steakhouse that was, located in a neighboring town just outside of Riverdale. He wasn’t into upscale restaurants like these, sure he’d been to them, but he was more laid back and didn’t like to be told he had to wear a sports jacket to eat a meal. He stepped towards the hostess who smiled politely at him.

“Do you have a reservation, sir?” She asked and flipped open the book that held all the reservations.

“I believe so.” Luke said as he yanked on his tie. He felt as if he was suffocating, so he loosened the knot a bit. “I’m supposed to meet a couple. The reservation would be under Lanza.” He rolled his eyes and remembered his best friend had asked his little sister to be his wife. “I’m sorry, it’s probably under Foti.”

She scanned the book in search for the reservation. “Ah, yes. I have a seven thirty reservation for four under Nick Foti.”

Luke glanced at his watch and scowled. He was a half hour early, knowing his sister and how fashionably late, she tended to be, meant he was really forty-five minutes early. Damn him and his punctuality, just once he’d like to make her wait for him once. He pondered the idea and then shook his head slightly. Never happen. He looked back at the hostess, who looked at him expectantly.

“I’m sorry. Did you say something?” He asked.

“I said you could have a seat at the bar while you wait for the rest of your party.”

He smiled at her and scanned the oversized restaurant and found a large old fashioned bar in the center of the restaurant. He made his way to the bar and took the first open seat he saw. He looked around the heavily packed restaurant as he waited for the bartender.

“What can I get you?” The older gentleman asked Luke. He turned around and gave the bartender his attention.

“I’ll have a Dewar’s on the rocks, sir.” Luke said as he tugged at his tie again.

“Right away,” the bartender said with a smile. Luke had to admit the service was wonderful. Everyone was so polite thus far. He didn’t remember the last time he ordered a drink where the bartender didn’t scowl at him or grimace. He thought about that for a moment, maybe that was because the only bar he frequented was Rudy’s. Or maybe the fact that the only time he had a drink at the bar was if Cara was working.

The bartender slid the crystal glass in front of Luke and nodded in salute. “Enjoy.”

Luke returned the smile and lifted the glass to the gentleman. His hand stilled in the air and he was sure his smile fell when his eyes caught a glimpse of the woman who stared at him. Her hazel eyes pierced him. He felt like a human dart board when she looked at him like that. His gut clenched and he brought the glass to his lips taking the first long sip of the golden liquid. His eyes remained on her long after she looked away from him.

He guessed she was the fourth in the reservation. Great. This night was shaping up to be a disaster. First he got to be stuck in a fancy restaurant with a noose around his neck and now he had to spend his evening receiving dirty looks.

He polished off his scotch and placed the empty glass on top of the bar. Well to hell with that. He tugged at the knot in his tie one final time before he pulled the damn thing off. If he was going to be on edge all night, might as well make himself; more comfortable. He shoved the tie into his jacket pocket and undid the top button of his dress shirt. There, he thought to himself as he glanced back across the bar to steal a look at the auburn beauty that had him in knots. Christ, he flinched. When did he start to think of Cara as beautiful? His eyes met hers and she covered her mouth with the palm of her left hand. The ring his brother had put on her finger, promising to marry her, shined brightly, reminding him he had no business thinking of her as beautiful.

She was too skinny anyway. The scarlet dress she wore should’ve hugged her curves instead it fit her loosely and left all that was underneath to the imagination. She wasn’t taking care of herself, but that wasn’t news to him. Half the time he found her in Rudy’s drunk or high on his brother’s pain pills.

He couldn’t tell the difference between the Cara he once knew and the Cara that had taken her place. He was so used to this version, yet as he looked past the dark circles that she covered with makeup, he saw a glimpse of the old Cara. Her palm was raised to her mouth to cover a smile or maybe it was a giggle. She was laughing at him.

Luke didn’t know what to make of it and he was sure he looked like a fool as he gaped at her in shock. The bartender returned with another glass of scotch for him. He placed it down on the bar and turned, following Luke’s eyes to Cara.

“She’s a sweet young lady.” The bartender said and busied his hands drying a glass.

Luke tore his eyes from Cara and looked at the bartender as if he had just dropped in from another planet. Clearly, he had the wrong woman. The older man looked up at him out of the corner of his eyes and smiled slightly.

“She’s been here about an hour. Little lady likes the whiskey.” He placed the dry glass under the bar and then looked at Luke. “But she’s wearing a ring, lad.” He said before making his way over to another patron.

Well, thanks for pointing that out, Luke said silently as he raised his glass. He looked across the bar, but she wasn’t there anymore. He sighed and downed the scotch, figuring by the time his sister and fuck, his soon to be brother-in-law got here he’d be a drunken mess.

“You never did like to wear a tie.” He heard the familiar voice say from behind him. Her voice was husky but laced with the slightest hint of honey. Christ, he was fucked. He slowly turned and those hazel eyes that gleamed at him were green. Luke knew that meant she had to be drunk. It was so strange how her eyes changed color like that it fascinated him.

“Is that why you were laughing?” He sighed and let his gaze linger on her for a moment before he turned back to the bar, hoping the bartender would notice his empty glass again.
