Before walking outside to Lexie, I go back into the kitchen and grab another bottle of wine, quickly uncorking it.
“Come on,” I say quietly, reaching out my hand for her.
She smiles and takes it as she stands up. “What are you up to, handsome?”
I lead her through the house and to the bathroom, and she gasps, as she takes it all in.
“I know how much you love taking baths and I figured you would want to enjoy it while we were here.”
She smiles and steps towards me, kissing the underside of my jaw. “I love it. Are you getting in with me?”
Well, I hadn't planned on it, but I'm certainly not going to turn down an opportunity to have her wet naked body against mine. “Do you want me to, Angel?”
“Yes.”
I refill our wine glasses and set them on the counter next to the bath before stripping out of my shirt. I stop to watch Lexie as she takes her dress off and unsnaps her bra. Seeing her body is something I don't think I will ever get used to.
Quickly unbuckling my belt, I toss it to the side before unbuttoning my pants. I let them drop to the floor before doing the same with my boxers. Lexie drags her little black thong down her legs and looks over her shoulder at me. She raises an eyebrow at my hardness and smirks as she steps into the bath.
There is no way my hard cock can be hidden, but I don't want her to think that is what this is about.
“I can't help my reaction to you, Lexie.” I say as I step towards her.
“And I wouldn't want you to.”
She scoots forward and allows me room to step in.
The water is warm, almost hot, but it feels good. I sink down behind her and pull her body between my legs.
“Is the water too hot for you?” I ask as I kiss her shoulder.
“No, it's perfect.”
Her head lays back to rest on my shoulder and I wrap my arms around her stomach. Lexie reaches down and entwines her fingers through mine, giving my hand a squeeze.
I love the way she fits in my arms. I am fully convinced that this woman was made for me and I lean my head down and gently kiss her neck.
“I love you, Angel,” I breathe against her skin.
Her hand gives mine another squeeze, before she moves it up to cup her breast.
“Touch me, please,” she says in a low voice.
She moves her hand away, as I run my thumb over her hard nipple. She moans and I do it again, cupping her heavy breasts in my palm and squeezing it. I'm still learning her body. I know everything there is to know about Lexie, but I don't know everything about how she likes to be touched. I love it when I find something new that she likes.
I slide my hand down her belly and run my fingers through her folds, my thumb landing on her clit. I move it slow tight circles and she moans in response.
“Does that feel good?”
“Yes. I need more.”
I move my hand farther down and sink my middle finger inside of her. Her walls immediately tighten around me and my cock grows even harder just thinking about what it feels like to be inside of her.
Her hand moves to my wrist and her nails dig into my skin. I slowly withdraw my finger and go back to playing with her clit.
Pinching her nipple with one hand, I sink two fingers back inside of her with the other. She turns her face towards mine and I kiss her deeply, as I touch her beautiful body. She moans deep in her throat and I pull back to look into her eyes.
She’s panting heavily and her cheeks are flushed. “Do you need to come?” I ask. My voice is deep and rough.
“Yes. Please make me come, Zack,” she begs.
I love hearing my name come out of her mouth when she's like this. She sounds so needy and turned on. It takes everything I have to not pick her up and bury my cock inside of her, but I want this to be about her. I want to give and not receive anything in return.
“Shh… I've got you, Angel.”
I hook my fingers up inside of her and rub that spot deep inside of her that makes her go wild, dragging my fingers against her inner walls as I move them in and out of her. My thumb strums her clit, as my other hand pinches her hard nipple.
“My cock is so hard for you, Lexie. I could come from just watching you. You are so fucking beautiful,” I grit out.
Her hips start moving in sync with me and it’s not long before her walls clamp down on my fingers and she is coming all over my hand. I keep my fingers buried deep in her as she sags back against my body.
“Shit.”
I chuckle and kiss the side of her neck. “Did that feel good?”
“Do you even have to ask?”
The muscles inside of her clutch at me, as I remove my fingers. I drag my hands back up her stomach and cup her breasts in my hands, gently massaging them.
“Hmm. I'll take that as a yes.”
I move my hands to her shoulders and rub. Her head drops forward and she moans.
“That feels almost as good,” she jokes.
I dig my fingers into her muscles and laugh. “I feel like I should be insulted.”
“You have talented hands, Mr. Grantham.”
“And they are all yours and only yours, Angel.”
She turns her head enough to look me over her shoulder. “I like the sound of that,” she whispers.
“Me too.”
I know she hasn't told me that she loves me, yet. I'm not sure what's holding her back from saying those words, but I can see it in her eyes when she looks at me. However, I can wait for as long as she needs as long as she keeps looking at me the way she is right now.
Chapter Twenty-One
Lexie
I
STRETCH MY ARMS ABOVE
my head and smile when I smell coffee and hear a deep chuckle. I open my eyes to see Zack standing above me: he's shirtless, holding a cup of coffee and smiling my favorite smile.
“Is that mine?” I ask, nodding towards the cup.
He nods his head in response and perches on the edge of the bed. I sit up and the sheet falls to my waist, revealing my breasts to him. His eyes automatically drop to them and he licks his lips.
I smile and clear my throat. His eyes dart back to mine and he gives me a sheepish look, as he shrugs.
Reaching my hands out for my coffee I watch him as he passes it to me, before running his hand through his hair.
“I called this morning about the tour and they said it starts around eleven o'clock. Is that okay with you?”
“Sounds good,” I take a sip of my coffee and I can't help but smile.
“You are very smiley this morning,” he says with a grin of his own.
“I'm just really happy.”
His eyes go soft and he cups my cheek in his hand. “I'm glad.” He leans forward and his lips meet mine.
“Alright, lazy bones. Hop on up. I made us a bagel and some fruit. We need to be ready to go in about an hour and a half.”
He stands from the bed and I watch as he walks out of the room. God, he is so sexy. I still can't believe that this wonderful man loves me. I've been so scared that I will do something that will make him want to run as fast as he can in the other direction, but I keep forgetting that he knows me. He knows me better than anyone else in the world and yet he still chooses me. I always just saw Zack as a friend. Yes, I’ve always loved him fiercely, but what I'm feeling now is something deeper. It's something that I can't even describe. I looked at him as a friend, but now I look at him and see every part of my future. I love him. It’s that simple.

After breakfast, we shower together and get ready. I don’t bother straightening my hair or applying make-up. I know it's going to be warm today and we will more than likely be sweaty by the time the tour is finished.
Zack takes my hand as we walk through the gardens and towards the main house. I look around and smile, as I take it all in. This place really is something out of a dream. It's so unbelievably beautiful, that it almost doesn't feel real.
We walk up to the receptionist desk and get signed in. The same lady from the night before is working and she smiles when she sees us. “Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Grantham. Are you enjoying your stay so far?”
I give Zack's hand a squeeze as I smile at her. “We are. Thank you.”
Zack asks her where we should go for the tour and she points us in the direction of a Jacob, who will be our guide for the day. After a quick ‘thank you’ to Jessica, we make our way over to small group of people.
A few more join us and before long, we are all ready to go. Most of the tour requires us to walk, but we all load into three large golf carts that take us down the hill and to the vineyards. Jacob walks us through the rows of grapevines and explains all of the different kinds that they grow. He tells us how they are farmed and what kind of wine they will be made into. We stop and have a catered lunch on top of one of the hills overlooking the property. The food and wine are absolutely delicious and I'm happy to see that even Zack likes the sweet white wine that is served. After that, Jacob takes us into the actual winery and explains what happens during production. We see how the grapes are turned from fruit into wine. It is absolutely fascinating. We are served several other types of wine and by the time we get back into the golf cart, my head is spinning a little.
I look over at Zack and smile. “I may need a little nap.”
He runs his hand down my hair and laughs. “Yeah. That's probably a good idea.”
I lean towards him and kiss the dimple on his cheek. “Thank you for today,” I whisper.
“Anytime, Angel.” He kisses the tip of my nose and pulls me close to him as I rest my head on his shoulder and watch the scenery go by. This couldn't be more perfect.
We arrive back at the villa at around four o'clock.
“What time do you want to go to dinner?” I ask him as we walk into the villa.
“No set time, just whenever you get hungry. Why?”
“I think I really do need a nap,” I admit turning to face him.
“Did you get a little tipsy, Angel.”
“Just a wee bit,” I laugh.
“Come on. Let's go lay down. We can get ready to go to dinner after you wake up.”
He takes my hand and leads me towards the bedroom. Oh my God, that bed looks like heaven.
“You don't have to lay down if you don't want to,” I tell him through a yawn.
He chuckles and pulls his shirt over his head and kicks his shoes off. “And miss an opportunity to hold your body against mine?”
I watch as he puts a knee to the mattress and crawls towards the middle. Kicking off my shoes, I make my way across the bed. He lays on his side and opens his arms to me. I crawl into them and wrap my arms around him. Our legs tangle together and my cheek rests on his warm chest.
“I'll wake you in a little bit,” he murmurs, as he kisses the top of my head.
I make a sound of agreement before letting the comforting thud of his heartbeat lull me to sleep.

I wake up sometime later with something tickling my face, and I use my hand to swat away whatever is pulling me out of my peaceful slumber, burrowing deeper into my warm pillow. The pillow shakes under my head and I groan as I open one eye. Zack is smiling down at me in amusement.
“Wake up sleepy head.” He is way too chipper.
I close my eye and shake my head. “No.”
“Come on, baby. I let you sleep as long as I could, but I want to take you to dinner.”
Something tickles my face again and I open both eyes to glare at him. “What in the ever living hell is that. Where did you get a feather?” I grumble.
“It's your hair, Angel,” he chuckles.
I sigh and flip over onto my back while rubbing my eyes. “What time is it?”
He props himself up on his elbow and looks down at me, pushing the hair off of my face. “It's a little after six o'clock. I didn't know if you wanted to shower again or not.”
“Yeah, I do. Thank you for waking me.”
I lean over and give him a brief kiss on the lips before jumping up out of the bed.
“Do you want me to pour you a glass of wine while you're getting ready?”
“Why not.” I smile, before walking into the bathroom and stripping down for my shower. This thing is a work of wonders. It has to have at least thirty jets.
I quickly wash my hair and body before stepping out and drying off, and I’m applying my make-up when Zack walks into the bathroom with my glass of wine and two Advil.
“I figured you may need them.”
“Thank you,” I smile.
I watch him in the mirror as he takes his pants and underwear off before stepping into the shower. God, I love his body. I just want to lick him.
“Stop looking at me like that, Angel, or we won't ever make it to dinner,” he winks.
I laugh as I go back to finishing my make-up. Missing dinner doesn't sound so bad.
About an hour later, though, we walk out of the villa and towards the Italian restaurant. It's still warm outside, but the sun is slowly sinking and the humidity isn't as bad as it was earlier. Zack is wearing black suit pants and a blue button up shirt. He has the sleeves rolled up, drawing attention to his strong forearms.
I hold onto Zack as I try to navigate the cobble stone pathway in my high heels.
“Do you need me to carry you?” he asks with a chuckle.
“No. I think I've got it. Let's try not to scare the other guests.”
“You look stunning, Angel,” he whispers.
I look up into his eyes and sees that he really means that. “Thank you.”
He smiles and leads us inside.
The restaurant is small and intimate. The lighting is low and there are candles glowing on every table. We are seated by the windows and the view is fantastic. “God, this place is just so pretty.”
“I know. I only saw pictures of it before we came, but they don't really do it justice.”
The waiter comes over to get our drink order and Zack orders us another kind of red wine.
I stare at my menu for a second before quickly deciding on lasagna.
After we have our drinks and we order our food, we make small talk through-out dinner. He tells me about the new guy that was hired at the fire station and I tell him about Emily coming into the bakery. I love how there is never awkwardness in our silence. Rarely do I feel comfortable in silence with other people, but with Zack I feel like I can just be me. I don't have to fill a void or keep him entertained.
