"Why is that woman still alive?" Satan yelled at Charleston. "I told you to do away with her after the last child was born."

"I did. I drove her insane and sent her to a home," Charleston replied sheepishly.

"You’re freaking amazing. It's like I'm surround by... I don't know... what could be stupider than you two? Not monkeys... you’re beyond the most stupidest humans I have every come across and I have come across some stupid humans."  Satan paced, frustrated by Charleston and Blake. He stopped and looked at Blake who still lay on the floor groaning in pain. "I'll figure out what to do with you fools later. I don't have time for this." He dematerialized.

Charleston sat at his desk. "We're screwed," he said to Blake.

"You’re more than screwed," Damian said, appearing before them with a smug grin.

"What do you want?" Blake yelled.

"You guys suck. I can't wait for Dad to punish you." Damian laughed.

"Get out of here!" Charleston threw a coffee mug at his head.

Damian laughed as he moved aside, and calmly watched the mug pass him by and slam into the wall behind him. "We can work together."

"Why would I want to work with you?" Charleston growled.

Damian grinned at his older brothers. "Look at you two... demons... wearing meat suits... If you really want to get even, maybe we can work something out and share the victory together."

"Share!" Blake laughed, getting up from the floor. "We can't even work together. You’re my little brother and I hate you, and him." Blake pointed to Charleston who growled at him.

"It's up to you." Damian ended the conversation by dematerializing.

"That little twerp could be onto something," Charleston said as he thought about it.

Blake looked at Charleston and staggered towards him. He stared at him as if he’d just lost his mind. "That meat suit got your head all twisted," Blake replied as he twirled his index fingers on either side of his head.

Tamarius held his son and admired every inch of him.  A month had passed.  Although it was difficult to keep record of each day that passed due to the constant presence of the sun, Tamarius felt it was important to count the days. If it hadn’t been for the stars disappearing and reappearing each day it may well have been impossible. Makayla and Tamarius would be clueless about how many days had passed.  The baby kept them on an odd schedule of sleeping, feeding and drowsy wakefulness that skewed their own biological timing.

Tamarius built a cottage for his family. It was important he provide shelter for his family.  He wanted to do everything possible to make them comfortable throughout this ordeal.  Each day that passed he thought of his sword, but wanted to give his wife and son time to regain their strength for the possible long journey.

He smiled at his wife as she approached him. They had no clothes and Makayla had begun to make her own clothes out of the surrounding foliage. The results were quite interesting.  Tamarius admired her ingenuity and fashion sense. She looked fabulous and he was constantly turned on by her new wardrobe. "Hey, sexy." He smiled as she sat beside to him.

"Hey, handsome." Makayla smiled and patted his hand

"It's not such a bad life here," Tamarius remarked as he looked around.

"Yeah, everything from a toothbrush to first-aid is all around us, but I miss home." Makayla looked away.

Tamarius placed his son back in the cradle he’d made for him then turned to his wife. "We are going to make it back home," he said. He put his fingers to her chin and brought her gaze to his. "Can I touch you now?" he joked as he remembered the remark she’d made after she’d given birth to Solomon.

"Don't. I need more time," Makayla said.

"I healed you, but if you’re still..."

"No, it's not that," Makayla replied. "What if I get pregnant again? Can we handle it?"

Tamarius understood her fears. "There's natural birth control."

"Does it work?" Makayla asked.

Tamarius looked at his wife. "You can always make a muumuu out of some leaves."

Makayla smiled. "You’re stupid."

"Nothing will keep me from you." He moved closer to her.

"I feel strong enough to start searching for your sword." Makayla looked at Tamarius who was now giving her bedroom eyes.

"Yeah? What else are you strong enough for?" He kissed her, forcing her to lie down on the soft ground. Tamarius slid his hands down his wife's thigh then up along her hips and over her belly.  He let out a hungry sigh and cupped her breasts in his hands.

Makayla smiled and groaned softly. As Tamarius kissed her neck, she ran her fingers through his soft wavy hair. Solomon began protesting and Makayla shoved Tamarius off her and jumped up to rush to her son.

Tamarius sat on the ground and silently complained to himself.

Makayla picked up her son and held him against her chest. "I think he's hungry." She looked a spot to make herself comfortable.

"So am I," Tamarius mumbled.

"Say something?" Makayla questioned.

"Come here. Let me be your pillow," Tamarius said. "Since that’s the only way I can get close to you right now."

"Ah, baby, it's your son I'm feeding." Makayla smiled and she sat between his legs.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Wow, two babies for the price of one." Makayla smiled.

Tamarius kissed her cheek as he slid his hand and arm under hers to help support the baby. He smiled as he looked down at his son feeding. "We do make beautiful babies."

"He is going to be one handsome boy," Makayla agreed.

Tamarius was in heaven with his wife and son. He’d never thought he could be this happy, especially in a situation like this. Makayla finished feeding Solomon and put him to sleep inside of the hut. While Makayla was inside, Tamarius heard a sound in the bushes. The spear he’d made to protect his family and hunt with lay nearby and he quickly scooped it up.

Makayla walked back out of the hut.

He stopped her and gave her a quick kiss. "Stay here. I'll be right back. I heard something."

Makayla nodded and reentered the hut. She picked Solomon up and held him close in case they had to leave quickly. Tamarius searched through the woods expecting to see a wild animal or something.

After an hour Tamarius returned to his hut, unaware that he was being watched.

Natasha kept her eyes on Tamarius as he greeted his wife at the opening of their hut. For the past seventeen years Natasha has been trapped in this world and for the past month she’d been watching Tamarius and his wife from a distance. She was almost caught today and she blamed herself for not being more careful.

Natasha’s mind wasn't all there. Living in this realm for so many years had been difficult on her psyche. Everyday she wrote out formulas to open a portal to get back home. She failed each time. Stuck here for what she thought would be the rest of her life, hope had instantly filled her when she’d seen Tamarius walking through the woods.  Convinced he had come looking for her, her heart had broken when he’d called out to a woman carrying a child. It was incredible the love and compassion he showed for his wife.

She was really mad at herself. She’d had the chance of a lifetime and had thrown it away for science. Now she found herself obsessing day and night over Tamarius, wondering what her life would have been had she chosen him.

Natasha remained concealed in the bushes as Tamarius and Makayla talked and laughed in front of their hut.  Tamarius put a loving hand to Makayla’s cheek then guided her back inside their little hut. Distraught by the cozy display, Natasha plotted her next move. She wanted to meet with Tamarius alone.  She needed to talk to him. If he would only give her a chance to explain her actions, he would love her again, she felt certain of that. She would wait for the right opportunity, when his wife was busy and he was alone.

"What was it?" Makayla looked into Tamarius' glowing grey eyes. They stood in the middle of the dimly lit hut. Only the sunlight breaking through the cracks lit the room. She glanced at the baby who slept peacefully in his cradle then returned her attention to Tamarius. She could feel his tension and knew his guard was up. His eyes glowed as though searching for what no average man could see.

"I thought I heard something. I kept searching for a wild animal, but my psyche is picking up a person."

"Well, a person may not be so bad. A whole group of people will really make me..."

"Okay, I don't want to spend our...  our so called night worrying about whatever is out there." Tamarius walked up to his wife and threw his spear into a corner. It hit the wall with a loud clatter before sliding to the floor.

Makayla smacked him on his chest. "You’re going to wake the baby."

"I can't believe we’re parents." Tamarius pulled her into his arms.

"I wish we were home where it's safe."

"No matter where we are God is still the Creator of this planet," Tamarius said.

Makayla closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around him. "I’m glad I’m not here alone."

Tamarius lifted her chin and kissed her forehead. She grinned as she planted a kiss on his bare chest. Their lips met as he picked her up and wrapped her legs around his chiseled waist. "Stop. Stop," Makayla groaned.

Tamarius reluctantly set her down. "What's wrong?"

"I feel like someone is watching us," Makayla said.

Tamarius looked over at the sleeping baby.

Makayla laughed. "Are you serious? A one month old?"

"You never know." Tamarius smiled.

Makayla walked to their bed made of leaves and soft fragrant flowers. She made herself comfortable, lying back on Tamarius' shirt stuffed with bird feathers.

Tamarius listened but didn't hear anything as he turned around to say something to his wife. He became distracted by her beautiful body
, which lay amongst the yellow, pink
and purple flowers. He wanted to hold this picture in his mind forever. "What I would do for a camera right now," he whispered.

Makayla was unaware of her husband’s lustful thoughts as she relaxed and thought about getting out of this mess.

Tamarius eased over to his wife and kissed her stomach. He made his way to her lips.  "You are so beautiful."

"You’re just saying that." Makayla blushed.

"I’m so lucky to be trapped here with you," he whispered. He slid his hand down over the sweet curve of her hips and kissed her passionately.

Makayla scratched at his back, sending waves of sexual energy blazing through his body. Tamarius moaned with animal abandon as he ripped away at Makayla's clothes. Equally raging with animal lust, Makayla pulled at the buttons and zipper of his pants, breaking them free. Tamarius pushed his pants off while keeping his lips on his wife. He nibbled her bottom lip, eager to taste more.

Makayla glided her hands along his muscular chest, sending soft waves of tingling energy throughout her being. Tamarius moaned as he looked down at the woman who smiled so seductively at him.  Feeling her loving energy flow through him was too intense to bear. "I don't think I can hold back now," he whispered as he spread her legs apart.

"It's okay." Makayla looked into his eyes. She leaned up to kiss him and forced him onto his back. Tamarius was like putty in her hands as she straddled him, kissing him from his neck to his chest to the back of his ear.
