Without hesitation, Clay had decided to sell his own home and once the papers were signed, the three of them had moved into Turtledove Ranch. Being together the way they had been had felt right, but there was something missing.
Clay’s heart and mind were on the same page, and there was nothing that could change the way he felt for her. The one thing he’d believed would complete them was for her to marry him. He’d prayed, time and again, for that moment to surface when she’d be ready. Strangely, he had always been.
Clay knew Delilah well. All the time they’d spent together over the last several months had taught him that she was ready to slow her life down. The hustle and bustle of city living was no longer the life she wished to explore. He knew she also wanted a chance to sow her oats without feeling trapped by the men in her life. That also included her father. Clay had taken the time to truly listen to Delilah’s needs and wants. He wasn’t about to ruin everything over her pushy-ass father.
Clay extended his hand for Delilah to take. They had plans to attend to, and he wasn’t about to waste any more time dancing around topics that were between Delilah, Hunter, and him. “Shall we go?” he asked her, and slowly her fingers weaved around his, a soft smile pulling at her rosy lips.
“Wait,” Mr. Devero called out.
Inclining his head in his direction, Clay arched a brow and stared.
“There’s something you should know before you leave this house, Mr. Garrett.” Mr. Devero stepped closer to Delilah. “In my line of business, I often test the strength of men emotionally. I like to find out how much of a backbone they truly have. Men who crumble at my feet do not impress me, but men whose passions ignite do. I think my daughter has chosen well, and I support her decision to reside in Temptation. This is her home now, and I can see why she feels so safe and at ease here.” He kissed his daughter’s cheek. “Now, didn’t you say there was a cookout to attend? I’m starving.”

Hunter snickered, glancing over to see Mr. Devero mingling with the only two available women at Paradise Ranch, Sophia and Madeline. “Maybe your father’s planning on joining us in Temptation with a love story of his own.”
Delilah giggled as her heart danced wildly in her chest. Staring from Clay to Hunter, she considered a life where her father was their neighbor in Temptation. Her mind suddenly whirled with thoughts she hadn’t allowed herself to share. Until now, they were thoughts that surprised even her. She’d found the love of a lifetime with Clay and Hunter and there was no better way to acknowledge that love than to divulge the longing that was burning inside her soul.
Glancing from Clay to Hunter and back again, Delilah announced, “I want a baby.” Holding her breath, she finally released it when neither man said anything. “What? No objections or possible freak-outs over what I just said?”
With a grin, Hunter shrugged. “Why should we freak-out?”
Clay arched a brow. “This isn’t because of what your father said earlier, is it?”
“No, actually it’s because for the first time in my life I feel whole, like everything is as it should be.”
“Everything but one thing,” Clay murmured, cupping her face in his hands. “If you have the guts to drop something as important and life changing on me as wanting a baby, then it’s only fair that I ask you to marry me, Delilah.”
She stared up at him, her eyes rounded and their blue was so bright it was competition for the cloudless sky above them. “Why should I marry you, Clay? What about Hunter?”
“Well, I can answer that one,” Hunter said, closing the distance. “As long as you belong to me, too, I really don’t care which one of us you are married to. However, I want you to have my baby, no matter how long it takes…and I want to wake up beside you for the rest of my life.” He shot Clay a quick glance. “He’s the one with emotional issues and needs the security of a wedding band. I simply need you.”
“You don’t need a wedding band?”
Hunter shook his head. “Nope. Like I said, as long as you devote yourself to me as you would Clay and sort of marry me in private, you can be Clay’s wife in public. What we do behind closed doors is our business anyway.”
She caressed the side of Hunter’s face. “When would we get married?”
“Well, if you want a baby soon, I’d suggest the marriage happen soon, so we can start the fun stuff,” Hunter teased, raising his eyebrows up and down provocatively.
Delilah faced Clay. “Is this what you want?”
He cupped her face and gazed into her ocean-blue eyes. His voice lowered as he told her, “Delilah Devero, it would mean the world to me to have you as my wife.” He reached inside his pants pocket and pulled out a small, velvety, black box. “I’ve been waiting for months to ask you to be my wife. I didn’t want you to think I was rushing you or forcing you to stay in Temptation if you truly didn’t want to be here. Now that you’ve opened up to me about wanting a family…it’s the perfect time to ask you to be my wife.” He gently kissed her lips. “Marry me, Delilah. Make me the happiest man in Temptation.”
Her eyes watered and her bottom lip trembled. A burst of joy sprung from her gaze as her arms surrounded Clay in a fond embrace.
Against his face, she breathed, “Yes. I’ll marry you.” Easing back, she kept one arm around Clay and the other tightly wrapped around Hunter’s waist. She kissed Hunter’s lips. “I love you both so much. I don’t know what I would do if I couldn’t spend my life with you both.”

A month later, Delilah and Clay were married at the quaint church in town. Hunter stood beside her, wearing the same wedding band that she and Clay wore. Together, the three of them planned a life. No matter what others thought of their arrangement, nothing would change how they felt about each other or how they wanted to start a family. She’d promised, God willing, to have a child by Clay as well as Hunter. Neither would be a challenge, since she couldn’t get enough of her cowboys.
Lying in bed beside her husbands, Delilah smiled, snuggling up close to them. Hunter’s cell phone rang annoyingly as he prepared to kiss her. She loved the way the word “wife” sounded as she regarded her two husbands.
Glancing down at her, he said, “I better get that.” Answering the line, his expression brightened. “Wow, that’s awesome. Yes, I’ll tell everyone. Congrats, bro. Well, see you soon. Give Abby our love.”
Hunter hung up his cell phone and placed it back on the nightstand and went directly back to kissing Delilah. She gently pushed on his chest.
Delilah’s eyes widened with anticipation. “Well?”
“Oh, sorry, that was Tyler. Abby had a seven pound, six ounces baby girl.”
She squealed with excitement. “That’s so wonderful.”
“Yep, I guess we’re next,” Hunter teased.
“Yep,” Clay agreed, shoving Hunter off her, parting her thighs, and sliding himself inside her body. Delilah moaned. Her head arched back as Clay began making love to her.
“What the hell are you doing?” Hunter asked, practically chewing the words he spat at Clay.
Taking a moment away from kissing his giggling wife, he glared at Hunter. “What does it look like? I’m making love to my wife.”
Hunter scowled. “Really? Because it looks more like you’re annoying the shit out of me.”
With a wide snicker, Clay got his payback. “Let the games begin,” he teased.
Hunter had to know that his smartass ways would come back to bite him in the ass, and sure enough they had.
“Now, boys, please stop fighting. I only have one desire right now, and that’s to be breathless and panting from unbound pleasures.” She gently stroked the side of Hunter’s face and returned to kiss Clay.
Grinning like the devil, both Clay and Hunter set to work on her, kissing, caressing, and loving her in all the ways they’d come to know would have her craving the passions they explored, leaving her breathless in Temptation.
