“I’ve been wondering that same thing all day long, and it’s had me so wet that I got tired of worrying about my panties.”

He lifted my shirt over my head, reached behind me with one hand, and undid my bra before tossing it to the side. His hands came up to my tits, cupping them together before I pulled his face into them. Feeling his lips kissing their way to my nipple as his cock hardened beneath me. I pulled back away from him before he could get to my nipple, depriving him of what he so badly wanted.

“Sorry, but we have a small problem here.” I motioned to my naked body, then to him with all his clothes on. I never saw a man stumble out of his clothes so fast. He tried to take his pants off before he even had his shoes off, which made him fall back onto the couch. “That will work just fine. This way I know you can’t get up and run anywhere, but I still have access to this.”

Kneeling on my knees in front of him, I started to lick up the side of his half‐limp dick. This was the only way I could fit the entire thing into my mouth. That much dick took a while to get fully erect, but once he did, it didn’t go down for a while. As my lips came up and over the tip of his dick, I let my teeth brush against it gently. Like I said, I knew how to make sure he knew his role in this relationship. Quite simply, he and his dick were here to please me tonight. Any pleasure I let him have in that process was my choice, not his.

Pushing myself to the base, I gagged slightly as it pressed against the back of my throat, before raising my lips to the head. I could feel it growing as my hand stroked up the bottom of his shaft, and I tried to continue to take as much of it as I could as I bobbed up and down.

Squeezing his hard dick in my hand, I straddled him once again as I rubbed it across my clit a couple times before positioning myself over him. Slowly sliding myself down onto him, I let myself adjust to both his length and girth. He took my breath away every time he entered me. No matter how slow I went.

Ryan raised his hands to my face, and pulled me down to his mouth for a kiss. Our tongues met momentarily, until he started to kiss over to my neck. I could feel his warm breath on my neck as he whispered to me, “I thought you said you could handle me.” With that, his hands wrapped under my arms and up to my shoulders, pulling me down onto him and allowing him to fill me. I screamed with pain, feeling like I had lost my virginity all over again, before a wave of pleasure overcame me.

I wasn’t sure how I was able to take it, but after a minute, I started to rock my hips and work more of his dick into me. His hands brought my tits to his mouth, his lips alternating between kissing each of the nipples. I threw my head back, letting him do whatever he wanted to them, as I continued to work his dick for all I was worth.

His mouth closed around my nipple, sucking it in and rolling it between his teeth. I felt my first orgasm of many coming on as I rocked myself on him faster. Raising myself a few inches and sliding back down I felt my muscles constricting. I couldn’t move as the contractions grabbed his dick and pleasure raced through me. If only Amber could have been there to see this.

“That felt pretty damn good, but now it’s my turn.” Ryan lifted me up and off his dick. My legs were a little wobbly, but he led me to the bedroom. He sat me on the edge of the bed and pushed me back. Sliding down to get a few licks of my wet pussy, he ran his tongue across my clit. The sensitivity of my clit made me jump so much that I almost had to smack him to get him to stop.

He stood up and positioned himself between my legs. After the way he slammed himself into me earlier, I expected more of the same, but I felt the head of his dick spreading the lips to my pussy, slowly entering me as a tease. I braced myself for that sudden thrust that never came. He was gentle, sliding slowly into me, carefully making love to me like he never had.

He leaned down over me, his hand coming up to caress my face as he continued to slide in and out of me. We kissed, lips and tongues fighting one another. I sucked his lower lip into my mouth and raked my teeth across it. A few minutes later, I could feel his dick swelling even more. He looked deep into my eyes as he thrust one more time. The words that came out of his mouth scared me to death. “I love you Celeste.”

Chapter Thirty‐Five

Rhylie

I was watching a movie and relaxing when someone knocked on my door. Zane was supposed to call me soon so I would have to get rid of whoever this was. He wasn’t one to talk every day, so when I could get him to commit to call, I was ready and waiting. I guess I was starting to get a little infatuated with him. Why was I letting this guy do this to me?

I stormed to the door, yanking it open with a little more force than I expected. Standing there with the most beautiful bouquet of lilies was Zane. I couldn’t contain myself as I jumped at him. “Eep! What are you doing here?”

“I thought I would ride down with Ryan and surprise you. In other words, I didn’t drive so I don’t have a way home for a couple days. I didn’t want to give you a chance to turn me away.”

“How could I ever turn you away?” I hugged him tight before realizing that I was standing on the front porch in my booty shorts.

I stepped inside, shut the door, and pulled him in for a kiss. After all these weeks, those lips still made me weak in the knees. I didn’t know how much longer I could go without expanding our relationship past second base.

“What made you decide to come down this weekend? I thought you were going to hang out with Breck. You know, finally have that talk with him.”

“Yeah, well that’s why I came down. I had that talk with him yesterday, and I figured it best if I got out of town for a couple days.”

“That good, huh?” Zane had told me how Breck wasn’t acting himself for the past few weeks. Breck had proposed to Rachel before Luke and Cailyn’s wedding, but she said no. Rachel moved out while he was in town for the wedding, and once he went back home his drinking continued to pick up to the point where you never saw him without a drink in his hand.

“Let’s just say if I hadn’t been prepared, I probably wouldn’t have been able to walk through that door. I made sure it was somewhere very public, and it’s probably a good thing that I can run pretty fast too.”

“Do I need to go have a talk with him? Tell him not to hurt my man? Don’t think I won’t. I’ll put his ass in its place.”

Zane pulled me into a hug. “Babe, I don’t think that’s necessary. He’ll cool off after a few days. I hope. Anyway, I’m going to see if I can talk to Luke while I’m here. Maybe he can go have a talk with him too. So what were you up to tonight?”

I batted my eyelashes at him. “Little ole me? I was sitting here waiting for some special phone call from my boyfriend. Shh, don’t tell.”

“Your secret is safe with me.” Zane wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we walked to the couch. “What the hell is this? Another chick flick?”

“Excuse me. How was I supposed to know you were going to show up here? I’m glad you did, but I may need you to hold me while I cry.”

“Great, what are you subjecting me to?

“Let me remind you, you are the one that showed up unannounced. You are going to watch If I Stay.”

Cuddling up into him, I swung a leg across his. I couldn’t help but think about spinning over him just a little more and straddling his cock. Those thoughts were going to get me in a lot of trouble one of these days.

Chapter Thirty‐Six

Cailyn

The past few days had been full of nothing but nausea and vomiting. I had considered going to the doctor, but I didn’t want to worry Luke. He had gone out to the shop to work this morning. He had this elaborate plan of what he wanted to get done on the bar this weekend.

As I got ready to head to the store, I stepped out into the garage. Luke took a minute to notice me since I was making sure to stay out of his way. I hated how there was sawdust everywhere, but he always did a great job cleaning up.

“I’m gonna run to the store and get a few things. Do you need me to pick you up anything?”

“No, I’m good. Are you okay? You don’t look so good.”

“Yeah, I’m fine. I think I ate something that didn’t settle well.”

Walking out to my car, I felt my stomach turn a few times. Sitting down in the car, I pulled out a few crackers I had brought with me. Driving didn’t seem to make things any better. Climbing into bed and staying there all day wasn’t an option, so I picked up what I needed and headed home. My stomach tormented me as I felt the urge to stop and get something to eat, but I knew it wouldn’t settle well with the way I had been feeling.

When I got back home, I walked upstairs and headed straight to the bathroom. Pulling out the test, I took a deep breath, and read the instructions. Not feeling well enough to look over the different options, I had grabbed the very first one I saw.

I took the test and waited. The next few minutes seemed to drag on for eternity. I held my breath in anticipation. Pacing back and forth, I felt the nerves building. Part of me really wanted this to be just something I ate last night, or even the stomach flu. The other part of me wanted to see two lines.

The timer I had set on my phone went off. Picking up the test as I closed my eyes, I took a deep breath, and opened my eyes to look at it. I blinked a couple times to make sure I was seeing it right. I screamed loud enough for Luke to hear me over his saw. “Luke!”

Certain he heard the fear in my voice, I heard him running up the stairs as quickly as he could. The door swung open as he looked down on me sitting on the bathroom floor vomiting into the toilet.

“Oh my God! Cailyn, are you okay? Do I need to take you to the hospital? What can I do?”

I wiped off my mouth, picked up the test from the floor, and threw it at him. Just before I felt another wave coming, I was able to scream at him, “Look at what you fucking did to me. I’m pregnant.”

Acknowledgements

I knew going into this book that I had to grow from the first one. In fact, when I finished this book I went back and added an additional five thousand words to the first book. Hey, give me a break, it was my first book. I took the words from my readers to heart, listened to them, and went back to try and strengthen it. I know that most of the people that read the First Edition probably won’t go back to read those words again, but thankfully for me at this point there weren’t a lot of people that had read the book. Never thought I would be happy to say I don’t have many readers yet.

Hopefully with the second book coming out that will change. Like I said, I have listened to the readers. That is who I am writing for after all. I want to make you happy. Granted I can’t make everyone happy, and I know that, but I try my best to listen to you. So please, for me and any other authors, leave us reviews. It’s like giving us a hug. It can be a fan‐girl hug of death as you squeeze the breath out of us, telling us that you love everything about the book. Or it can be a soft simple hug with a pat on the back saying, “Good try, but maybe you should work on this next time.” Whatever it is, most of us like hugs as long as they are given with love and aren’t too creepy…aka–be nice, be constructive, and try not to let the hug get too touchy feely.

Anna Gorman Coy is a life savior. I hate her with such a passion that it can only be called love. Without her assistance, this book would have been almost completely passive. Okay, maybe not that much, but it sure seemed like it when I got the first round of edits back. I don’t think I could find another editor that would still consider me a friend if they read some of my work. I just <3 your face!

I didn’t mention her in my acknowledgements for Breathless Night, but I need to acknowledge my mother. Yes, my mother reads my books. She is the first one to read it, even before my wife, and the first one to start begging me for the next one. I have to admit that it can be a little awkward writing a sex scene and getting pointers from your mother, but hey, it works. She is an amazing woman that keeps me motivated to write more. Thanks Mom!

Victoria Escobar, my quiet little mouse of a friend, does more to motivate me than she will ever know. Being that we are both of the introvert personality we don’t talk often, but I get these little messages from out of nowhere asking how the book is going. Just those few words out of the blue are enough to keep me going on some nights when I don’t feel like writing.

My loving wife, as always, continues to support me. There have been many a nights the two of us sit in bed writing. That was a good majority of November for NaNoWriMo. I was able to win NaNo this year, and plan to do so every year that I participate. It’s great to have my wife writing beside me, even if we are in two different genres.

And for Jettie Necole, you don’t know how much you make me smile while motivating me to continue to write. I know that you will never get through one of my books, but each time you tell me that you are going to try some day it motivates me to write another one. I promise to write one that you can read, or at least get past the first chapter, one of these days.

I have to admit that I didn’t know where I was going with this book. It was a jumping point to get from Breathless Night to Breathless Struggle. Even with Breathless Night I didn’t know where I was going at first, but I tried to find a path along the way. This book had me feeling like I was wandering through the forest with only a machete and compass at times. I knew I would find a way to my destination, but I hoped I wasn’t losing anyone along the way. The next book has me where I wanted to be all along. I can’t wait to share it with everyone.

Finally, the reader. I always save the best for last. You are the reason I write. Whether it is ten of you, or one thousand, I write for you. I hope that you enjoy my story enough to continue reading. The next book is going to be a ride. It has been screaming at me for months. Part of me wanted to skip this book completely and get right to it. Part of it was originally going to be in this book, but it would have made it much longer. I hope you are ready. Keep your hands inside the car at all times, and let’s roll.
