About the Author

James Dale Davidson edits “Strategic Investment,” a well-regarded newsletter which predicted the Japanese Crash, the fall of the Berlin Wall, and the collapse of the Soviet Union. He was a founder of Agora with Bill Bonner and also a founder of the media outlet, Newsmax. He founded the nonprofit National Taxpayers Union, whose 300,000-plus members work for fiscal restraint and lower taxes. He is author of five previous books, including three with Lord William Rees-Mogg, former editor of the
Times
of London:
Blood in the Streets: Investment Profits in a World Gone Mad;The Great Reckoning: Protecting Your Self in the Coming Depression
(1994); and
The Sovereign Individual.

Davidson is the chairman of Ouro do Brasil Holdings.
