When Micah reached for his pants, Inigo caught him in the back of the knee, and his leg gave way.

“The chips can wait,” they both said at the same time.

Epilogue

For those who want to know—

Kit made a great king of West Land and married Maryse.

Blade and Beauty are expecting a foal any day. They hope for a girl with a horn.

Cavan is currently incarcerated in prison in a secret location and forced to knit blankets as therapy. No knitting needles allowed. He has to do it with his fingers.

Jago and Ellie went back to living happily ever after, especially after they discovered Ellie was pregnant. Triplets, but Jago doesn’t know yet.

Henry married Diane on this side. Flint married April on the other side. Ryn married Jayne, and they live with her father’s pack.

Hall apologized for his treachery and, for his sins, is now an accountant in Billinge.

Philip Minard, the vampire who treated Micah so badly, was tried by a supernatural court and ordered to do fifty years community service.

Asher decided to stay in Faerieland for a while. There were a couple of girls he liked the look of.

Micah’s mother and father stayed too.

Pixie is still looking for Mr. Perfect.

Micah found him. He and Inigo work for Roman putting both worlds to rights. Oh, and they married as well.

And Roman? Maybe he’ll have his own story to tell.

Barbara Elsborg

Barbara Elsborg lives in West Yorkshire in the north of England. She always wanted to be a spy, but having confessed that to everyone without them even resorting to torture, she decided it was not for her. Vulcanology scorched her feet. A morbid fear of sharks put paid to marine biology. So instead, she spent several years successfully selling cyanide. After dragging up two rotten, ungrateful children and frustrating her sexy, devoted, wonderful husband (who can now stop twisting her arm) she finally has time to conduct an affair with an electrifying plugged-in male: her laptop.

Her books feature quirky heroines and bad boys, and she hopes they are much fun to read as they were to write.
