“Wrong,” Moira replied at once and stuck her tongue out at him. “We were talking about all of you, so there.”

Brock and Joss both laughed right from their bellies, and even Callan chuckled quietly with a hand over his mouth. “I like you when you aren’t such a hard-ass, Mo.” Joss’s laughter cut off abruptly, and he held his hands up in surrender. “Sorry.”

“It’s fine, and I’m sorry for all the times I kicked your ass. Oh, and thanks for having my back. I have a feeling I’m going to need it covered as much as possible pretty soon.”

“Sooner than you think.”

Before she could inquire as to what Brock meant by that ambiguous statement, the sound of a large vehicle bumping down the driveway drew her attention. Eager to see Koba, she jumped over the coffee table and had her hand on the doorknob before someone grabbed her around the waist and jerked her away.

“Are you kidding me?” Joss manhandled her into a chair and groaned. “Do you like burning alive?”

“I forgot.” Moira pouted. “It’s kind of a recent condition, ya know.”

Brock, however, just smiled and extended a hand to help her up from the chair. “Go stand in the hallway until the door closes.” Then he popped her on the ass to get her moving.

“Neanderthal,” she grumped, but she did as directed.

“You love it.”

She did, but she wasn’t going to tell him that. His head was almost too big to fit through the door as it was, and she wasn’t going to pump up that already overinflated ego—even if his cocky attitude was sexy as sin.

“Cover up with this,” Joss mumbled to Callan, tossing a blanket over his head to cover his exposed skin.

Pressing her back to the wall, she took deep breaths and dug her fingers into the sides of her thighs to hold herself in place when she heard the door open. Once the door was closed, however, she burst out of the hallway like a guest at a surprise party.

“Koba!” Scrambling across the room, she shoved Casey out of the way and jumped, wrapping her arms and legs around her mate and clinging to him like a leech. “Oh, gods, are you okay? Are you hurt? What can I do?”

Koba nuzzled against the side of her neck and hummed happily. “Just this, kitten. This is all I need.”

“That’s all?” Brock asked as he sauntered up beside them.

“Yeah, I think I have everything,” Koba teased, even as he looped his arms around the back of Brock’s neck and pulled him into their embrace. “Damn, I missed this.”

It had been less than twenty-four hours, but Moira knew exactly what he meant. The fear of never seeing him again had made the time feel much longer, and she never
ever
wanted to experience it again.

“I don’t think we were followed,” Casey said, interrupting their moment. “You’d think they’d have already surrounded us.”

Brock’s phone chose that moment to ring, and Moira hugged Koba a little tighter. She had a good feeling she knew who was on the other end of that line.

“Who is this?” There was a brief pause, followed by Brock hanging up the phone and growling. “He says not to leave town. We’re being watched. If we try to run, they’ll take us down. As long as we stay right here, no one else will come.”

“Until the full moon,” Koba added.

“What happens on the full moon?” Why wasn’t anyone making any sense?

“I don’t know exactly. I overheard them talking, though. I guess Moira has been promised to Rip, but they need her for some reason on the full moon. Whatever it is, it’s not fucking happening.”

“Like the others,” Callan said from his place on the sofa between Casey and Joss. “There were others they wanted before her. They all kept dying, though.”

“Why did they want them?” What sick game had she just found herself in?

“I don’t really know. I didn’t see them, but I heard some of the others talking. The pale guy and the one with the scar are trying to make those weird hybrids like the ones that attacked you last night. The donors—that’s what they call them—keep dying, though, and there’s something wrong with the hybrids.”

“You said this pale guy looks and smells a little like me?” Moira wiggled down Koba’s body until her feet were on the floor, but she didn’t move far away from him. “Is there anything else you can tell me about him?”

“Just that he scares the hell out of everyone. No one crosses him.”

Swallowing hard, unsure if she truly wanted to know the answer, Moira lifted her hair away from her neck, showing off the small, star-shaped birthmark just below her ear. “Does he have a mark like this?”

Callan’s eyes went wide, his mouth fell open, and he nodded dazedly. “It’s lower on his neck and a little darker, but yes.”

Moira wanted a hole to open up in the floor and devour her. Her mother had called the little star the mark of the devil. It wasn’t until she was older that she realized “devil” meant her biological sperm donor.

Thinking everything that had happened was her fault and having it confirmed were two completely separate entities. Suddenly, there wasn’t a hole deep enough for her to crawl into and hide. She should have never allowed her mates to claim her. It wasn’t as though she hadn’t been warned. Her mother had told her time and again that her father would be able to sniff her out if she ever let the darkness in.

So, what did she do? She’d opened the door and strolled right into the dark like she had brass balls the size of Texas. If there was a prize for being the world’s biggest jackass, she’d have won in a landslide victory.

“Where are the rest of the guys?”

“Sleeping out on the porch,” she answered distractedly without even looking in Brock’s direction.

“You put them out on the porch?”

Did that even warrant a response? Moira didn’t think so. The team had eaten, showered, and shifted. Then they’d stood together at the back door until she’d opened it and let them out. If they didn’t want to sleep inside, she couldn’t force them.

“Well, if no one is coming to kill us tonight, I think I’ll take a nap.” Bitchy of her, yes, but she wasn’t feeling the most stable right then. Everything had been turned upside down in the blink of an eye, and none of it made sense to her anymore.

“I’ll go out to the deck with Jordan and Lyle.” Gatlan patted Koba on the shoulder on his way past and disappeared into the kitchen.

“We’ll torture the runt for more information,” Joss announced, laughing his fool head off when Callan looked like he’d swallow his tongue.

“Then I guess me and Brock will deal with the moody one.” With that announcement, Koba lifted Moira over his shoulder and swatted her ass when she started to wiggle. “Be still.”

“I wonder if we can make him beg. You up for it, Mo?”

Ceasing in her struggles, Moira looked up at Brock and grinned wickedly. “I can definitely get under that plan.”

“I’m pretty sure you mean ‘behind,’ darlin’.”

Moira’s grin grew even wider, and she shrugged as much as her position would allow. “Semantics.”

* * * *

There were a million and one things they needed to discuss and worry about, but another hour—or three—wouldn’t change anything. He had a couple of mates to shower attention on, and nothing and no one would distract him.

Stepping into the bedroom behind Koba, he kicked the door closed and began stripping out of his clothes. Just because they had time didn’t mean he planned to waste a second of it. “Naked. Now.”

“Don’t you use that alpha voice with me.” Moira talked a big game, but she was trembling from nose to toes as she wiggled her hips to remove her jeans.

“You can call me sir.”

“There are a couple of things I’d like to call you,” she mumbled under her breath.

Koba ignored them both, working to get his borrowed cargo shorts off with one hand while his other tugged on Moira’s shirt, popping the buttons open clear down to her navel. “Stop talking.”

A wave of energy went through the room, heating Brock from the outside in and making his dick rock-hard and throbbing in under a second. A loud, garbled groan rolled through his chest, and he nearly fell to his knees as arousal unlike anything he’d ever felt coursed through him.

Moira’s gasp ended in an erotic moan. Her legs shook violently, her head fell back on her shoulders, and she would have crumpled to the floor if Koba hadn’t caught her. Leaning against the door behind him, Brock fisted his cock in a firm grip and stroked slowly from base to tip, fully content to watch his lovers, paw, grope, lick, bite, and nip at each other.

When they’d finally reduced their clothing to nothing more than shreds, Koba grabbed Moira around the waist and swung her around so that she faced Brock. Then he placed a hand on her shoulder and applied pressure, urging her to her knees with a light growl when she momentarily resisted. Brock had never seen this side of the man before, but he hoped to bring it out more often in the future.

Another pulse of power slammed into him, different than the first but no less intense. Having claim to one omega had been hard enough. Add a second, and Brock was sure they were going to kill him.

Then the two currents spiraled together, each unique but coiling themselves into one. The cord of invisible energy wrapped around him, stole his breath, and made his eyes roll back in his head. Just when he thought he couldn’t take any more, Moira’s warm, moist mouth surrounded his cock. Her lips held a tight suction as they dragged up and down his length, taking a little more each time until the head of his cock nudged against the softness at the back of her throat.

Slamming his fists against the door, Brock squeezed his eyes closed and growled, trying his damndest to stave off the orgasm barreling down on him. His eyelids snapped open at the sound of Koba’s strangled groan, and he almost lost it as he watched the man grab Moira by the hips and feed his thick cock to her sweet pussy as he knelt behind her.

Uncurling his fingers, Brock rested a hand on the back of Moira’s head, encouraging her to move faster. The heat surrounding him licked at his skin, growing even warmer with the more pressure he applied. Cupping his girl’s chin in one hand and fisting her hair in the other, he rocked his hips, fucking her mouth with short, shallow thrusts.

Moira’s needy whimpers were muffled around the turgid flesh in her mouth, but her eyes held enough fire for a thousand deliciously dirty words. Brock’s balls rolled inside his tight sac, drawing closer to his body and heralding his impending climax. He didn’t want to come in her mouth, though.

Tugging gently but insistently, he pulled his cock from her lips with a naughty slurp and lowered to his knees on the carpeted floor at her side. Cradling Koba’s face, he pulled the man into a fervently passionate kiss, pouring every ounce of emotion he felt into the mating of their lips and tongues.

“I love you. So much.” The realization that he could have lost this forever was enough to make his throat burn and his gut tighten. “I’m glad you’re home.”

“Hey,” Koba whispered as he continued to thrust in slow, wavelike movements. “No one is going anywhere. Us three against the world, right?”

He pecked at Brock’s lips once more and eased out of Moira’s supple body. Then he stretched out on his back, pulling their vixen on top of him. “You, my little hellcat, are so very beautiful.”

“Mmm, and flattery will get you everywhere, Mr. Blackheart.”

Their playful repartee, the way they moved together, the smell of sex, sweat, and primal yearning—it all wrapped around Brock like a lover’s embrace, spiking his lust until it practically oozed from his pores. His wolf howled, pushed at him, and clawed his way to the surface until Brock wasn’t sure where he started and his wolf ended.

Straddling Koba’s thighs, he molded himself to Moira’s back, whispering his lips up the delicate curve of her neck while his hands traveled over her damp skin. “He’s right, you know. You are the most exquisite woman I have ever seen.”

“Make love to my ears later, Brock. It’s my body that requires attention right now.”

“And that’s why I love you.” Leaning against her back, he bent her forward as he gripped the base of his throbbing cock. He rubbed the tip along Koba’s slick shaft until he was poised at the clenching opening of Moira’s dripping cunt.

Holding her around the waist, he inched forward until the flared crown slipped into her tight heat alongside Koba’s cock, connecting the three of them, linking them as one. Moans, whimpers, and cries of ecstasy echoed around the room as he and Koba found their rhythm, alternating thrusts as their cocks slid together.

The faster and harder they pumped into Moira’s body, the louder she became, and the sounds spilling through her lips were too much for Brock. Each time she gasped his name or moaned for Koba to fuck her harder, it pushed him that much closer to the edge. Her inner walls convulsed around him, squeezing him, milking him, and making it that much harder to maintain control.

Reaching up, he placed his hand over Moira’s mouth to quiet her, but the action only seemed to spur her on. “Quiet,” he growled.

Instead of calming, Moira went wild. She jerked erratically, and though muffled, her screams were louder than ever. Koba’s thighs flexed between his, and he shuddered violently. His fingers linked with Brock’s where they rested on Moira’s waist, holding on in a white-knuckled grip.

Abandoning his attempt to quiet their girl, Brock went for a different tactic. Insinuating a hand between Moira’s legs, he found her swollen, pulsing clit with two fingers and rubbed small, fast circles over the hard nub. “Come for us, baby. Cream all over my cock.”

“Ah, fuck,” Koba groaned and went rigid, his back bowing up off the floor.

One down.

Moira bucked against him, impaling herself on his cock and screaming loud enough to wake the dead. Her drenched pussy grabbed his cock in a chokehold and squeezed, demanding his release whether he wanted to give it or not. With his lovers satisfied, there was nothing holding him back.

Gritting his teeth, he dropped his forehead to Moira’s shoulder and growled as cum jetted from his slit, filling her velvety depths and dripping down Koba’s softening cock.

“No more ganging up on me,” he panted.
