“Ha! Try and get rid of me.”
“I would never. Not after fighting for you. I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of you.”
She snuggled closer and willed her scales away. She didn’t want anything between them. This man, this vampire, had done something no other man or creature had been able to do before. He’d stolen her dragon’s heart, and she figured she might as well hand him her human one as well.
“So… You’re an author, eh?” Cilla nipped him. “Maybe it’s time for a little ‘research’. A pair of handcuffs here, a little blood sucking there, and we can top it off with the occasional ‘I love you’ for good measure.”
