Chapter Twelve

Alannah

No contact from Bonnie and nothing from Slade couldn’t distract me from
Cas. He hasn’t left since the club returned home on Sunday. He’d told me most of the brothers were taking a few days off with their families, and he considers me his family so that’s where he has stayed.

Billy has been disappearing often as
Cas and I haven’t been able to keep our hands off each other. Trying not to think about the sex, and trust me, there has been a lot of it, it is the normal, simple everyday tasks that are making me the happiest. Cooking together, laying on the sofa watching trash on TV while he soothingly strokes my hair, and the way he makes sure the cabin is secure of a night time, exactly the way a man of a house does with his family.

The last few days have been completely uninterrupted, until today, every member has been called in
for church, Cas assured me he hadn’t been told of any comebacks as of yet and not to worry. I was trying not to and up until Micky I hadn’t before, the guys are proper men who take care of business, hopefully in time my nerves wouldn’t dance on edge every time they left to deal with whatever.

Cas was in the shower while I hadn’t got up yet, staying in bed didn’t hold the same appeal as it does wh
en Cas is with me, eyeing his jacket and bandana draped across the back of the chair, I slid out of bed and grabbed them both, quickly making it back to the warm sheets. Listening out to make sure the water was still running, I unfolded the bandana and wrapped it around my bare chest fastening it to give me extra cleavage, it worked well with my black panties I had on. As I heard the water cut off, I slipped into his jacket and knelt on the edge of the bed, when he came back into the bedroom in nothing but his towel and bare chest glistening from water beads, he stopped dead in his tracks, his eyes widening at me, his mouth falling open.

“You sure I can’t tempt you to stay?” I said, trying to be seductive.

His dick promptly stood to attention, poking out the towel around him, he didn’t answer, within three strides he was on top of me, I had done well, he loved what he saw because he didn’t try and take the jacket off or his bandana. It didn’t take long before he was pouring into me and shaking.

“Fuck Lana,
every time I wear this all I’m gonna think of is your tits are on my face.”

I giggled into his chest, feeling proud of my creative efforts.

“Good.”

“You’re gonna
fuckin’ kill me baby.”

“That’s not my plan, I’m not finished with you ye
t.” I smirked.

“You’ll never be finished with
me.” he promised intensely, “Now, I really have to go.” he said, deftly pulling at the knot in the bandana at my back.

“So fuckin’ ho
t.” he mumbled getting off the bed.

My phone beeping startled me, no one apart from the Phone Company and Bonnie had contacted me,
I jumped up and hoped it was Bonnie.

‘Sorry
I’m a few days late but I’ll be there in half hour’

I jumped up and down excitedly, Bonnie is actually coming! And you can bet her
ass she is explaining what’s being going on with her lately.

I snatched a fresh pair of jeans, top and underwear from my draws before making a bee line for the shower.

Cas caught my wrist as I passed him to the door.

“What’s with the rocket up ya ass?”

“That was Bonnie, she’ll be here in half hour.” I squeaked.

His frown dampened my spirits, what did he have to frown about? It wasn’t like I wouldn’t be spending time with him too, especially when were alone of a night.

“What?”

“How you gonna explain havin’
Billy here?”

Thinking quickly, “I’ll tell her he’s my cousin visiting from out of tow
n.” I told him.

“I can’t wait for you to meet her, she is so sweet and don’t be telling Sparky she’s coming, otherwise we won’t get rid of hi
m.”

“How does he know her?”
he questioned.

“If he was a run or
close by he would visit me at college, he met her a couple of times, he flirted with her but she was usually too timid to respond.”

“He visited you?” he asked quietly.

“You didn’t know he did?”

He shook his slightly, “I
would’ve visited you at every opportunity if I could’ve.” he said, sadly.

“Hey, I’m here now and so are yo
u.” I assured him, standing up on my tip toes to kiss him.

“I know, okay, I’ll be back tonight bab
e. Stay indoors still, make up some shit if you have to if your friend wants to go into town.” he said, warningly.

“I wil
l.” I promised.

After one last kiss, he left and I jumped into the shower.

Billy was in the living room, I don’t when this happened but there was now a game console hooked up to the TV. I stood by the window on
lookout for Bonnie telling him about her coming today and that he was to pretend he is my cousin, he quickly agreed before returning his attention to his game.

“I hope she arrives soon, it’s beginning to sno
w.” I said, gazing out of the window.

This got Billy’s attention, “I should get the truck in the garage,
she can be temperamental in this weather.”

“I’ll get some dinner on while we wai
t.” I told him, leaving the lounge behind him.

I made a mental note to go shopping soon, the fridge is beginning to
look bare, dumping chicken and vegetables on the side, I heard too many car, no, van doors being slammed shut. I went through to the hall and was greeted with Billy being thrown through the front door. I screamed as the panic began setting in seeing bikers who weren’t Lost Souls fill the doorway, I ran for the stairs, halfway up I turned hoping Billy was behind me. He wasn’t, he was literally being jumped on by two men, big, fat, dirty biker men! Within seconds his face was covered blood. I screamed again and Billy’s head whipped round, he looked at me for just a few seconds before one of the men’s boot connected with his ribs.

He mouthed ‘Go’ before his eye
s squinted closed in pain.

What the fuck is going on? These aren’t the bikers I grew up with.

I ran the rest of my way to my room, but if Billy thought I was going to hide then he was wrong. I kicked myself, I should’ve of gone to the stash of weapons in the hall, then I remembered Cas moved one of the guns to my room, faster than ever I found it under my bed, loaded it and luckily my shaking hands held at bay long enough to do so because I turned to go when two different men to the ones I first saw came bursting into my room.

Without hesitation I knew this was survival and not just mine, Billy’s as well. I aimed and shot, one man went down, with
out stopping I aimed and shot at the second, he was much closer and I felt his blood spray over my face, I saw it on my hands. I didn’t give myself time to think about it, I ran to the stairs where the two fat men were still pummelling into Billy.

I screamed at them all the way till I got to the bottom
step. I pointed the gun at them and screamed for them to stop.

I’m not big and burly, I’m not muscular nor tall, but
them laughing at me pushed my anger to levels I never knew existed in me.

“Don’t be fuckin’ stupid bitch, put that dow
n.” biker one growled.

Blinking at his patch before holding his glare, he was the president of the Ghost Riders.

Fuck!

“Get away from hi
m.” I screamed.

“Who? Him?” he laughed, kicking Billy in his lower back.

“Leave him alone!” I screamed out and went to take a step towards him, then biker two came forward and I jumped back on the step.

“Look at ya
hands shakin’ you ain’t shootin’ shit.” biker one sneered.

I tensed my hands trying to calm down but it only made it worse, I looked to Billy, he was losing too much blood, looking back and forth between him and the men, I prayed they would just leave.

“I can’t believe those cunts let their women play with guns.” biker two said.

“Shoot the
m.” Billy choked, spitting blood from his mouth as he spoke.

“Shut the fuck up!” the president shouted, kicking him repeatedly.

My first reaction wasn’t to shoot him but to throw the gun down, I screamed for him to stop until I my throat felt raw with pain. It felt like a nightmare I sometimes have, where you’re trying to scream but no sound comes out. The throbbing in my throat told me I was screaming but it was like they couldn’t hear me.

It registered what I had done when he finally laid off him
, and he nodded to biker two for him to get me.

He
stepped forward and bless my friend, beaten to a bloody mess he summoned enough energy to get up and try to block the biker intent on grabbing me. It all happened so fast as the president pulled Billy away without using much force and threw him into the wall, I cried out as I couldn’t do anything but watch him slump to the floor, I screamed harder when I saw he wasn’t moving.

I didn’t care the
other biker was close to me, my friend was most likely dead on the floor in front of me and all because I didn’t shoot them.

“Shut her u
p.” the fat president snapped, hovering over Billy’s body.

I felt a hand fist into my hair and the next thing I knew I was swung round and he smacked my head into the wall.

It fucking worked, I shut up immediately, the shock he would do that scared me silent. He didn’t loosen his grip as he continued to pull me by my hair out to their van. Another biker opened the side door and I was thrown into their van, through my tears I could see the president still laying into Billy’s body with his big, black boots. If he wasn’t dead before, he will be now, no human body could sustain those injuries and recover.

He finished murdering my friend and joined us at the van, yet another biker came running up behind him.

“Prez, bitch musta killed Slug and Larry, there’s no one else in the house.” he told him.

His face contorted into the most horrific expression that I knew if I survived this, it would haunt me till the day I died.

What’s more, his silence made him more terrifying, the last thing I saw was his fist flying towards my head as he leant in towards me, then everything went black.

Chapter Thirteen

Cas

I parked my bike in the garage at the compound and checked my phone, twenty missed calls from Slade. What the fuck?

I jogged across the compound towards the clubhouse, the snow that had begun falling on the way back had stopped, thank god.

Once again, it looked like I was the last one here. My eyes darted to Slade’s usual spot at the bar, he was sitting without his laptop, in its place was his phone, mine begun ringing again, his name flashed up on the screen, I hit
reject and walked over to him.

“Why you
burnin’ up my phone brother?” I asked, leaning on the bar next to him.

“Why the
fuck haven’t you been answerin’ ya fuckin’ phone?” he asked, his voice booming across the room.

“I was on the road her
e.” I said, a bit taken back by his attitude towards me, “Care to explain what your problem is?” I asked.

“The other day Alannah asked me to check her friend ou
t.”

He
must be on about Bonnie?

“I guessed she was worried about her, anyway, it took some
diggin’ because her last name is different, none of us would’ve known, all that time she was at college right under our noses…”

He was babbling, this wasn’t going to be good, my mouth went dry in anticipation.

“And?” I hurried him.

“She’s Hunter Carson’s daughte
r.” he said, immediately followed up by necking the rest of his beer, “I called you because I ain’t stupid, I know when you’re not here, you’re with her.”

What were the chances of her being roomed with Alannah, both MC brats, rival MC brats?

“It’s a good job Bonnie flunked on her, you should tell Alannah not to have anythin’ to do with her.” he said.

I pulled out my phone to call her then
it hit me…

“Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!”
I yelled.

“What?” Slade said, jumping off the stool.

“It’s too late, Lana got a text before I left saying she was a half hour away.”

“Hunter’s daughter is on her
way to our Alannah’s place.” he asked, wanting to make sure he heard correctly, “Oh, this is not fuckin’ good, not good at all!”

I frantically call
Alannah’s phone, no answer.

I frantically call Billy’s phone, again, no answer.

Fuck taking this to the table, there is not one explanation that I can begin to understand for this Bonnie bitch to make friends with my girl, I would lay my life on the line to say she was being used and has been for a long time.

I faced my brothers, half of them already looking at us, I called out for silence. Michael came from out back wondering what was going on.

“Slade has brought some shit to my attention, while Alannah was at college she had a roommate, I’ve just found out that it was Hunter Carson’s daughter.” I told them all.

They began muttering all looking confused.

“This can’t be a coincidence, not with the Ghost fuckers. And, I know for a fact this bitch is on her way to the cabin, that’s if she ain’t already there.”

“Well
lets fuckin’ go.” Sparky roared, coming to stand in front of me, every man in the club buzzed with anger behind him.

I wouldn’t fucking ask them to go, I didn’t need to, they will follow, no questions asked.

Loyal to my girl, I fucking loved them for it.

I hadn’t spoken the words but none of my brothers were stupid, they knew she was my old lady and it was Michael coming between us.

I held Michael’s stare for a full minute before he nodded slightly and joined us as we left for our bikes.

Riding to the cabin was torture, hopefully the bitch wouldn’t have turned up again, or if she had, we would find them gossiping on the sofa. Fuck me, I better find her unharmed sitting on the fuckin’ sofa.

None of us truly expected what we saw when we pulled up to the cabin.

No other car around, the front door hanging off its hinges, pools of blood dripping down the porch steps and our prospect slowly dragging himself across the gravel towards his truck, looking like something out of a horror movie. You wouldn’t have been able to tell his race, he was covered in that much blood.

I was off my bike in a shot
, running to Billy. Everywhere was quiet, too quiet. Feeling dread on top of dread, I swore loudly dropping to the floor next to Billy.

“Pope, Oak, get
in the house and find Alannah.” Michael ordered, joining me next to Billy.

“She’s…not…ther
e.” he spluttered, blood pumping from his mouth with each word he spoke.

He had to be in an unquestionable amount of pain but I needed to know what happened.

“Billy, tell me what went down?” I pleaded.

I had every weakness on show, it was written on my face and could be heard in my shaking voice.

“Told her…to go…she came…back…didn’t shoot…them.”

Shoot them? She knew her way around a gun for sure but it wasn’t who she was.

“How many were there?” I asked, frantic for more information.

“Too many…just me…she…tried to…save m
e.”

That wasn’t hard to believe, we all had told her she was going soft.

“Ghost fuckers…got her…I couldn’t…save her.” he said, spluttering out more blood.

“Okay, okay.
I get it man. We’ll get you to the Doc, you’ll be fine.” I told him. I wasn’t being true, he wasn’t going to live to see another day, I’ve seen some sick shit in my time, but this takes the piss.

“I’m sorry…get her…bac
k.”

“T
ry not to talk brother.” I urged him, he had to have been using all his strength.

He smiled, showing his blood stained teeth.

“Brother.” he whispered.

“Your loyalty to my girl has cost you your life, one man on god knows how many, you ne
ver stood a chance. You’re dyin’ a Lost Souls brother.”

There was no point in trying to hide his fate from him
anymore, we all know he stood no chance of surviving.

He choked on his blood one last time before his head rolled to the side of my arm.

Choking on my own fear, I placed him back on the gravel and stood staring at the sky.

“Michael, you better get ya ass in
‘ere.” Oak shouted from the top window.

I was running before Michael was, Oak was in Alannah’s bedroom.

Taking the stairs two at a time, I near enough flew to her room.

Cold on the floor was two Ghost Rider fucks, dead. One had a bullet in his skull and the other had a bullet in his chest.
Why the fuck didn’t they take their dead with them?

I dropped to the floor checking under the bed, the gun I left there for her was gone. I knew my girl could shoot, but her aim under pressure was out-fuckin’-standing.

Sparky was the first to speak as he checked their patches, everyone else couldn’t take their eyes off the dead bodies on the floor.

She managed to get rid of Larry and Slug, Hunter’s VP and nephew.” he whistled.

“That ain’t good for her, Hunter is goin’ to be out for her blo
od now, him and his VP go way back.” Slade said.

I couldn’t handle this anymore, I lashed out, kicking and punching anything I made contact with, when that wasn’t enough I started kicking the
lifeless bodies on the floor. Sparky and Oak pulled me out onto the landing. When I saw Michael leave the room, I rounded on him, not giving a fuck what he knew about us anymore.

“This is your fuckin’ faul
t.” I shouted, “You used a piss poor reason to put her here and made yourself feel better by leavin’ a prospect here!”

“Calm down
Castiel.” he said.

“Fuck off. I
f she doesn’t come back then neither do you.”

I wasn’t fucking about with threats either, he understood it was a promise.

I barely heard the gasps bouncing around the small landing that currently was where all brothers were standing.

“Listen Ca
s.” he said, raising his voice, “If she has her phone on her, we can track her.” he informed us.

Without thinking why he would go to the trouble of having her bugged, I turned to Slade.

“Search the place, see if her phone is here.”

He disappeared down the stairs while I shrugged out of Sparky and Oak’s grip.

No one moved as I got in Michael’s face.

“You have my loyalty and my blood when it comes to the club and my brothers, but I’m tellin’ you now, Lana is my old lady and I’m gonna kill anyone who gets in my way
bringin’ her home.” I told him.

He swallowed hard and nodded.

Until Alannah was home in my arms and every fucker who had a part in taking her was dead and in the ground, I couldn’t give a fuck about the club ranking. She is my woman and I’ll say how it goes down getting her back.

I would’ve expected the others to speak up, but as I looked from brother to brother, they remained silent, they gave me their loyalty and nodded.

“Pope, Oak, you two take care of the bodies, their blood is on Lana and I don’t want no comebacks on her. Then take our brother Billy back to the club.”

They
both agreed and left as Slade came up the stairs.

“Her phone ain’t her
e.” he said, noticing the difference in the air around us.

“That’s good, get to the club and get on that fuckin’ machine of yours. Find he
r.”

He left, everyone else remaining were waiting on me to give them orders.

“The rest of us will head back and call every brother in the fuckin’ area, we’re goin’ to war, and we’re not comin’ back till their all dead in the fuckin’ ground!” I bellowed.
