His hands grabbed my hips and he began to move me faster.  Taking his lead, I lifted slightly as I rocked up, causing him to hiss.

“Fuck that feels so good, Cora.”

I smiled, loving that I could bring him the same pleasure, and repeated the motion as I moved a little faster. I felt my own pressure build once more and I let out slight moans as I pumped my hips back and forth, lifting up each time and slamming back home.  I leaned forward a bit and used his shoulders as balance as I let his hands move my hips faster.

He pushed his hips upward and I knew that I couldn’t hold on any longer.  My whole body shook as my orgasm washed over me.  He pushed my hips faster and pumped his up and down as I continued to ride my orgasm, crying out at the intense pleasure.  I sat up and placed my hands on his chest, watching him near his release. Watching his face as his whole body tensed, a low growl escaping out of him as he thrust up hard one last time and released into me.

I collapsed on top of him, completely satisfied and spent, my whole body tingling from the three intense releases.  He maneuvered me next to him and wrapped his arms around me.

I blinked, suddenly aware of the morning sun shining through the sheers, turning over thinking to find Breccan there, but all that was there were the rumpled sheets and an empty space.

I sat up, realizing that my robe was still cinched tight, that my body was not sore like it should be, and there was no lingering smell of sex in the room. I frowned.

My amazing night with Breccan wasn’t so amazing. It was only a dream.

Chapter Seven

Cora

As disappointed as I was when reality crashed that it was only a dream, I was still flushed from how vivid it felt, and more rested than I had been in weeks. Stretching, I called out for Breccan, but he didn’t respond. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a small handwritten note that was placed on the pillow beside me. I picked up the thick stationary and read.

                            Cora,

I was called away early to reshoot a scene. I have placed private security outside the suite that shall accompany you to anywhere you wish to go. You are safe, I assure you. Room service is available to get you anything you wish. I’ll see you soon.

Yours, Breccan

I wrinkled my nose. That was odd. Breccan wasn’t due on set at all today. I set the note down, trying not to be too disappointed that he’d left, or read too much into the “yours” at the end of the note. My very full bladder was begging for relief, so I cinched my robe tighter and headed to the bathroom, where I brushed my teeth again and washed my face before heading back into the bed, not quite ready to face the world yet.

I found the remote for the television and turned it on, flipping through the channels hoping to find a nice movie to get lost in for a few hours. As I scrolled, a photo of Jude flashed on the screen. I dropped the remote, frozen at the image on the screen as I listened to what the broadcaster said.

“Canadian tourist Jude Bourdeaux was found brutally beaten this morning in front of a local butcher shop. Authorities confirm that Mr. Bordeaux has been listed in critical condition at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, though sources tell us he’s not expected to survive. The Canadian embassy also confirmed that Mr. Bordeaux was here on a work visa issued by a private company, but wouldn’t release any further information.  So far, no suspects have been named, but police sources close to the investigation have told us that they have a witness and that an arrest warrant will be issued this afternoon….”

My jaw dropped. When Breccan and I left, there was no way he was in critical condition. No where close. Knocked out, yes, but not that bad. Had… had Breccan gone back and found him? To finish what he started—for me?

And the police were issuing a warrant. My mind reeled.

Oh my god.

Breccan Landry was about to arrested for attempted murder.

Because of me.
