A week went by. Alex was in her office, up on tiptoe, as she tried to reach a switch set high into the wall. She heard someone clearing their throat and spun to see Devon and Jeff staring at the exposed skin at her waist where her shirt had ridden up. Their faces were taut and intent. She yanked her shirt down.

“What…I didn’t hear you at the door.”

“Sorry, I guess you were preoccupied,” said Devon, walking past her to reach up and flip the switch. Cool air immediately flooded the room.

“Thank you,” Alex breathed.

She never thought she would see them, either of them, again. She had put Detective Staples’s card in her desk drawer but couldn’t think of anything to tell him should she call. Her dreams had been full of both of them whispering erotic things in her ear, touching her body. Twice she had awoken to her hand rubbing frantically between her legs. She didn’t even really know how to masturbate for heaven’s sake, but their handsome faces and muscular builds starred in her fantasies.

Alex had lived in a foster home until she was six, with a strict religious family who told her nothing about her body other than it belonged to God. She had wondered when God was going to come and take her body, dimly associating it with a child’s perspective of death. Alex was always covered in layers of clothing and bathing was a quick process to allow for no lingering over body parts.

Her foster family cared about her in their own way. She knew they did, but love and nurture were conspicuously absent. Alex was sent to a convent school after kindergarten via the charity of the church her foster family attended. She had little to no experience with the opposite sex, though heard varying stories from the other girls. She got along with everyone, sunny-natured and even-tempered, unless roused to intervene for the underdog or when her inner demon roused, but had no personal experience in the nature of a relationship. Alex craved love and acceptance without really knowing she did, but it was uncomfortable and she built a defensive wall around her inner self, defending against the unknown. She didn’t need to experience romantic pain to protect herself from it and might have become a nun except for an abiding obsession that developed in the eighth grade. Alex discovered the science of fossils and other dead things from the distant past. She had no real family, no close friends, but the past called to her and absorbed her and somehow made it okay.

Jeff’s voice broke in on her thoughts. “We thought we’d ask you to lunch, Alex.”

“Me?” she stuttered.

“You,” confirmed Devon, visibly struggling with amusement.

Alex felt that demon of temper awake within her at his expression and quashed it as she was so apt to do. “Thanks, but I have things to do and no time today.”

Oh, God, why had she said today? Like she was hoping they’d ask again. Who was she kidding? She wanted to go for lunch with them another time, any time. She wasn’t doing that playing hard to get thing she knew the other women in the department were adept at, and she really was busy. They stepped closer to her, and she involuntarily took a step back, coming up against her desk. Alex had a crazy urge to grab one and kiss him and then do the same thing to the other. She wrestled with herself and watched in awe as they closed the gap. She found herself staring into Jeff’s eyes from close range, and then, without blinking, he touched his lips to hers. She shut her eyes and let her lips part against his pushing tongue. He gathered her to him and deepened the kiss. She felt another hand stroke her hair and release the clip, allowing the heavy weight to fall down her back. Alex had been taught that failing to cut her hair was vanity, but while she forwent makeup and other fripperies, she kept her hair long. The only picture she had of her mother showed her hair long and flowing, the same color as Alex’s locks, and she resisted the nuns’ suggestion that she cut it. As she felt it slide down her back, she shivered with the sensation, coupled as it was with Jeff’s mouth on hers, claiming her.

Devon’s hands slipped under her shirt and up her back, stroking and caressing her. Alex felt him release the hooks of her bra and came back to herself. She pushed away from Jeff and he caught her hands.

“Something the matter, darlin’?” he asked.

“This is inappropriate, Detective Staples, Detective Rust,” she answered in as firm a voice as possible.

“Nothing that felt that good could be inappropriate, honey,” said Devon. “And I’m Devon, and that’s Jeff. I think we’re on a first name basis now, Alex.”

Alex shook her head and scurried around her desk, holding on to the back of her chair. “Please leave. I have work to do.”

Devon went toward the door, only to lock it and close the blind. Alex’s pulse shot up, and her breathing increased. She didn’t think they would rape her, and somehow she wasn’t afraid of them, but this was so out of her league.

“We won’t do anything you don’t want us to, honey,” he affirmed, “But we couldn’t stop thinking about you and figured we’d check in and ask you if you’d been thinking about us.”

Alex’s gaze darted between the two of them, now standing silent but resolute in her office. “I don’t know what you mean. Why would I be thinking about you?”

Jeff was at her side in an instant. “We don’t do lies, darlin’, as you’ll come to learn the hard way if you persist in lying to us. There’s something called chemistry, Alex, and you felt it, too, when we met last week.”

Alex didn’t contradict him, and Jeff sighed with relief.

“But there’s two of you,” she choked out.

“We’re partners, Alex,” Jeff answered, “best friends at work, and in bed.”

She felt her face stiffen, and she started to shake. Jeff instantly pulled her from behind the chair and cradled her against him, sitting down and holding her on his lap until she quit shaking. He leaned down to kiss her again, and she opened her mouth for him. His arms tightened around her, restricting the use of her hands. Devon knelt at her feet, sliding his hands up her legs and to the waistband of her jeans. Jeff kept her silent, eating at her mouth and keeping her arms from interfering with Devon. Devon unfastened her jeans and pulled them down to her knees, lifting her buttocks with one hand. Alex felt the air conditioning on her bare legs and pulled her mouth from Jeff’s.

“You need to stop it. I can’t, and I never…” Her protests became faint as Devon slid his hand into her panties and laid it over her mound.

She could actually smell her own arousal and knew it would be obvious to them. She cursed the heat in her cheeks but Jeff immediately distracted her with another devastating kiss. She laid her head back on Jeff’s shoulder and moaned as he turned her so that her upper body now lay flat on his chest, facing outward. He secured her wrists in one hand and slid the other up under her shirt, seeking her breasts. Alex whimpered as his fingers rolled her nipples, pulling and tugging her breasts away from her body, alternating his movements. Devon’s murmurs of encouragement and gentle petting reassured her, and then he slid her underwear off, pushing her legs apart in the same action. He tucked her ankles around Jeff’s legs and settled between her thighs. Alex couldn’t begin to process her thoughts and feelings, let alone the sensation of Devon’s mouth pressing against her vulva.

Devon’s tongue pierced the opening to her pussy, and Alex’s mouth opened on a scream.

“Gag her, for God’s sake, Jeff,” he said. “She’s a screamer, and she’ll bring the whole department running.”

Jeff released his hold on her nipple and his hand came up to cover her mouth. Alex huffed into his palm, her nipples already regretting the loss of his touch. Devon lapped through the folds of her labia and then turned his attention to her clitoris. He suckled the distended flesh, pushing back the hood, and then sucked it hard against his palate. Jeff ordered her to open her eyes and look at him, and Alex came hard in the first orgasm of her life, her body bowing up to meet Devon, her screams muffled by Jeff’s hand, somehow keeping her eyes focused up at Jeff’s.

“Holy fuck, Jeff,” Devon asked. “Was that what I thought it was?”

“Alex, was that the first time for you, darlin’?”

Alex nodded her head, eyes now ground shut, bottom lip quivering.

“Baby girl, there is so much we want to teach you and have you experience,” Jeff spoke softly in her ear. “Will you give us the chance?”

He sat her up in his lap then helped her stand while Devon slid her panties back on and then her jeans. He palmed her breasts through her shirt, not bothering to fasten her bra as he cuddled with her and awaited her response. Alex was bemused and overwhelmed. She would probably go straight to hell for this, but she felt like a kid in a candy store who had just tasted chocolate for the first time.

“If you want to,” she answered.

Jeff and Devon chuckled.

“Oh, we want to, Alex,” confirmed Devon. “Give us your address, and we’ll come see you around seven tonight.”

“I have two roommates,” Alex said.

“Then we’ll pick you up at seven. Pack a bag so that we can bring you back here to work on Monday. Oh, and Alex? We are control freaks in the bedroom, so think about that.”

Alex took a deep breath and nodded. For sure she would go to hell for this, but she was going to step out of her good-girl role for once. She had been missing something all this time.

Devon and Jeff kissed her briefly in turn. Devon turned at the door and said, in a deep, commanding voice, “No touching yourself, Alex,” and left with Jeff.

Wondering what that was all about, Alex made her way to the bathroom and did her best to tidy her dishevelled appearance. She hardly recognized the woman peering back at her from the mirror. That woman looked happy and full of anticipation, unlike the calm, persistent bone seeker from a week ago. Alex decided then and there to take an early day in order to go buy some sexy underwear and a nightgown for the weekend ahead. She put a note on her office door, grabbed her purse and cell phone, and locked up early for the first time in her life.

Chapter Two

“She’s too good to be true, buddy,” stated Devon to Jeff as they drove back to the station. “We are two lucky men.”

“We can’t push her too fast, Dev,” cautioned Jeff. “She’s special, and I don’t want her to run from us once she knows our kink and how dominant we are.”

Devon shrugged. Jeff knew that Devon had lots of faith in his ability to win a woman over, and Jeff was always there to keep the edges soft.

“I mean it, Devon.” Jeff’s voice took on an edge. “This feels like the real deal, and I’m not going to lose her.”

Devon hesitated, and Jeff could almost read his thoughts. Devon was worrying that this woman might come between them. His friend replied, “I hear you, Jeff. Keep me honest.”

They continued in silence for a while, lost in their own thoughts, and then Jeff asked quietly, “What did she look like, Devon?”

“Pink like those roses Mrs. Winters grows next door, and her clit is a shade darker. And she tastes kinda sweet and fresh all at once,” Devon replied with a chuckle, never taking his eyes off the road. “I put one finger in, Jeff, and it didn’t go past the knuckle,” he continued. “I’ve never had a virgin before, but seems there’s a chance and I didn’t want to push it.”

“No shit. So then her ass is cherry, too. One for each of us.”

“You forgot that mouth, Jeff,” Devon answered. “Guess we’ll play for that one. And I kinda like the blonde curls, but I think we should just leave a little ruffle right on top of her. I want nothing between us and her pussy lips.”

Jeff laughed and thought about all the games he and Devon had played over the years. Who would get to shave her? Who would be first to get blown? Maybe they could see who could make their girl come the most often in a time-specific period. The winner would get sucked off. Or maybe they would blindfold her and have her taste them alternately and play guess who. She would earn a punishment for every time she got it wrong, followed by a reward. He wanted to get to know Alex, too, though. It didn’t feel like it was going to be just about the sex. He wanted the whole package for him and his friend. Life was good.
