She swallowed hard, feeling that strong connection to Terrance as well as a sexual pull. Her pussy tightened, and she had flashbacks of last night and making love to him and Jacque.

“A group of us are heading into the Quarter to hand out flyers and make women aware of the potential danger.”

He squinted his eyes at her as if he were thinking about saying something then changed his mind.

“Who’s going?” he asked.

“Who’s going where?” Jacque chimed in, coming down the hallway. Terrance released her and stepped aside so they could all head into the kitchen. She spoke aloud to them as they walked.

“Elle, some other friends, and Jerry with a few of his friends.”

Jacque looked at Terrance, and Terrance just remained staring at her with that same fierce expression she was learning to adjust to, despite the way it made her belly tingle and her nipples harden. She pretended to scratch an imaginary itch on her left shoulder as she used her arm to press softly against her right breast in hopes of easing the arousal.

“I don’t know if that’s such a good idea, baby,” Jacque said as he placed the platter of eggs and sausage down on the table. She wasn’t sure why he said that. Didn’t he understand why she needed to do this?

Jacque took her hand and brought it up to his lips. He kissed her knuckles as he looked down into her eyes. She felt that pull of awareness, both sexual and intimidation. She could easily allow such big, tall, dominant, older men like Terrance and Jacque to tell her what to do and lead her in life, but that wasn’t who she was. Angelina was quite independent.

“I need to do something to help. This is a good idea because it could save other women’s lives. Plus, someone might recognize Vera or have more information that could help.” She sat down at the table and prepared to make her plate after glancing at the clock.

“It’s not your job. You’re not a cop or detective,” Terrance stated. She thought he sounded kind of annoyed or as if she were being juvenile with her idea. She placed her fork down and looked at him.

“I’ve been taking care of myself for quite some time. I’ll be with a group of people, not alone.”

“We’re just worried because of what happened,” Jacque said. She felt her anger getting the better of her.

She threw down her fork and leaned back in the chair, crossing her arms in front of her.

“Great! So how long will you be throwing this back into my face?”

“I’m not throwing anything in your face. You’re our responsibility and our woman now. We want to know where you are and who you’re with at all times. Plus, in the wake of recent events, we want to take extra precautions.”

“I said I wouldn’t be alone, and for the record, I am not your responsibility. Either of you.” She glanced at both Terrance then Jacque.

“All right, damn it, I don’t want you going because I know that Jerry has the hots for you and so do half his friends. They’ve been talking about you at the gym and I overhead a few conversations in the past.”

He was jealous and his admission seemed to irritate him.

She licked her lips and he followed the movement of her tongue.

“I don’t like Jerry as anything other than a friend. That goes for Ryder and his buddies at the gym. If this relationship we’re starting is going to work, then you need to trust me. After all, I waited to share my virginity with you and your brothers. Doesn’t that count for trustworthiness at all?” She lifted up her fork, stabbed a piece of egg, and took a bite as she held his gaze.

He hadn’t said a word or responded at all. Neither did Jacque as they ate breakfast in silence until Terrance spoke.

“What time do you get off work tonight?”

“Seven.”

“How long are you planning on staying in the Quarter with your friends?” he asked, emphasizing the word friends.

She looked at him and smiled. “As long as it takes, but probably only until midnight. I have to be at the restaurant for a delivery early tomorrow morning.”

“I would appreciate it if you would touch base with us as the night goes on. If you need us or if you feel any concerns, call one of us right away and we’ll get to you.”

“Thank you, Jacque. I will. Why don’t you give me your and Terrance’s cell phone numbers so I can place them into my cell phone? On speed dial of course,” she added, having to get the last word in. She tried to hide her giggle as she got up, but Jacque grabbed her. Terrance took her plate from her hands and Jacque pulled her into his arms so she had to straddle his waist.

“You’re a real wiseass, Lina,” he stated with his hands on her waist.

“It must have something to do with my age.”

She felt one of his hands glide toward her ass and cover it while he pushed his other hand up her shirt and cupped her breast.

“Sometimes little girls need a spanking when they’re naughty.”

She nearly moaned from his words and the feel of his hard, large hands on her ass and breast.

“Kiss me, and I’ll let this one slide.”

He didn’t have to ask her twice as she ran her fingers through his hair and kissed him hard on the mouth. He squeezed her to him until they both needed to catch their breath.

She held his gaze.

“You’ll call us, right?”

“I promise.”

Mike, Tye, Lucifer, Leon, Mike Fromm, and Eloi gathered around the office at Dominate. It was Monday late afternoon, and they were discussing updates in the latest missing women’s case.

“So what’s the deal? There has to be some kind of concrete information about this. I mean these abductions have been going on for months around Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Texas, and Kansas. Aren’t the feds involved yet?” Mike Bouchet asked Michael Fromm.

He took a deep breath and exhaled. “Yeah, they’re onto it. This is what I have so far, and it took a lot of pull just to get this much information.” Mike took a deep breath and shared a concerned look with Leon and Eloi.

“Word is, agents are investigating an international smuggling cartel.”

“What, like drugs, guns, and women?” Tye asked.

“In regards to the current abductions, it’s about women,” Mike Fromm replied. They all were silent a moment as if absorbing the information, but Mike Bouchet wanted answers. This situation had caused his brothers needless aggravation with their club, and more importantly they could have lost Angelina to one of these thugs.

“He’s talking about the sex slave business,” Lucifer stated firmly.

Mike’s eyes widened, and then his heart began to race as he thought about Angelina and now Vera, who was missing.

“Son of a bitch. Who are these assholes?” Tye asked.

“That’s what the feds and the local detectives are still working on. We need more evidence and to identify one of these guys who is doing the taking. If we can get our hands on one, we could hopefully question them and deal with this situation accordingly,” Mike Fromm replied.

“The guy who drugged Angelina? Do you think he was working for the operator of this cartel?” Lucifer asked as he clenched his teeth and cracked his knuckles. Mike watched him. His brother was the biggest and most crazy son of a bitch out of all of them. Lucifer was upset right now.

Michael Fromm nodded his head and a series of muffled curses went through the room.

“What can we do to help find these assholes?” Tye asked.

“Not much, Tye. The investigators are on it. The good thing is that Vera put up a fight and there were witnesses that could identify the one Asian guy who pulled her back into the car. I would suggest doing what you can to up the cameras and surveillance outside, inside, and around the club. That way if anything was to happen here again, your team of security could intervene and perhaps stop a possible situation before it’s too late.” Mike Fromm stood up and grabbed his stuff.

“I have to head over to Orchidea to pick up Mikayla. I’ll keep you all updated if there’s more information. Thanks for the dinner,” Mike said, and they all said good-bye.

The others sat there talking about the club and things they could do to provide better security.

Mike and Tye looked at Lucifer as he stood up and paced near the window.

He suddenly turned toward them.

“Are Terrance and Jacque still with Angelina?” he asked.

“They headed out hours ago when she was at Aubert’s,” Eloi replied.

“Can you text her or call her and make sure that she’s all right?” Lucifer asked.

“Terrance said she promised to call when she was finished at work,” Tye said.

“I’m headed back there now. I’ll make sure she gets home safely,” Leon said then rose from the chair. Eloi followed. “We’ll stay on top of this on our ends, too. Talk to you guys tomorrow.” They left.

Mike, Tye, and Lucifer were the last ones in the room.

“I don’t like this. I don’t like how they went after Angelina, failed, then just happen to take Vera. How the hell is that a coincidence?” Lucifer asked.

“It does seem odd, but by the rate they were taking women, it could have been a coincidence. Besides, the detectives seemed to think that these guys are taking orders for certain types of women. You know hair color, eye color, body types,” Mike said.

“Great, look at Angelina’s body. She’s a fucking knockout, with long ebony hair, dark blue eyes, and a set and a half on her. Fuck, I don’t like this either.”

“Well, Terrance and Jacque made major progress with her last night. She now knows we all want a relationship with her, so let’s start getting to know our woman. We’ll call Terrance and tell him to bring her here tonight,” Tye said

“I’m going to be worried about her until she’s right here next to me,” Lucifer stated.

“Then let’s ensure her safety and call Terrance now,” Mike said as he flipped open his phone.

Angelina threw on a pair of black hip-hugger jeans and a purple camisole with a sheer matching purple blouse with beading along the buttons. She decided to wear her black boots even though she, Elle, Jerry, and the others were going to be doing a lot of walking. She grabbed her cell phone and a sweater, knowing that she promised to call Terrance and Jacque before she left, but then she heard the horn honking outside. Jerry and Elle were there.

She locked her door and ran down the steps. Elle was in the backseat.

“You could have sat in the front.” She slid into the black Mustang GT. Jerry smiled and Elle rolled her eyes as Angelina put her seat belt on.

“Someone made me promise to let you sit up front with him,” Elle mumbled and Angelina felt her cheeks warm. She glanced at Jerry, and he looked annoyed that his sister had shared his little plan of being close to her.

He backed the car up and headed out of Orchidea while she texted Terrance.

“Are you texting one of the Bouchets?” Elle asked as she leaned forward with a huge smile on her face.

Angelina nodded her head.

“They’re kind of old for you, aren’t they?” Jerry asked.

“Jerry, you’re almost as old as they are. You’re like three years younger than Jacque,” Angelina told him.

“Thirty-one is closer to twenty-six than thirty-four,” he snapped back at her.

“Well, age doesn’t matter when it’s true love and meant to be. Isn’t that right, Angelina? Or should I call you Lina, like Jacque does,” Elle teased, and Angelina chuckled.

“He calls you Lina?” Jerry asked.

“Can we talk about something else besides my love life?”

“Love life? Oh yeah!” Elle clapped her hands. Angelina was so embarrassed. Vera and Elle knew she was a virgin and wanted to wait. They also knew she was willing to wait on the Bouchet men if necessary but they had been running out of time. She was glad they finally admitted feelings for her. She was so nervous about seeing the others now that she’d slept with Jacque and Terrance.

“You slept with them? All of them?” Jerry asked.

“Excuse me, but that is not your business either. Now, can we focus on our game plan for tonight?” she asked as her phone chimed, indicating that she had another message.

“Sure, as soon as your men are done checking up on you,” Jerry replied and then he laughed.

She wondered why Jerry was being so obnoxious.

She glanced down at her cell and read the message. They wanted to get together tonight after she passed out flyers. Jacque would pick her up wherever she was.

She texted back that she would call Jacque then closed up her phone. They all wanted to see her tonight.
Oh God, this is so crazy. What am I thinking?

She felt her belly quiver and her mind began to wonder about the possibilities of being alone with such experienced and sexy men. It had been intense enough being alone with Jacque and Terrance, but now it was all five of them, including Lucifer, who everyone thought had the worst Cajun temper this side of the Mississippi.

Oh Lord, I better get ready for this.

It had been two hours since they arrived and started handing out flyers and talking to women walking through the French Quarter. Angelina was shocked at how many people, including women, had no idea about the abductions or had even seen anything on the news. She figured that people would have to watch the news to learn about cases like this.
