A taste of things to come:

He led me quickly through the restaurant, until we came to a tiny hallway with just one solid, highly-polished door. He opened it on what looked like a cross between an office and a private dining room, a slab of a table dominating the space with all of its mahogany splendor. Randall ushered me in and closed and locked the door behind us, pulling me into his arms. “This is not
quid pro quo
, Jasmine,” he murmured, brushing his lips against my ear. “You are not required to do anything. But I can tell you’re turned on, aren’t you?” I nodded slowly, my mouth dry and my heart pounding. Randall ran his hands all over me, cupping my breasts for a moment before moving down to my hips. His lips barely touched mine, sending a tingle through my body straight to my pussy, intensified by my desire and anxiety. “You’ll have to be very quiet. We are secluded, but I can’t guarantee that sound won’t travel.” Randall kissed me deeply, his tongue probing my mouth until I was breathless. His hand slipped up underneath the hem of my dress and I moaned softly against his lips as he cupped my sex, running his fingers teasingly over the slick folds.

Chapter One

“Matthew,” I cooed, hovering over my boyfriend and grinning as he slept. We were supposed to be going out later in the evening, but Matt had fallen asleep on the couch after we’d fooled around. “Wake up sleepy head! I want to go out.” I had changed into my favorite dress and heels; if Matt hurried, he could get ready in time for us to grab dinner before going to our favorite bar. I gave his shoulder a shake and Matthew groaned, opening his eyes after a moment and grinning sleepily at me.

“Why don’t we just order delivery and stay in and fool around some more?” he asked, reaching out to pull me down with him. I laughed, dancing out of his reach.

“Uh-uh, you promised!” I reminded him playfully, giving him a poke to the ribs. “Come on, lover boy, get dressed and we’ll go out, and you can fool around with me all you want later.” Matthew yawned and stretched, sitting up finally.

His phone chirped, and I picked it up to hand it to him; glancing at it in mild curiosity when I saw something that demanded a longer look.
When are you coming over to turn me out, sexy?
Instead of handing the phone to him I stared at it for a long moment, my heart hammering in my chest. “What’s this?” I asked, looking from the phone to my boyfriend. “‘When are you coming over to turn me out, sexy?’” The message disappeared as the phone went back into hibernate mode and I pressed the home button to bring it back. The display showed the name ‘Paola’ as being the sender of the message. “Who the hell is Paola?” I extended the phone toward Matthew for him to see. I watched as the color drained from his face before coming back with a vengeance, turning his cheeks bright red. I’d never snooped on my boyfriend’s phone before, but that was all it took for me to open his text messages; Matthew didn’t keep a passcode on his phone, so there was no obstacle. He and this Paola had been texting each other for weeks; something I saw in a span of about a minute, flipping through the back-and-forth. They had been meeting a couple of times a week, and their messages to each other left no doubt as to what the meetings were for.

“Listen, Jasmine, I know what it looks like—” Matthew started. I looked up from the phone, my blood roaring in my ears as I saw red.

“I should hope you know what it looks like, because it’s pretty obvious what it is!” I shouted, anger coming over me all at once. My mind seemed to be working at lightning speed, thinking of the times that Matthew had canceled on date night, when he had said he would come over but had told me just before that he had to take care of his mom, or go into work early the next day, or made some other excuse. He had been sleeping around with this other woman—whoever she was—and I had actually felt bad for him! “Get the hell out of my house, you stupid bastard.” Matthew moved to find his shirt and I kicked at his shins. “Now! Get out!” He stood and dashed for the door and I followed him, not quite finished with what I had to say, his cell phone still in my hand.

He went through the front door, half-naked, with me hot on his heels. “Who the hell is she, Matthew? What the hell is your problem?” I said as he stopped outside of my door. I was so angry that I barely noticed that we had an audience consisting of two men looking under the hood of an expensive looking limo on the other side of the street. They both stared in my direction as I continued my rant. “You know, it’s bad enough that you’re enough of an asshole to cheat on me, but I’m insulted that you’d be so stupid as to not even take any precautions against me finding out!” I waved the phone in his face. Matthew looked so hangdog, it was infuriating.

“Jasmine, please, let me explain…” I rolled my eyes.

“No, Matthew, there is absolutely nothing to explain, and I’m pretty sure you’re not smart enough to figure out a decent excuse!” Matthew cringed, looking at the two men with the car, one of which was watching with interest.

“Can I at least get my phone back?” I laughed, torn between the desire to cry and the righteous rage that filled my mind.

“You fucking tool,” I said, shaking my head and waving his phone in his face, taking a step back when Matthew reached out to grab it. “I ought to call your mom and tell her what an idiot she raised, and about how you’ve been taking such good care of her all those times you were, what was it again? Turning Paola out?” I heard a soft chuckle and fought back the urge to smile. “If you can give me one good reason not to smash this piece of junk on the sidewalk, maybe I’ll let you have it back.” Matthew sighed and glanced at the spectators.

“Jasmine, please. I swear, it wasn’t even anything serious. I’ll never see her again. If you give me my phone back right now I’ll text her to break it off.” I laughed again, feeling my rage transforming into sadness. He had cheated on me, some part of my brain howled. I wanted to hurt him; I wanted to curl up into a ball on my bedroom floor and bawl my eyes out.

“I dunno, Matthew, it looks pretty serious to me. After all, a couple of days ago you told her, ‘No one makes me cum as hard as you, baby. Of course I’m coming over.’ Was that the night you told me you had to take your sister to her dance recital? Maybe I should tell HER what a worthless ass her brother is!” I lifted the phone over my head. “Looks like you’re going to have to get a new phone, ‘sexy.’ Hope you remember Paola’s number.” I threw the phone away from Matthew, as hard as I could, and heard it smash screen-first on the sidewalk.

“Ahem.” I turned on my heel to see the man who had been standing next to the limousine at my elbow. I started, taking a step back, surprised at his sudden intervention. I looked around and noticed the limousine had started up. “I told him I’d rather walk,” the man in front of me said, smiling slightly. Matthew was still hovering, staring from his broken cell phone to me. The limo pulled away and started down the street slowly.

“This is really kind of an inconvenient time,” I told the man. His smile spread wider on his face, and I took a moment to really take him in; the suit was made of very expensive material, tailored exactly to his lean body. If I had to guess, he was probably a few years older than me, but kind of gorgeous, with brilliant blue eyes and dark hair, a clean-shaven face and creamy skin. His teeth weren’t perfectly straight, but the slight gap between his bottom front teeth was almost sexier than if they had been orthodontist-approved. His gaze was warm as he looked at me.

“I can see that. I apologize if I’m interrupting, but it occurred to me that you might want someone to bear more obvious witness to your condemnation of this…” he gestured toward Matthew. As he spoke, I noticed that the mystery man had a faint accent—British, perhaps, though it was softened. “Was he really foolish enough to cheat on you?” I felt myself smiling, almost laughing genuinely at the surprise in his voice.

“With some bitch named Paola, no less,” I informed the man, starting to relax and almost enjoy myself. Matthew looked miserable and uncomfortable, which pleased me. The man shook his head, glanced at Matt and chuckled.

“I believe at a time like this, that a woman as beautiful as yourself deserves a big glass of wine and an amazing dinner. You must be starving.” I felt myself blushing slightly, both at the compliment and at the obvious invitation.

“Well, it just so happens that I am conveniently single just now,” I replied, smoothing my hair instinctively. The man smiled again, and I bit my lip, wondering if I had taken leave of my senses; I didn’t even know his name. “My name is—” I started. The man in front of me nodded, cutting me off.

“Jasmine, so I heard. My name is Randall. Would you like to join me for dinner? I was heading out for something to eat when my car cut out.” He held out his hand and I shook it, feeling the warmth and strength of his grasp. I glanced at Matthew, who was still, somehow, hovering nearby, looking both defeated and hopeful all at once.

“I would love to have dinner with you, Randall. I will insist on you providing me with the big glass of wine you mentioned.” I glanced at my now-ex boyfriend. “What are you waiting for, you idiot? Go buy yourself a new damned phone so you can hook up with that stupid slut.” I watched as Matthew stared at me for a moment longer in shock and disappointment before walking away defeated and half-naked. I smiled to myself, satisfied with the effect of accepting the date and trashing my ex’s phone. Randall took my arm and I felt myself blushing again, just a little bit, at the courtly courtesy.

“Allow me to lead the way, Jasmine. I know just the place.”

Chapter Two

When we arrived at the destination that Randall had in mind, I was more than a little startled. I had realized that Randall was obviously well-to-do, between the expensive clothes and the limousine; but the restaurant we stopped outside of was one of the most exclusive places in the city. It was insanely expensive, and even with the price there was supposedly a waitlist of three months or more to book a reservation. I was not even remotely dressed up enough for a place as grand as that. I glanced at Randall, who was watching me take in the entrance of the restaurant, looking patient and not at all concerned that I wasn’t moving forward. “Are you serious?” I asked him incredulously. “They’ll never let me in, and even if they would, do you even have a reservation?” Randall smiled slowly, looking me over with more than a little heat in his gaze.

“Jasmine, I have a standing reservation here, there will be no problem with that. As to your outfit, you’d be surprised at how little people will notice it. You’re in a dress; your shoes are nice enough; no one working here will care much more than that. Plenty of wealthy people show up in much more casual attire.” I swallowed, wondering at his cavalier attitude. I told myself that if he was just trying to impress me, he’d clearly fall flat on his face doing it, which at least would provide some entertainment value. If he was telling the truth, I couldn’t help but be intrigued. I had never known anyone who had the clout to have a standing reservation at an exclusive restaurant; while this would certainly be the only date I ever had with the man, if he was being honest with me, it would give me a good story.

“Well,” I said, glancing from the entrance of the restaurant to my date. “I suppose we’ll see, won’t we?” Randall smiled again, stepping away from my side to open the door for me. I suppressed my sense of unease and walked through the door of the restaurant, feeling Randall’s sleeve brush against me as he followed.
