Not this time.” Aiden moved his hands between her thighs and forced her to spread her legs further apart. “I'm not patient enough for that right now.”

She knew what he meant and didn't think she'd ever be ready for that. She shivered as he made his way with his mouth from her ass up her spine to her neck.

His erection pressed against her entrance, slipping in one slow inch at a time until he filled her completely.

When he started to move out slowly, she couldn't stand it anymore and slammed back until she forced him to lose control.

Finally, he gripped her hips and started thrusting harder and faster until she couldn't stop her second orgasm from tearing through her body.

With one final thrust, Aiden slammed deep. She could feel his hard length pulsing inside her
then the warmth of his release filled her.

Damn, you’re going to cause my death for sure,” Aiden said as his heavy breathing warmed her neck.

Me?” She felt like she'd already died and went to heaven.

He pulled out and dragged her into his arms.
“I've missed you.”

They
were only apart for two days, yet she felt like they'd been apart forever. “I've missed you, too.”

Aiden leaned over and kissed her
, his tongue invaded her welcoming mouth. She groaned against his lips as she savored his tender kiss.

Elle felt a familiar prickling sensation on her skin but still didn't know what it meant.

“The sun's going down.” Aiden sounded disappointed as he nibbled her lip.

Then it clicked.
“I get this feeling against my skin when the sun goes down and comes up.”

Aiden nodded.
“It's your vampire instincts kicking in.” After a long kiss, Aiden groaned. “We've been ordered to get back to Sanctuary once the sun goes down.”

Elle scooted off the bed and away from
the temptation of tying him to the bed. She needed time to clear her head without Aiden's touch scrambling her mind. He'd left her before and she didn't know if she could trust him not to freak out and do the same thing again.

Elle?” He stood naked and moved toward her.

Wait.” She held her hand up for him to stop. Biting her lip, she eased her way closer to the bathroom. “I need to think. Alone.”

Aiden's shoulders dropped and his face tightened.
“I understand.”

Elle felt relief as she turned to enter the bathroom.

He grabbed her arm in a gentle hold. “Before you 'think,' I need to tell you something.”

Not sure what he would say, Elle held her breath as she expected the worst.

“I know I've done wrong but you need to know that I love you and you're my mate. As my mate, I plan to spend eternity with you and no one else. Ever.  I’ll settle for nothing less.” He let go of her arm and stepped back. “There'll never be another for me. I thought at one time Luciana was my mate but now I see how wrong I was. What I felt for her can't even compare to what I feel for you.

He loved her. She'd prayed he would feel the same
for her as she felt for him and it appeared he did.  Elle stood frozen and stared.

I just wanted you to know how I felt before you changed your mind on us.” Aiden turned and started to dress.

Before I changed
my
mind? I've been scared you'd leave again. I love you, Aiden. I've never fallen in love before you and I've never had my heartbroken before you.” Unwanted tears fell down her cheeks.

In a blink, Aiden stood in front of her wiping her tears away.
“Thank God.”

Elle gasped as he picked her up
and carried her back to the bed.

I need you.”

What about—?”

Aiden interrupted her question with a kiss
and she forgot what she planned on asking.

Chapter
Thirty-Two

Aiden held Elle on his lap as he waited at the large kitchen table they never used. He ran his hand up her thigh, wishing she had a skirt on instead of jeans.

With a swat of her hand, he laughed.
“I can't help it.”

She twisted to look him in the eyes
and gave him a teasing smile. “I don't think that’s appropriate with your prince sitting a few chairs away.”

I think you should listen to your mate, Aiden. I won't be the only one here in a few seconds,” Julian said.

As soon as Julian spoke, Drake, Ethan, Collin, Lena, and Jodi came through the door.

Aiden waited for Nicolas to come through. When he didn't, Aiden turned to Julian. “Where's Nicolas?”

He's got a lead on Lucian.”

Then why the hell am I here? Shouldn't we all be out helping him?” Aiden understood the need for a meeting, but if Nicolas found Lucian then Aiden wanted to be there, too.

Elle's hand flattened against his cheek.
“They'll be okay.”

She's right, plus Nicolas has been ordered to let us know once he finds Lucian. He's not to move on him until back-up gets there.” Julian stood and walked around the table as he started the meeting.

As you all know, Elle, Anya, and Nicolas met a vampire claiming to be the rogue leader.”

What?” Aiden hadn't heard anything about the vampire and he didn't like that his mate had met him.

You were unconscious,” Elle said.

You couldn't tell me about this earlier? I wouldn't have let you stay at your home as long as I did.” Fear overwhelmed him.

Can I get back to what I was saying?” Julian asked.

About that time, Anya came through the door.
“Sorry I'm late.”

Julian shook his head
and started pacing around the room. “I've never heard of so many rogues working together but if they have a strong leader, it could be possible. From the way Nicolas spoke, they listen to this leader and for some reason, he didn't touch any of us while we took out several of his army. He only touched Luciana.”

Aiden felt Elle tense in his arms before she covered her mouth with her hand. He knew she covered up her fangs.
“It's okay, I love you. What I had with her was a lie,” he whispered as he nipped her ear.

Julian cleared his throat.
“Elle, was there anything distinct about him we should know?”

Anya spoke up.
“Blonde hair to die for.”

He was as tall as you, Julian. He wore contacts,” Elle added.

Contacts?” Julian's eyes narrowed.

They were steel blue. He said it was so the rogues believed he was their leader, or something. We didn't exactly have time to discuss it in detail given I figured he was about to kill me.”

You spoke to him?” Aiden really wished he'd known before the meeting. He looked back up at Julian to find him holding his chin, his brows pulled together in deep thought. “What is it, Julian?”

Julian shook his head.
“Nothing, at least I hope not.” Clearing his throat, Julian sat back down before speaking. “I met a vampire once who had blue eyes, my cousin. He was the only vampire I'd ever seen who didn't have our natural silver eyes.

He didn't seem to have the greatest night vision like most vampires but he was killed a long time ago. Years later, my uncle, his father, disappeared after my parent's murder. At the time, we thought he was killed with my parents but we never found the body. That or he was the one who murdered them.”

You think he could be the leader?” Aiden asked. He hated the pain in his prince's eyes.

With the news we just found out, I believe their leader could be my uncle and I now truly believe he murdered my parents and my sister. He has to be wearing contacts in memory of my cousin.” Julian stood up and the others followed. “We have new orders. I want a hunt started for my uncle immediately. Any rogue along the way should be interrogated before being killed.”

Every
vampire in the room nodded.

And I will be the one to take him down. Is that clear?” Julian ordered.

Yes, sir,” Aiden and the other Guardians spoke in unison.

Julian left the room without another word
while the others filed out one at a time.

Elle never moved from Aiden's lap,
instead she turned so she straddled him. “So I guess we'll be living here from now on?”

Fear for her disapproval started through him before she smiled up at him.
“I want you safe. If Julian’s right about his uncle then this is the best place for us both.”

Okay, I guess Princess will have to get used to vampires.”

I guess you will, too.” Aiden kissed her and lifted his hips to press his erection against her.

She pulled back after giving a quick nip to his lip.
“I think I could get used to this.”

I love you, Elle.”

I love you, too. Now, how about you get us to our room with your vampire speed.”

Aiden didn't wait for another command as he hurried to their room with her in his arms.
