I couldn’t believe what we’d just done. Dylan slumped back against my chest, and I wrapped my arms around his trembling body. We’d just fucked, in public. More to the point, we’d just fucked in public, and totally gotten off on it.

As I gently removed Dylan from my lap, the stranger who’d assisted in making Dylan’s fantasy a reality inclined his head slightly, and then he too was moving to reach for the man he’d just come inside of.

Dylan turned to face me, his eyes heavy, his chest, neck, and face flushed, and never had he looked more attractive. He looked well and truly used, by me, and never had I been so sure of anything other than the fact that I wanted Dylan Prescott in my life—and I was going to use
everything
in my arsenal to make that happen.

EAT MY SAUSAGE

I COULDN’T TELL if I was still dreaming or if the strong hand moving up my thigh was real. All I could see were flashes of a shadowy, decadent nightclub full of depraved acts around every corner, and all I could feel were Ace’s hands roaming my body as he pounded his cock inside me. When a moan escaped my lips, the hand that’d been on my leg grazed over my hip and across my lower stomach.

“Someone’s having delicious dreams,” a deep, familiar voice said in my ear, and as I stirred into awareness against the softest sheets I’d ever lain on, the remnants of last night’s exhibition came rushing back in full HD detail.

Hell…did that really happen?

Ace’s fingers flirted their way over my abs and up to my chest. “Thinking of something in particular?”

“I didn’t dream that, did I?” I asked, my voice thick with sleep, and Ace’s chuckle had my eyelids cracking open.

He was lying on his side, the white sheets low at his hips to show off every ripped ounce of muscle, and there was a twisted grin on his gorgeous face as he stared down at me.

“Hmm. Should there be a round two to remind you…?” he asked, as his teeth grazed my jaw, and I let out a groan.

“I don’t think I would survive.”

“No? Are you trying to tell me the reality of your fantasy coming true was too much for you?” His tone was teasing, and it had me pushing him onto his back and rolling on top of him to pin his hands by his sides. He was naked and fully erect underneath me, and I took the opportunity to rub my hard length against his.

“Does that feel like it was too much?” I asked.

“It feels fucking amazing.”

“Good,” I said, settling down onto my elbows and letting him support my weight. “Then maybe round two could be right here in—”

Knock knock knock.
“Room service!”

Ace groaned and ran a hand over his hair. “Dammit, I forgot about that.”

“Just let them leave it outside, then,” I said, licking a path up the side of his neck and grinding my hips into his.
Mmm, I could get used to waking up like this.

“I would, but we need to eat. I’ll just be a minute.” He moved out from under me, and the only reason I didn’t protest was because when he stood up, all that naked perfection was on display, and it had me licking my lips again.

“Hurry back,” I said, once he’d zipped up the pants he’d worn last night and headed for the door.

We’d ended up in his suite once we’d left…well, wherever the hell it was we’d been, and I hoped he wasn’t letting anyone inside, because they’d see quite the trail of clothes leading into this back bedroom.

Damn, last night had been… Well, there were no words. Nothing that could’ve possibly summed up all that I was feeling after such an explosive weekend, and I had a feeling Ace wasn’t done blowing my mind yet. After all, we still had an entire day ahead, not to mention another ride on that private plane of his.

“How do you feel about breakfast in bed?” Ace asked, as he wheeled in a cart stacked high with silver-domed dishes and pitchers of coffee, water, and orange juice.

“Wow. That’s not all for us, is it?”

Ace’s eyebrow arched. “Did you want to invite the new friends we made last night?”

“Umm, maybe just us, then.”

“Good answer,” he said, and began taking the tops off all the dishes to display an assortment of eggs and toast, of bacon and sausage, pancakes and French toast, and crepes and fruit…

As I took in the feast before me, I sat up and rubbed my chest, feeling more than a little undeserving of…
Fuck
. Everything over the past few weeks. It was just so…
much
, and while I knew Ace had good intentions, it was more than a little overwhelming for a guy like me. Driving around in cars worth more than I’d make in a lifetime. Private planes. Even more private sex clubs. Mansions and luxury hotels, and—

I dropped my head into my hands and pressed the heels of my palms against my eyes. What the fuck did
I
have to offer this guy? He could give me the world, and what did I give back? What could I possibly do that would compare with all this?

“Dylan?” Ace said, and when I looked up at him, he seemed cautious. “Are you okay?”

My gaze dropped down to my lap, to the snowy sheets that were probably the highest thread count money could buy. Well, not
my
money. Ace’s money. People who could afford Syn money.

“Would you rather have lunch food instead? Burgers instead of omelets? I can call up—”

“No, no. It’s not that,” I said, feeling like a jerk. Then I gestured to the food that could feed a family of five. “Ace, this needs to stop. You can’t keep giving me things.”

Surprise lit his features briefly before his face smoothed into an unreadable mask, and yeah, total asshole over here.

“Don’t misunderstand me,” I said. “What you’ve done…what you’re doing for me is all so fucking nice, and I’m grateful, but you can’t keep doing this.”

His voice was stiff, even hurt, when he answered. “Maybe I like doing things for you. Giving you nice things. New experiences.”

“I know you do, but…” I ran my hand through my hair and tried to find the words. “It’s my turn to do nice things for you. I mean, I don’t know how to compare to what you’ve done for me, especially this weekend, but—”

“But what?”

I didn’t know how to answer that, so I said the only thing I could think of. “Maybe…maybe if you knew more about where I’m coming from, you’d understand.”

Ace’s brow furrowed. “What do you mean?”

Oh God, was I really going to do this? To open up about my shitty past? To tell him the parts about me that I’d never told anyone?
Yeah,
I thought with a sigh.
I don’t have a choice.
If we had any hope of making things work and somehow evening out the playing field, then he deserved to know. And more than that, he’d proved last night that he trusted me with his whole heart, so how could I not trust him with mine and all the secrets that came with it?

I moved my legs to make room for him to sit beside me, and when he sank down onto the mattress, I reached for his hand.

“You told me I’m private about things when I force you to be open, and you’re right. But it’s not because I don’t want you to know me. I do. I just…don’t want to…scare you off. Is all.”

Ace’s thumb made slow, sweeping circles along my palm, taking the edge off my fear.

“You can’t scare me off now. I’m in it.” His gaze dropped to our hands, and then he said quietly, “I’m in deep. So whatever it is, I’m not going anywhere.”

When his eyes lifted, the sincerity in them nearly brought me to my knees. I didn’t doubt for a second that he meant what he said, and it took me a minute to catch my breath after his admission.

“Look, I… I don’t want to go into the details now. Not here,” I said, looking around the lavish room before bringing my eyes back to his. “But when we get home tonight, I need to tell you a story about a boy who grew up never having nice things. A boy who wasn’t sure he deserved them. Still doesn’t.”

“Dylan—”

“Maybe then you’ll understand why this is all so unbelievable to me. I mean…things like this don’t happen to people like me. To a person who, at one time in his life, didn’t know where he would sleep. Who used to run away from his mother, who wanted him to—” I stopped myself before I could lay all that on him.
Not yet. Not here.
Taking a deep breath, I held it in until my lungs burned and then I blew it out on a rush. “I’ll tell you a story of the me before a little ray of Sunshine came into my life. I’ll tell you about Brenda—and I hope by the end of that story that you still look at me the way you’re looking at me now.”

Ace’s big blue eyes never wavered from mine, and when he sensed that was all I would say, his solemn stare turned curious and he asked, “And how am I looking at you?”

“Right now?”

“Yeah.”

My lips twitched. “Like you really, really, really, really, really, really like me. And also, like you’re hoping I’ll shut up now and eat my bacon and crepes before they get cold.”

“Damn. It says all that? I need to work on my poker face.”

“Please don’t. I need to be able to read you at all times,” I said, my hand going to the back of his neck and drawing him forward. Before my lips met his, he pulled back a little, his expression returning to serious.

“Are you sure?” he asked, and he didn’t need to say more for me to catch his drift.

“That’s what this is about, right? You and me. You’ve shown me the trust that I’m ready to show you. I want to.”

His hand came up to cup my cheek, and as his mouth brushed mine in a feather-light kiss, he said, “Thank you.”

And then my lips were on his, hungry and unrelenting as I straddled his lap and forced him back on the bed. A satisfied groan escaped his throat, and then his hands went down to my ass and squeezed before—

Fuck me,
tossing me right off him and onto the other side of the mattress.

Chuckling at my bewildered expression, he got to his feet and went back over to the breakfast cart. “Stop trying to get me back in bed. You’re going to eat this sausage I bought especially for you, dammit, if I have to shove it down your throat myself.”

My eyes shot down to the bulge in his pants. “Please? Pretty please?”

Ace’s brows shot up and then he stabbed one of the sausage links with a fork. He walked over to me and held it out, and I made a face of disgust before grudgingly accepting it.

“It’s a lot smaller than I was expecting,” I grumbled, before stuffing the entire thing in my mouth.

“Please tell me you’ve never said that to anyone when they’ve dropped trou.”

I swallowed and then shrugged. “No more than once or twice. Mmm, that was really good, though. Please, sir, may I have another?”

Laughing, Ace piled several sausage links on a plate with a variety of protein and carbs and passed it my way. Then he made a plate of his own, and when he joined me on the bed, I gave him a quick kiss.

“This looks amazing. Thank you.”

“Anytime.” Ace cut into his omelet, and then he stopped and frowned. “Oh shit, I forgot the trays—”

He went to put his plate aside so he could jump off the bed, but my hand shot out to stop him from getting up again.

“We don’t need the trays,” I said. “Now sit here and I’ll let you eat my eggs.”

“That doesn’t sound nearly as hot as ‘eat my sausage.’”

“You can eat that too,” I said with a wink, and then bit down on a ripe strawberry.

Ace looked at me then, his lips tipped up into a boyish grin. “By the way, you said when we get home tonight you’d tell me.”

“And I will.”

“No,” he said, shaking his head. “You said when we get
home
tonight. Whose home did you mean?”

I caught his eyes with mine and then said with the utmost sincerity, “Anywhere you are.”

AN HOUR, A full belly,
and
steaming shower sex later, and I was feeling fucking fantastic. And not just physically. Dylan was finally starting to open up, and though, judging by the intensity with which he guarded his past, I knew what he had to say later wouldn’t be easy to hear, it felt like a heavy weight had been lifted. Like the walls we both stood firmly behind were beginning to crumble. And I won’t lie—it was scary to let someone in, but I had a strong feeling it would be more than worth it.

As I stood at the bathroom sink, I carefully shaved off the last bit of stubble on my cheek, and then rinsed and toweled off. When I didn’t see my aftershave on the counter, I strolled out to grab the bottle that must’ve still been in my bag, and when I did, I caught a glimpse of Dylan out of the corner of my eye. He was standing in front of the wall of windows staring out at the Strip, nothing but a towel on his trim waist, same as me, and as I admired the lean muscles of his back, I wondered again how the hell he was even mine.

As if he could hear my thoughts, Dylan looked over his shoulder, his smile widening until those gorgeous damn dimples popped out. I couldn’t remember what I’d been about to do, but it couldn’t have been as important as walking over to the man who was a better view than anything in the background.

“So what should we do today?” I asked, wrapping my arms around his waist from behind. “Maybe a helicopter ride over the city and to the Grand Canyon before we head home?”

Dylan laughed, and his head fell back onto my shoulder. “You don’t do anything small, do you?”

I snaked one of my hands down his stomach and over his hips to cup him through his towel. “Not lately.”

“Jesus, Ace.”

“What?” I asked, removing my hand and smirking. “You asked.”

“You’re fucking trouble.”

“Sometimes. But I think you might have a hard-on for it.” After pressing a kiss against his shoulder, I walked over to where I’d tossed my bag haphazardly on the couch earlier. I felt around inside and then checked the pockets, but came up empty for the bottle I was looking for.

“Did you happen to pack any aftershave?” I asked.
