“You didn’t spit in this did you?” She accuses me as she gives me a stern look.

I shake my head. “No,” I quickly say as I turn around and walk away, but I stop dead in my tracks when I hear her hurtful words.

“You know Ace will come back to me. He always does.  He won’t stay with you; you’re just the flavor of the month. Mark my words.”

As I hear those words leave her mouth, it pissess me off. If I wasn’t working and I knew I wouldn’t get in trouble, I would slap that fucking smirk off of her face.

“He didn’t seem to be thinking of you when he was fucking me this morning. He was calling out my name when he came.” I hiss as I leave her sitting there, her mouth wide open in shock from my outburst.

I try to keep myself busy, I don’t bother going back to Porsches booth, and if she wants to pay she can leave the money on the table.

I look up to see if Porsche is still there but she’s gone. I walk over to the booth and I grab the money she left. I count it; she left the right amount for the bill. She didn’t leave a tip; I kind of figured she wouldn’t but still… What a cheap bitch.

I finish up my shift, I head to the back to hang up my apron; Joe left work a while ago. George will be closing tonight.

I walk out to my car; my phone dings as I open the car door. I throw my purse on the passenger seat. I get into my car and grab my phone from my purse. I have two text messages, one from Ace and one from Tammy. I open Ace’s text first; I smile wide as I read it.

Ace- : Hey Peaches, just writing to let you know everything is alright. I miss your sweet lips, can’t wait to taste them again.

I type out a quick reply and send it. I open my other message from Tammy.

Tammy- : Hey, I was wondering if you were able to come to the club tonight and help serving drinks at the bar, we are two girls short.

I sigh as I reply.

Alison- : Yeah, I can help out. What time do you want me to be there at?

Tammy- : Be here for eight, thanks, sis.

I shake my head; I’ve helped Tammy out a few times before at the club, so this will be a piece of cake. I already know the ropes behind the bar. I start my car and I head home, I need to take a shower before heading to the club.

Chapter 12

I arrive at the club, and I see it’s packed already. Well tonight should be fun, with drunken idiots and naked women dancing around. My sister is on thin ice as it is with Tom the manager of the club, because last week some idiot went and grabbed her ass and she wasn’t having any of that. I don’t know what happened exactly, but the poor guy ended up with a broken nose.

Tammy doesn’t fuck around.  She’s usually not that bad she must’ve had a bad day or something. She doesn’t usually care because it's more tips.

The smoke filled air is thick; I could probably slice it with a knife. I look around to see if I can find Tammy. She’s already in full swing serving drinks to customers near the bar, laughing with a few customers. I shake my head smirking; she was always the outgoing one, I was more the quiet type, stick to myself kind of girl.

I make my way towards the bar. Annie is standing behind the bar; as soon as she sees me she gives me a wink.  I laugh as I shake my head. Annie is a lesbian, and she knows for a fact I’m not into girls. However that doesn’t stop her. She’s always asking me if I’m ready to join in on the lesbian action.

I get to work serving drinks to men sitting around the bar. Annie is chatting with a man at the end of the bar. I narrow my eyes to see who she is talking too, I gasp. It’s William, Mark’s best friend,
what the hell?

I look at him closely; I see he’s wearing a cut. He turns to point to some bikers in the corner, as he walks away from the bar I get a look at his cut ‘Pandora’s MC’ oh my God, that’s the MC that Mark joined.

I look around praying that Mark isn’t here. I’m sure he’s still pissed about how things ended with us, but once I saw him in bed with Sarah, there was no way in hell I was going to go back to him. My eyes land on Mark. He’s sitting with two other members,
shit
. My palms start to sweat; I don’t want him to see me, that’s all I need is him to come over here.

As I continue to serve drinks to rowdy customers, I turn my back towards the bar and I grab a bottle of Tequila. I hear the voice I tried so hard to forget.

“Alison, baby, is that you?” He purrs making me stiffen up; I don’t want to turn around to face him.

I close my eyes, praying that he will just walk away. I turn around with no such luck; I’m face to face with my ex. The boy who broke me, the boy who made me feel like I was nothing… But the guy who stands in front of me now is a man of the boy I once knew. I put on a brave face; I rest both hands on the counter.

“What do you want Mark?” I ask looking around for Tammy, but I can’t see her. Shit. He reaches out to touch my hand; I move my hand before his can touch me.

He sighs “Don’t be like that Alison, I don’t know how many times I have to tell you, it didn’t mean anything. I love you, baby. I was so wasted I thought she was you,” He confesses as he leans over the bar with a somewhat sincere expression on his face.

Even if he thought it was me, it wasn’t me; it was that bitch Sarah that he was thrusting into, as she moaned out his name. He should have known it wasn’t me by the voice.

I shake my head, “I don’t think so Mark, you knew it wasn’t me you were fucking. You did it because you thought I wasn’t going to come back to the party. Well I’m happy I did, I saw what happened with my own eyes,” I take a deep breath before I continue.

“So please don’t stand there and say you love me, you never loved me. I was just a warm body to warm your bed,” I hiss out in anger as I start pacing in front of him. I stop mere inches from him and I lean in.

“Doesn’t matter anyway, I’m over it. I’m seeing someone, and he’s amazing.” I mention with a crook grin.

His head snaps up with narrow eyes, “Who are you seeing Alison?” He shouts out as he slams his fists down on the bar. I jump back a little, I look at him wide-eyed. I’m shocked at his outburst.

Annie walks over to me; she puts her hand on my shoulder. “Are you okay Alison? Do I need to call Tom or the police?” She asks softly as she rubs my shoulder lightly. I put my arm up waving off that everything is okay.

Annie goes back to serving the bar patrons. I try to reign in my anger as much as I can, before I do something stupid, and yell at Mark. I take a deep breath; I look up, Mark’s standing there grinding his jaw with tight fists on the bar.

“You don’t need to know who the hell I’m seeing, you lost that privilege,” I snarl at him. He chuckles tapping his knuckles on the wooden bar.

“Oh Alison… Baby, you will always be mine. Don’t you forget that! I popped your sweet cherry, I claimed you. YOU’RE MINE!” He growls out as he grips the bar, his knuckles turning white from his tight grip.

I feel my face heat with anger. I’m angry with myself for ever getting involved with him. I try so hard to hold back the tears that are threatening to come as I stare at the man that I was once in love with.

I hear my name being called; I look to my right and I see Tammy walking towards the bar with her tray in hand. She has an apprehensive look in her eye, she leans on the bar checking to see if I’m physically okay.

“What’s wrong? Something happen to Ace?” She whispers, praying to God that Mark didn’t hear her. She must not have seen Mark standing there when she walked up. A howl of laughter comes from Mark. Tammy’s eyes widen, realizing what a big mistake she just made by mentioning Ace.

“You’re fucking Ace, the VP of ‘The Brimstone Kings’? Wow, baby I didn’t take you as someone to be passed around at a club,” He hisses out as he goes to grab my hand. I move further back so I’m out of his reach.

“Yes, I’m with Ace. We’re not just fucking, we’re actually seeing each other,” I shout out as I hold myself.

Giving a sinister laugh, Mark shakes his head.

“You think that he will keep you around? Ace…The VP of The Brimstone Kings, the man whore of man whores? I don’t think so Baby; he has a different chick in his bed every other night. He will never be faithful to you; he will get bored of you and throw you away like you’re nothing,” He exclaims.

I feel tears running down my face as he utters those hurtful words to me. My body starts to shake as I try to contain my sobs from breaking from my throat.

“Leave her the fuck alone Mark,” My sister gets in his face and shouts. Out of the corner of my eye I see his buddies rise from their seats, the sound of their chairs scraping the floor. Mark turns to face them and waves them off, they nod as they sit down.

“Tammy, this is between Alison and me, so if you wouldn’t mind just walk away and let me talk to her. It has fuck all to do with you,” He grumbles out.

“I’m not leaving her here with you,” She sneers out. Mark looks between us both shaking his head.

“Alison, I will talk to you after you’re finished with work, I will wait for you outside,” He promises as he walks back to his buddies.

Shit, I don’t want to be cornered by him outside. I’m shaking in fear, knowing what he could do to me if we were alone. I need to text Ace to let him know what’s going on; grabbing my phone I see there is a text from Ace.

Ace- : Hey Peaches, just wanted to let you know that I’m back early. Everything is fine. I heard you’re working at the club tonight; we will have some words about that later. I should be there in about 30 minutes.

I look at the time of when the text was sent, it was twenty minutes ago. I sigh in relief; thank God Ace will be here soon. I don’t want to be here with just Tammy and Annie. I need Ace…

Thank fuck we got back early from that stupid run. I thought we were going to be gone for a few days, but turns out the Prez of the Pandora’s MC was out of town. That’s pretty fucking convenient if you ask me.

Viper mentioned that Alison is working with Tammy tonight at the strip club. Let’s just say, when I found out that little information I wasn’t too happy.  He ensured me that Alison wasn’t stripping; she was tending the bar because the other bartender was sick. Thank fuck because I think I would be kicking some serious ass if she was going up and down that pole around all those assholes.

Viper mentions he wants to go to the club to visit Tammy. He nods to me, knowing I’m not going to just sit around here while Alison is at the club with a whole bunch of rowdy fuckers that can get out of line. I send Peaches a quick text telling her I will be seeing her in thirty minutes.

We finish our beer before we head out. Viper talks to David behind the bar while my mind drifts thinking of Alison; it’s only been a few hours since I’ve seen her but damn, I’m hooked. I check the time, man I’ve been lost in thought for at least fifteen minutes.

I grab my jacket and wallet; I snatch up my keys from the bar. I slap Viper on the back; he turns smirking, I’m anxious to see Alison and that fucker knows it. Once we’re outside, we head toward our bikes. Getting to the club shouldn’t take too long; it’s about ten minutes away from the clubhouse.

As we pull up to the club, there’s lots of bikes parked outside. It’s not an uncommon thing to see bikes at Bare Essentials, but these ones aren’t from our MC. Viper parks alongside me and dismount his bike. He walks over to other bikes parked near us.
