“I did everything across town they needed and they sent me back here, but those boys, the really cute ones that look just alike, they didn’t want to let me up. They didn’t believe I worked here. Can you believe it? Anyway is Chrissy back from Sydney yet? That’s a city in Australia, not a person, did you know that? Do you think she saw any kangaroos? Are there WereKangaroos? Chrissy will know. I can’t wait to talk to her all about her trip. Did she take a plane? I mean Dragons can fly, right?”

Caleb’s eyes widened. “Is that the bobble-headed body-snatching cheerleading demon I heard so much about? Because I really don’t want to think there are two of them.”

Kryssa and Xander stared at each other and nodded in unison.

“How about we go now?” Kryssa offered. “Now’s good, before she finds me. The bags are in there.”

Caleb opened the closet door. “Why are there flowers all over the floor?”

“No time to explain, she’s almost here.” They grabbed her bags, and the three of them ran for it, questions of flight speed, dragon riders and WereRoos echoing after them as the temp tried to keep up.
