Apparently his lover had had enough of being submissive, and just as before, the change in himinflamed James beyond measure. He grabbed Kyle’s shoulder in one hand and his hip in the other and set to pounding that sweet arse with all the passion he possessed, the slap oftheir bodies echoingoffthe walls and ceilings ofhis rooms.

One of Kyle’s hands dropped between his legs, and his arm jerked furiously, soft cries and pants issuing from his mouth. When Kyle froze suddenly, dropped face first onto the mattress, and cried out into the pillows, James bit back his own yell and thrust hard once more, collapsing over his back and wrapping his arms around him, holdinghimtight.

They lay there for several minutes as their panting breaths and racing hearts slowed; then he slid slowly out of Kyle’s body and collapsed next to him. Kyle rolled onto his side, facing James, and they simply gazed adoringly at one another for several breaths before James raised his hand to cup Kyle’s cheek and leaned forward to brusha gentle kiss across his lips.

“I love you, James,” Kyle whispered, his eyes suspiciously bright inthe lamplight.

“I love you, Kyle,” he murmured in response, pulling his lover more tightly against himand simply holding himthere, putting as much emotion as he could into that embrace. Kyle was his now, and he was never goingto let himgo again, not for anything.

Tomorrow theywould talk ofAndrew’s schemes and figure out how best to make this work. There were still obstacles they would have to overcome….

But tomorrow. He would worryabout allofthat tomorrow.
Tomorrow…
was his last, happy thought before he drifted off to sleep.

LLISTERquit her day job in 2007 and moved to her dreamhome inthe woods ofVirginia to follow her muses and explore her creative side full time. She’s a firm believer in practical romanticism, requires a strong cup of coffee every morning to be even remotely human, and has a healthy obsession with romance and fantasy fiction, small (and not so small) furry creatures, and anything to do with working with her hands. She can be found most days either hunched over her sewing machine or hunched over her laptop. Though she has spent a lifetime making up stories in her head when whatever task she was occupied with failed to keep her full attention, she only recently discovered the challenge and reward to be found in committing those stories to paper. Now that she has, there’s no going back.
