My mother and father told me that they are planning an arranged marriage between Lana and me. I know Lana well and grew up with her. She is a royal bitch. I refuse to allow this to happen. My decision is made. I am going to Earth for good.

I made it to Earth today, and I bet my parents are going crazy. I ruined their plans, and I know they would kill me if they could find me. I am on the same planet as the one I love. I thought about doing away with this journal and burning it, but changed my mind. I wanted to forget Holly, because there will never be a life with her. I will always have to live without her and watch her from the side lines, and who knows what will happen at the age of 20. If I could promise her a life of happiness I would have already tried to start a relationship with her. I don’t want to be a road block to the choice she will have to make one day.

The guys and I enrolled ourselves in high school. We start in August. I thought, if I’m going to make a life here, I better get an education so I can do something for money. It is no coincidence that we are going to the same school as Holly. I did that on purpose. Brody is pissed. This should be interesting.

Today was the first day at school. Holly has no idea that we are in the same school together. She is a grade below me, and we have passed each other in the halls several times. She is always with her friends. They are always laughing and talking, oblivious to anything that is going on around them. Holly has caught me staring at her on several occasions. She started having an interest in me. I caught her doodling my name in visions I’ve had today, in her school notebooks. When I realized she was starting to crush on me, I used a spell to make her forget that she ever saw me. I can’t let her be attracted to me. A girl named Laura has taken interest in me though.
I
decided I would try to date her to forget about Holly. Yeah right…

I haven’t written much, because my visions have slowed down, almost stopped completely. I guess since I’m on Earth, and I am by her everyday it caused them to do that. I sit outside her room, in a tree, waiting for her to fall asleep each night. When she is fast asleep I go and watch her sleep, beside her bed, until I get too tired, and then I go back to my place to sleep. There have been a few times she has woken up to look around her room. I hide behind her curtains, and then I leave. It is getting harder and harder not to reveal myself to her. Just to hear her speak directly to me would make this life worth living.

Earth has so many stupid holidays. Today is what they call Valentines Day. I am taking Laura out to eat. Maybe if I pretend it is Holly I’m with, it won’t be as bad as I think it is going to be.

I found out that Holly got accepted into Stanthum University at the beginning of her senior year; so guess what I did? I immediately put in an application and got accepted. I will be a year ahead of her. Laura found out that I got accepted; so she put in her application and got accepted also. I am beginning to feel like Laura is a dog that won’t quit sniffing my ass. I think it is time to break things off with her.

I broke up with Laura. On a positive note, Holly will be starting college soon. I had a vision of her trying on her High School graduation cap and gown with her best friends. They were laughing and talking about all the memories of the past years. It was so nice to see Holly so happy. I wish it was I who could make her that happy. Staying away from her is getting harder and harder. Nearly impossible.

I went to Holly’s graduation today, and she looked beautiful. She graduated with honors at the top of her class. Brody, Jett, and Mason came with me and, when she walked proudly across the stage, we all jumped up and yelled like we were watching a football game. She looked out into the crowd and smiled, but we were far enough on the bleachers that she wouldn’t have known who we were. I wanted to give her a hug and tell her how proud of her I was. I have watched her grow up. It almost seems creepy, the way I’ve watched her...Protected her. Anyway, she deserves the diploma she held in her hand.

I sat outside her window tonight and watched her look at pictures and yearbooks of her years at school. After a few tears were shed, she came over to the window. It has been a while since I have had to use magic; so instead of disappearing out of the tree, I fell out of it. After I got my thoughts together, I made myself disappear.
