“Je l’
aime

,  he
whispered to his heart. “
Oui
, his heart whispered
Mon dieu! Je l'aime. Seul le cœur connaît le contenu de l'entendre.

When she beckoned to him
, he went without hesitation and allowed her to lead him into dance. He leaned down and kissed her passionately, sated with his recently discovered feelings.
Tonight they were going to the
Dundas
Centre. He wished that he could spend some time alone with her to examine his feelings in detail, but a promise was a promise.

Six hours
later, he was dressed in a black
linen formal shirt with a dark blue slack.  She had on a dimple bronze sheath that draped he curves intimately.  Her feet were adorned with strapped stiletto of the same shade as the dress. The
y
found the arc of her instep so sexily
and emphasize the long sleek length of her legs
.

They made a striking pair as they entered the center. They were led to front ro
w as
Gastron
had .
He preferred
French opera, but enjoyed Bahamian songs and dances of the past. Halfway through the show, he realized that in participating in the culture, he was gaining an insight into

who
she was
– ideologies, dance
, beliefs etc. In spite of this back drop, he knew that his woman was unique. There was absolutely none like her.
That night he made love to her
as if she was the most precious
, delicate gift he had. He saw the
resulting
fear clouding her eyes.

They caught the flight to Abaco where regatta was into its second day. The main races would occur. There were three classes of boats, judged according to their size. He watched intently as crews boarded the Class A boats named:
Trouble, Have Some, Old Lady and Hot Stuff
. It require
d
real skill to build, fashion as well to sail.
Azolee
was always anchored by his armed to his side. He hated the way men would touch her as they passed or want to look directly into her eyes. Children absolutely loved and were drawn to her. He realized that she was well known in the
Abacos
.

Zolee
”, they called her, at times shortening it affectionately to “
Zole
.”

His favorite
food
was the conch salad. One of the vendors explained that conch was an aphrodisiac and it helped in lovemaking, looking coyly at
Azolee
. After noting the way
Gastron’s
hand tightened around her waist he backed off, leaving him to taste the sea snail that was diced along with onions, peppers and sprinkled with lime. He loved it. He ate plenty of it. Much later he tasted conch frit
ters and various tarts. He appreciatively sipped
the gin and coconut water.

As much as he enjoyed himself,
Gastron
was happy to leave. They had rented a villa in Treasure Cay for the weekend and he was anxious to be alone with his woman. The sun was still high and there was a hammock next to the villa.
Azolee
got two tumblers, a Coconut rum and a pineapple juice and headed out. They tried until they both fitted in sprawl fashion across the hammock. This was life.
Gastron
knew that
his woman was
fast becoming
his life. Amazing how much had changed in the span of three weeks.  He felt her shiver and he motioned for her to get up. They went by assent into the villa. The atmosphere was sweet and friendly. They ate dumpling soup bought at the stall and talk of the various events enjoyed. He knew she was avoiding the inevitable. They watched a Tom Hanks film, half way through,
Gastron
received a call and walked out on the verandah to answer it.

She went out to be with him as the credits indicated the movie had ended. She heard the tail end of the conversation. “.......
She will not stop me from getting what I want
. I want it all
.

He looked around and hurriedly wrapped up the conversation. He looked into her eyes, thinking she had heard him. She applied her poker face.

“I am tired. I am going to bed”. That night they slept
without making love,
both tense.

The next day was one of exploration. They visited the candy-striped lighthouse during the morning and traveled to Green Turtle Cay that afternoon. On the way back into Treasure, they lunched at the Coco Bar. The grilled fish and burgers were to die for. Instead of catching connecting flight into Nassau, then into
Exuma
as they had come

Gastron
chartered Abaco Air’s flight direct to
Exuma
.

He drove
Azolee
home and
left
her
reluctantly
at the door with a kiss. He checked the cottage to make sure it was ok and promised to be back in at
four.

Az
olee
went out for a stroll on the beach. By the time she had made one lap, he
r
decision was firm. She was going to conclude her desertion in the next two days and leave for France on Wednesday. She emailed the necessary to her agents. Notified Mama of her decisions and asked her to check on the cottage. She notified Mr.
Saunders who promised to make
all of the legal arrangements that she needed.
She packed lightly, knowing she would have time to s
hop while touring
. She had just finished stashing her luggage when she heard the quiet drone of
Gastron’s
self drive
car.

As he entered the door, she met him with, “I will go to France
”. She saw by the relieved expression
he gave that it meant a lot to him. He leaned down and kissed her, his woman.

Alo
, I missed you.”

CHAPTER
TEN

It was Tuesday
morning, as always the sun rose gloriously in The Bahamas, setting the precedence for the day.
Gastron
had traveled into Nassau two days earlier to complete some transactions. As Bahamas Air landed and the plane taxied to a stop, she spotted him easily. Women were vying for his attention, but his eyes w
ere only for her. He was clad
in a
black fitted denim jacket with a black jeans
pants and soft suede strollers. His tan was shown to advantage and the dark dolor intensified his slim, muscular built. She walked to him, a tall, slim and regal in tan linen slack, powder blue fitted top with leather strapped stilettos. Heads turned. He felt proud that he had his claims in first.
His woman.
He enfolded her in his arms and kissed her slowly and thoroughly.

He took her carry-on bag and kept her to his side. They strolled down to the foreign departure lounge. The flight would leave in a half of an hour and land in Miami, Florida. The following day they would fly directly
into France, a journey that would take
nine to ten hours.

H
e leaned down and kissed her. “
What was that for?” she smiled, licking her lips mischievously.
He smiled in response and tightened his arms around her. His woman wa
s so beautiful and golden.

They were soon embarking in Miami. They took a taxi to the nearest Hampton and decided to spend a few hours there
. He needed to have her. As soon as they reached the elevator, he latched his mouth to her neck, bit
her on her ear gently,
caressed
her nipples through the sheer
top. Her moans showed that she was just as aroused as he was. It was difficult being around her and not being in her. He needed his woman. In short order they were in the bed writhing over each other. The sexual energy in the room was enough to make a bomb sizeable enough that if detonated, could destroy a small village. They slept, ate and dressed and later left for the airport.

Soon they boarded for
Air France. They both had first classed tickets. This meant ample space, wine, theatre and privacy.
They both knew that forces
would come, but they were unwilling that they should come just yet. Awareness of the time caused them to appreciate the remaining moments more.
They had been in the air for three hours when t
he
y were served. They

fed
each other, played footsies, hand games, kissed and gave love nips. He asked for one of the light blankets, pulled her to him and covered her. He closed his eyes as his hands loosed her zipper and pushed beyond her strings into her damp folds. He played with her nub, allowing for her
meowls
. He plunged two fingers into her and covered her lips with his mouth. He was still kissing her when seconds later, she climaxed.

He rubbed her stomach as she calmed. He was hot, hard and ready, but he motioned for her to head for the bathroom. He followed discreetly.  In the confined space, he pulled her pants partially down, lifted her, parted her stringed wear and
slid sweetly home. He lift
ed her and pulled her down
knowing that he was near, he pushed his hips up abruptly, cover her mouth again and they drowned each other’s love sound.

Afterwards, h
e helped her put some semblance of order to herself and she helped him. They kissed open mouthed for one last time, “ma
chere
” he murmured. He didn’t see the response in her eyes or he would have threaded more carefully.

They exited the rest room and we
nt back to their seats. Her arm
rested on his stomach as her head rested on his sh
oulders. Little did she realize
that he was watching
her.
He had seen the blond French lady making bold passes at him. His
woman’s response was to rest her
hand and head on
him
to show that he belonged to her. He
smiled and kissed her hair
, loving it.

He was unprepared for the way she put an arm around his neck and kissed him
thoroughly. He was no use to
other wome
n. He was permanently undone
. The blonde woman turned away with a pout. She was his match, his woman. He was her man. This was his last thou
ght
.
