OkVei
reclined on her pink bedspread, looking through one of the animal
rehabilitation manuals RaKel had loaned her. The contrast of his charcoal-clad
b
ody among the collection of stuffed toys on her
lacey bed caused laughter to bubble in her throat.

“What’s
so funny?” He looked up and closed the manual. “I didn’t realize taking care of
animals was such hard work.”

“RaKel
is considering taking me to a
pan
nei
show next month. We will not only enter
her
pannei
, SpaKles, in some of the events, but will also be on hand
to provide care for any injuries.” GiNae curled up beside him and hugged one of
her stuffed
catois
to her chest. “I was remembering the
last ti
me we sat here together. Your assignment was
to write a story, only you were more interested in making up languages for my
toys.”

“I
remember that.” OkVei put the manual on the bedside table and picked up a
multi-colored
dirbre.
“I think this one was from
CurMey, and didn’t we decide everything was backwards?” He
spoke gibberish, then cocked his head. “Oh, pardon me. He says the universal
translator is now in place and he has enjoyed the comforts of your room, though
SkiRee has taken a liking to chewing on
his wing.”
OkVei’s dark eyes sparkled as he held out the shredded appendage.

GiNae
snatched it from him. “I know. I caught SkiRee playing with him the other day.
It’s funny how we still remember stuff like that, like painting together and
other things.”

OkVei
reached out and smoothed her hair behind her ear. “Maybe on a subconscious
level, we knew we would be together? Apparently I’m not the only one who likes
older women.” GiNae welcomed his kiss and shoved her childhood animal
collection to the floor in
order to be closer to him.

“Don’t
remind me. Father died three years after we came to live here, and I’ve often
wondered why Mother never seemed interested in other men. I guess I’ve always
felt maybe no one could replace my father in our lives.”

“When
we
bond, my father will become your father. If our
parents also bond, then your mother will be my stepmother. How weird is that?”
His tongue grazed her ear.

“Can
step-siblings bond? Or is that forbidden?” A moment of panic welled up in her
chest.

“Relax.
The
re’s nothing wrong with it. Give me your mouth or
I’ll stick my tongue in your ear.”

“Only
if you want your genitals damaged.” GiNae grinned and slid beneath him as his
lips claimed hers.

She
felt her tunic lift, then sighed when she felt his hands on her
bare breasts again.

Are you going to take off your tunic
too?

Too? You mean you don’t mind?

GiNae
pushed him away and sat up, pulling the shirt over her head. “You’ve already
seen them, so why should we be uncomfortable?” With trembling fingers, she
remove
d the binding and set her breasts free.
Suddenly modest, she crossed her arms.

“Don’t.”
OkVei’s gentle voice stopped her. He drew his tunic over his own head and faced
her, the light sprinkling of violet hair catching the low lighting. “Don’t ever
hide you
r body from mine. You’re beautiful.” He
tugged her hands down.

GiNae
felt his fingertips stroke the contours of her breasts. She lifted a cautious
hand and traced his pectoral muscles with her index finger, marveling at how
his adult body had formed from t
he little boy’s she
used to help bathe.

OkVei
leaned closer and lowered her back among the pillows, touching and kissing
every inch of her face and torso, inviting her to do the same to his.

Time
slowed. GiNae marveled at the fact she felt no reservations
about exploring his body or allowing him to remove her
clothing. When OkVei slid his palms up her bare thigh, she eagerly bent her leg
and allowed him access, closing her eyes at the sensations churning in her
core.

She
arched against his hand when he tou
ched her
chi
, and moaned, then laughed when he tried
to move his leg and was tangled in her skirt fabric.

“Here.”
GiNae rolled away and worked the offending garment down her legs, watching as
OkVei unfastened his slacks, revealing a very impressive bulge i
n his military-issued undergarment. “What’s that? A binding
for your male parts?”

He
stretched out above her. “Yes. I wasn’t sure if you were ready for me to be
naked too.”

GiNae
traced the straps over his hips. “It seems a little funny if I’m the only one
. Go ahead and take it off.”

OkVei
released the clasp and GiNae could not stop the gasp as his organ sprang free,
wobbling dark blue at the bulbous tip and a lighter hue along the shaft where
it joined his dark purple pubic hair and twin crimson and purple
testicles.
He cupped his growing cock and leered at
her. “I think you know where this goes, but we don’t have to do that quite
yet.”

“Thank
gods.” GiNae swallowed. “That’s, uh, quite impressive. Can I touch it?”

“Of
course.”

Reaching
out a hand, she touch
ed the shaft, then traced the
tip, and startled when she felt moisture. “Is that normal?”

“Yes.”
His fingers covered hers as he showed her how to move her hand. OkVei lay down
beside her and turned on his side, facing her. His free hand traced the lips of
her pussy, dipping inside and stroking her
chi.
“I can feel you getting wetter, much
like what you’re doing to me.” OkVei’s voice was rough in her ear. “Oh sweet
Ginaresh…
oh yes…don’t stop.” His fingers moved
urgently into her pussy, and soon they both
panted
and moaned their release.

“Yuck!”
GiNae yanked her hand away as a sticky liquid flowed down her hand and
continued to spurt over her stomach. “Are you hurt?”

OkVei’s
eyes were closed as his chest heaved. “No, no. Go get a towel or something.
I’ll be
all right.”

GiNae
padded to the washroom and wet a cloth, then cleaned up her belly and hand,
then rinsed it, and returned to the bed. OkVei took it from her and cleaned his
cock, then tossed it onto the floor and drew her down again.

He
rolled on top of
her and kissed his way down her
body. GiNae startled when a finger snaked its way back into her pussy. “What
are you doing?”

“Loving
you. Lie still and enjoy it.”

She
squirmed as she lay spread-eagled while his head burrowed between her thighs.

“I
feel as
if I need to be doing something…oh!” GiNae
arched as his tongue danced inside her channel. “OkVei…oh gods…what are you
doing…don’t stop…oh gods…” She grabbed a hold of her pillows and pulled them
over her face, as a surge of overwhelming sensations grippe
d her. “OkVeeeeeeyyyyyyyy…” GiNae screamed. Flinging the
pillow aside, she twisted, blindly grabbing at the mattress as the relentless
pressure kept building. “Oh gods…don’t stop, don’t stop…oh my gods…oh OkVei…”
Her voice pitched higher, then all at once
she
crested and fell limp, trying to catch her breath.

A
chuckle caused her to open her eyes. OkVei flopped beside her, moisture
dripping from his facial hair.

“What’s
so funny?” GiNae thumped a weak fist against his shoulder.

“You
nearly tore my head off
. Next time I do that, I may
have to tie your legs to something.” OkVei wiped his face with his hand. “Whew.
I’ll be right back.” GiNae watched him stride toward her washroom, then heard
the sound of water running. She rolled onto her side, hugging her pil
low, already missing his body heat.

He
returned and tugged at the covers. “Why don’t we get under the blankets?”

“Do
you think we should?” GiNae bit her lip. “What if Mother returns and finds you
in here?”

OkVei
smiled. “This is normal, GiNae. Well, normal
enough
for this family anyway.” He tugged at the blankets.

With
a sigh, GiNae rolled off the bed and joined him under the covers, enjoying the
feel of their naked bodies pressed together, her head on his shoulder with one
arm around her. “What do you mean
, I nearly tore your
head off?” She traced the sparse sprinkle of lavender chest chair with a
fingertip.

“You
clamped my head between your knees when I hit the right spot, and damn near
didn’t let me go.” His chest shook with laughter.

GiNae
closed her eye
s and threw the blanket over her head,
then startled when he removed it. “So what did you mean when you said normal
for our family?” A horrible thought struck her. “You don’t mean…oh gods…our
parents
are…oh my gods!”

He
nodded. “I predict in the morning we
’ll find your
mother eating breakfast with my father.”

“They
have relaxed the rules lately.” GiNae told him about the somewhat shared
dinnertime.

“See?
It was bound to happen.” OkVei yawned. “Get some sleep. You have to work
tomorrow, and I have a few thin
gs I want to do before
I report back to the station at the end of the week.”

GiNae
nodded and tightened her arms around him.
I’m definitely going
to enjoy Maturity!

NiKoh
flung out his arm and encountered empty space. Opening one eye, he saw ViS
he with her back to him, fastening her dress.

“Good
morning.” His voice sounded gritty with sleep. Rolling to his side, he propped
his head up with an elbow. “ViShe? Are you all right?”

She
nodded.
I am fine.

What’s wrong?
Alarmed, NiKoh struggled out of b
ed.
Do you regret what
happened?

“Oh
gods, no.” ViShe swirled around, one hand pressed to her mouth. A few tears
leaked from her eyes. “We left our children to their own devices last night. I
have always been close to GiNae, since her father died, and I am
sensing great happiness in her, even though she’s still
asleep.”

“They’re
adults now.” NiKoh reached out to wipe her tears with his thumb. “All you have
to do is tell GiNae about the scan and get used to the idea your little girl is
growing up.” He pulled
her into his arms and patted
her back.

“Maybe
it’s different for men and boys. GiNae has always resisted growing up. You
should have heard the outcry when her body began to change, and when her
monthly flow began.” ViShe’s body relaxed against his.

“BeSai
wasn’t too happy when OkVei received his Maturity
training, but then again, he’s always been focused on getting his pilot’s
license.” NiKoh pressed a kiss to her head and changed the subject. “Why are
you up so early? Come back to bed.”

She
shook her head
and pulled away. “I was going to
teleport back to my room, to give the appearance of normalcy. But then I
checked on GiNae and…” Her voice broke.

He
took her hand and led her back to sit beside him on the bed. “In a normal
pre-bond situation, they would
spend several hours
together each day, then GiNae would receive instruction from her future mate’s
mother, concerning anything she needed to know, before they would set up a
dwelling together until their Bond Ceremony. I just watched my sister, KiRah,
go t
hrough this. Our children grew up together,
attended school and the Academy together, and for the next week, at least, are
living in close proximity.”

“You’re
saying this is a natural progression.” ViShe sighed and leaned against him.
“You’re right. When I
thought you and she—I took
comfort in the fact neither of you were in any hurry. Last night was an
indication I remember my own impatience.”
