“The bedroom’s right there.”

Michael lifted her into his arms, her legs wrapping instinctively around his waist as he carried her into her bedroom. Jordan cupped his face in her hands as she kissed him softly, losing herself to the feeling until her back hit the soft mattress. Her hands found their way down to his pants, making quick work of his belt buckle and the fly of his jeans, and pushed the denim down his hips. He hadn’t even managed to kick them off completely before her hand dove into his boxers, moaning as her fingers wrapped around his length, swiping over the drop of pre-cum as she started moving her hand up and down.

“As much as I know how you’d love to pay me back for what I did out there,” he started to say, words coming out in pants as he struggled to keep his control. “I’d really love nothing more than to fuck you right now.”

“I’m not stopping you.”

With a growl, he pulled her hand out of his boxers and forced it over her head. Her other hand quickly pushed to the same spot where he held her wrists under his palm. He skillfully got rid of his boxers and managed to pull her panties down her legs. Taking his cock in his hand, he swiped at her slit before pushing his way into her heat, moaning at how good she felt around him.

Jordan moaned as he filled her completely, stretching even more than what his fingers had done just moments earlier. “Fuck! That feels so good.”

Michael started to move in and out of her, keeping a slow and steady pace, not wanting to give in to the desire of fucking her senseless only for it to last a few short minutes. He groaned when she started to roll her hips in time to his thrusts, each time having him go deeper into her.

“You need to stop,” he said, pressing his forehead against hers. “I don’t wanna cum too soon.”

“We’ve got all night,” she argued, lips meeting his in an effort to convince him to give her what she wanted. She tried to wriggle her wrists free but he wouldn’t budge. “Please, Mike.”

Having her beg chipped away the last of his resolve, one hand letting go of her wrist so he could lean up against the bed, his arms on either side of her head. Her arms immediately went around his neck, clutching onto him for support as he started bucking his hips wildly. The sound of flesh hitting flesh echoed around the room as he buried himself to the hilt with every thrust.

He felt the familiar tension in his balls, clenching his teeth as he tried to hold off, not wanting to reach his climax and leaving her unsatisfied. Reaching down between their bodies, his fingers found her clit and rubbed circles against it in tune with the pace of his thrusts. Her head thrashed from side to side at the friction he was causing. Her walls began to contract around him, getting tighter as the seconds passed. She couldn’t even get the words out of her mouth, her orgasm wracking her body in waves. He pulled out of her seconds later, his hand stroking at his cock frantically until jets of creamy liquid squirted onto her stomach.

Holding himself up against one arm, he leaned down to capture her lips in a quick soft kiss. He groaned when she swiped a finger on her stomach to gather his seed before lifting it up to her mouth to get a taste.

Rolling a little off to the side, he collapsed beside her on the bed, taking in ragged breaths. “You are gonna be the death of me.”

“Can we do that again before you keel over and die?” she asked jokingly, eliciting a hearty laugh from him.

Turning to his side, Michael put a hand under her chin and pulled her in for a kiss. “You know,” he said as he pulled away. “When I moved here, I totally didn’t expect any of this to happen?”

“This?”

“Actually liking it here, meeting a great girl, having sex with her.”

“Is that a bad thing?”

“Far from it,” he said, giving her another quick kiss. “I say that’s definitely a good thing. A great thing.”

“You better say that,” she grumbled mockingly.

She pursed her lips, silently asking for another kiss which he gladly gave to her. As he went to pull away, she put a hand behind his head and kept him in place, her mouth moving over his to deepen the kiss. Her taste quickly invaded his senses as he lost himself in the kiss, his tongue darting out to lick at the seam of her lips, waiting to be granted entrance.

“Welcome to Chicago,” she said with a smirk.

“Is that what this is?”

“Don’t worry,” Jordan said with a sly grin, her hand stroking the back of his head comfortingly. “You’re welcome to it over and over again, any time you want.”
Heat

Lauren Ramsey wiped at her brow as she walked up to the small building. She wanted nothing more than to step out of the blazing sun and into the refuge of her office where there was a roof over her head and air conditioning to cool her skin. Summers were always hot in Texas but the heat wave they had going right now was downright ridiculous.

All her hopes of feeling better away from the summer heat were dashed once she stepped into the building, the lack of a cool breeze against her skin alerting her that something was very wrong. “You have got to be kidding me,” she grumbled to herself.

“I’d say we are but that would just be one cruel joke that I don’t really want to take part of,” the receptionist said. “Sorry to say, but the air conditioning is definitely broken.”

“Is someone coming to fix it?” she asked.

“I already called but there wasn’t any answer,” was not the reply that she wanted to hear. “Just hope to whatever god you may have that your appointments cancel on you to avoid going out into the sun and that we can all go home early.”

With that, Lauren stalked off further into the office space, dropping her bag down carelessly onto the floor. The sound caused her partner, Matthew Carthage to raise his head off the architecture desk to look at her.

“Your anger is directly proportional to how pathetic I feel right now,” he mumbled. “I think my brain’s melted and stained the blueprints for the Monroe project.”

“Dude, that is not an image I want in my head,” she said, her face distorted into a look of disgust. She playfully stuck her tongue out at him when his head dropped back down to his desk with a soft thud. Pulling a new sheet of tracing paper, she went about pulling a new design from her mind in an effort to get her thoughts away from the discomfort of the heat and humidity.

Lauren and Matthew were long time friends who had opened up a small architecture and design firm together. They both managed to find work with bigger and more established firms from other parts of the country but it was their dream to go back to their hometown and open up their own business. Once they managed to gain a certain level of success and got their name out to potential clients, the two had decided to make the dream a reality and opened up RC Designs. So far, it was just them and the receptionist, Michelle, who were working under the company name but they had a good number of partners who were helping get their name around and projects lifted off the ground.

“We’re not poor, right?” Michelle asked, her voice sounding quite distant despite being just a few feet away.

“What the hell kind of question is that?” Matthew asked incredulously.

“I’m just asking because I wanna make sure that it’s not gonna hurt the company when I go to the nearest appliance store during my lunch break and buy a new air conditioner or a dozen electric fans.”

“Try calling the repair company again,” Lauren suggested.

“Already did while he was disgusting you with mental images of his brain oozing out of his ears and onto his blueprints,” the receptionist replied. “Still no answer.”

“Keep trying,” Matthew said. “If there’s still nothing when lunch rolls around, you’re free to splurge on those fans.”

And that’s how they went. Every 30 minutes, Michelle would make a call to the repair company, her frustrations growing when she still received no answer. Lauren and Matthew were too deep in their work and too annoyed with the heat to share her anger, choosing to focus on the tasks in front of them instead of expending what little energy they had left to whine about the unanswered phone calls.

The only good part of the day seemed to be how their two appointments had decided to cancel, leaving them with a light load for the day.

“Why don’t you go home, Chelle?” Matthew said. “We can field whatever calls come in. There’s no sense in all three of us having to sit here and suffer.”

“You two don’t wanna go home?” Michelle asked.

“Oh we do,” Lauren said with a low chuckle. “But we can’t be like that repair company and leave our clients hanging in case someone calls. James just offered you a reprieve. Take it and go jump into a tub of ice for me when you get home.”

“You guys are awesome!” the receptionist said with as much enthusiasm as she could muster. “I’ll go look for other repair companies when I get home or look into buying new air conditioning units. I’ll see you tomorrow. Please don’t die from heat stroke.”

Throughout the rest of the day, the two architects looked for ways to cool themselves down. They had tried opening the windows first, in hopes of letting a breeze in, only to realize that the heat from outside only managed to make the office even hotter. When lunch time rolled around, they decided to forego having to leave to get food or even calling for delivery, opting to eat whatever leftover food was in the small refrigerator in the office without reheating them.

As the day dragged on, they had started shedding clothes – his button up shirt, her blouse, his undershirt, her tank top, his pants, her slacks – leaving him in his boxers and her in a sports bra and boy-leg panties. If anyone had walked into their office at that moment, they’re business would definitely be put into question. But Matthew and Lauren had been friends for so long that seeing each other in various states of undress, save for being completely naked, was almost completely natural to them.

When stripping their clothes proved to be of little help, she got the idea of using ice cubes to run over her skin. She quickly got out of her seat and made the short walk to the makeshift kitchen, popping the tray and pulling a cube. His gaze followed her every move, curious as to what she was up to. His eyes nearly popped out of his head when she leaned against the counter, eyes closed and head cocked to one side as she dragged the ice cube down the column of her neck before dipping down into the valley of her breasts and back up the other side of her neck.

“That feels so fucking good,” she moaned in pleasure.

His eyes rolled to the back of his head at the sound of her voice. A shot of desire going directly to his groin. It wasn’t a completely foreign feeling to him. She was an attractive girl and he was a hot-blooded male. But they were friends for the most part and later became business partners, leaving him no room to act on his wanton needs just for the sake of pleasure.

“You should try this, Matty,” she called out.

He bit back a groan at how his nickname fell from her lips, the breathy tone making him think of what she could sound like in a whole different reason for calling out his name.

He was concentrating so hard on keeping himself in check that he failed to notice how she had come up behind him, gasping in shock when he felt the coldness of an ice cube meeting the back of his neck. He sat up stiffly as she dragged the cube across his shoulders, leaving a wet trail against his heated skin.

“Feels good, right?”

“Definitely,” he answered, his voice close to being a moan.

He closed his eyes and reveled in the feeling of her dragging the cube all over his neck and back, completely oblivious to the look on her face.

Lauren furiously bit down on her bottom lip as he succumbed to what she was doing. Here she was, rubbing an ice cube up and down his chiseled form. Whatever coolness she had gotten from having done the same thing to herself a few moments earlier had disappeared the moment he practically moaned in pleasure, an aching heat settling between her legs. She wanted nothing more than to lick the wet trails the ice was leaving on his skin.

Once the ice had completely melted, she stepped away from him, not wanting to put herself in a more compromising situation than she already had. She knew that the longer she stayed that close to him, the more likely she was to make a complete fool of herself.

“I definitely need more of that,” he mumbled before getting up from his seat and walking to the kitchen to fetch himself more ice.

It was her turn to have her eyes nearly bulge out of her head, but unlike Matthew, Lauren wasn’t quite able to restrain herself from bringing the attention on her as an audible gasp leaving her lips. He followed to where her gaze seemed to be fixated on, blushing when he realized that his erection was clear as day, making a tent in his boxers.

“Uh,” he stammered. “Can we pretend that you didn’t see that?”

“Why? I have to say that I’m quite impressed,” she said, trying to make light of the situation.

Being friends for so long, he quickly caught on to what she had intended. “Well thanks,” he stated, a slight airiness to his tone. “But you know, we can’t exactly make the heat go away with this,” he continued, waving his hand in front of his crotch. “I say that only makes things infinitely hotter.”

Whatever joking mood they tried to create to make things less awkward only served to push their minds further into the gutter. A tense silence washed over them as each contemplated on what to say next. His eyebrows raised in curiosity when her eyes suddenly lit up, as if an idea had formed in her head. Without a single word, she walked over to where he stood in the kitchen, leaving him mesmerized at how her hips swung seductively from one side to the other with each step she took.

“What are you up to?” he asked distractedly, trying to make sense of what she was doing taking out all the ice cubes from the tray and pouring them into a bowl.

“I just figured out a way that we can take care of both our problems,” she replied cryptically.

He tore his eyes away from her form and stared into the open space of their office, her words spinning in his head. He was trying so hard to focus on something else that he was once again surprised when she appeared in front of him. But before anything could be spoken, she pulled his head down, forcing his lips upon hers.

His eyes widened in shock, both in the suddenness of her actions and the coldness of her lips. When she forced her tongue past his lips, he quickly discovered that she had popped an ice cube into her mouth, creating the cool sensation that invaded his senses.

He breathed in sharply when her fingers, cold from handling the ice, danced across his stomach. The vibrations that rippled through her chest as she giggled told him that she had done it on purpose. Blindly reaching for the bowl of ice, he took a cube between his fingers. His arm found its way around her waist, pushing her body flush against his as he deepened the kiss. Unsuspectingly, she relaxed against him, reveling in how his mouth had taken dominance over hers. A squeal tore through her throat when he trailed the ice cube in his hand down her spine.

“That is just cruel,” she mumbled against his lips.

He smirked down at her before replying. “No,” he said. “What’s cruel is that we’re just now doing this.”

“You wanted me, huh?” she asked teasingly, thinking that they were just falling into the usual joking demeanor of their friendship, leaving her utterly surprised by his answer.

“Oh yeah,” he said confidently. “I’ve wanted you for a long time. I just didn’t want to do anything that would ruin our relationship.”

After getting over her initial shock, Lauren took a chance to get serious and asked “So what’s changed now?”

Matthew quirked his lip to one side, in the look he got when he was deep in thought, as he tried to come up with an answer. “The way I see it,” he said after a few moments of silence. “We’re in this odd predicament that we can’t control and we’re left vulnerable. There’s no way I can hide my situation,” he said, pulling her hips even closer against his, his hard on pressing against her stomach to remind her of just what he meant. “And instead of looking disgusted, you actually reacted quite nicely,” he continued with a bright smile, no doubt referring to her planting a kiss on him. “So now I say, why fight something that we both obviously want?”
