350 TAKE PART IN AMATEUR COMEDY NIGHT.
Okay, so you may get heckled. Or you may wow the crowd and get a regular job doing stand up. Possibly nerve-wracking but always entertaining, this could turn into a career that would keep you in stitches.

351 WORK AS A VENTRILOQUIST.
Do you possess the creepy ability to throw your voice? The only way to make it better is to buy a strange-looking doll and involve it in your act. While you may always be known as the person who lives with their hand up a lamb's ass (sorry, Shari Lewis), you'll have the privilege of entertaining the type of people who find that kind of thing funny.

352 WORK IN A CIVIL WAR REENACTMENT.
You'd think people would rather move past the pain of war but you'd be wrong. Civil War buffs are a devoted group and shell out big bucks to watch actors reenact famous battles. If you think this would interest you (or you just love those funny pants), try getting work in a war reenactment — but leave your musket at work.

353 WORK IN A HAUNTED HOUSE.
If the idea of scaring strangers is appealing to you and you need a temporary job, try auditioning for a role as a haunted house actor. You could end up as a demented innkeeper or a tortured monster. But don't underestimate the possibility of nightmares. Not from the actual haunted house, but the screaming kids you have to deal with nightly.

354 WORK IN A RENAISSANCE FAIR.
Do you like fake British accents (Hey, Madonna!) and big ol' turkey legs? Try getting hired as a Renaissance fair worker. The music's not great and the overly enthusiastic coworkers can be a bit wearing, but you can get a pretty good mead buzz while you're making some extra cash.

355 PLAY A PART IN A COLONIAL VILLAGE.
Unlike a Renaissance fair (where, oddly enough, people go to party medieval style), most people who go visit colonial villages do so to learn a thing or two. If you're a history buff and like wearing funny clothes, audition to be a character actor. Plimoth Plantation is the crème de la crème of colonial villages, but you're better off working your way up to there.
