, how considerate.” I thanked him and smiled the way I was accustomed when pretending to flirt with a man. Was I pretending? It had been a long time since I had been with a man. Maybe tonight was Marco’s lucky night. Maybe not.

“Sometimes I see you out and about and I think you have come just to run into me.” He said with the hugest lust-filled smile.

“There’s a thought.”

“Yes it is. There aren’t many men to choose, it must be me you seek.”

“Well of course it couldn’t be my love of philanthropy and art. It has to be something as basic as a man.”

“You slay me

. Oh how I would love to slay you.”

“I never got that impression from our previous encounters.” He smiled at my blatant stab at sarcasm. I took a small sip of champagne.

“I think you are much too intelligent for me.”

“Really? You have given my brain some thought?”

“Yes, I’ve given all your assets thought.”

My flirting was cut short when my father contacted me via text with two words. [YELLOW GHOST]

Frank and I boarded a private jet and we flew back to the burbs.

It’s time for some action.

It’s time I make my presence known.

Time to turn into the Yellow Ghost.

Apparently Conrad hadn’t paid my Father the money he owed at the agreed upon time it was due. Crossing my Father is never a good thing. Conrad Pendelton will have to learn this the hard way. I have to take his son.

Finally I would get to meet the man of the hour, Benicio Pendelton.

Taking him was easy. I did it in broad daylight with only Frank and my guy another guy Miguel. I shot him at close range with a tranquilizer dart right outside his place of business. He went down without a fight. Benicio didn’t even know what hit him. I put enough drugs in his system to knock him out for three hours. He looked so calm when he was knocked out asleep. His blonde hair was a ruffled mess.

I’m a little excited. I’m very impatient. I wanted to wake him up with a bang. I dressed for the occasion. Time to start this interrogation. I could give him a little slap but that wouldn’t be my style. I punched him in the head with my closed fist. That’s how I say hello.

“Wake up sleepy head.” I commanded. It was time to get this rodeo started.

Maybe this book will give readers in-depth insight into the character. If you haven’t read the first book it is the perfect setup to help you navigate through La Femme Selita. I actually think you should read La Femme Selita first, maybe because it was written first. I am currently writing the second and final book entitled La Belle Selita due out November 2015. I took a break from The Truth Behind the Lies 2 but I’m writing that now also. A lot of readers are patiently waiting for the conclusion of the Selita books.
