“You don’t have to—whoa.” He ended the sentence on a groan as I sucked the tip of his dick into my mouth, swirling my tongue around it. I smiled, knowing I had him, and took him into my mouth again. His fingers tangled in my hair, but he didn’t pull. It was almost like he was just steadying himself by keeping his hands on me.

It only took a few minutes before he stopped me. His eyes were wild, filled with heat and need. He hauled me up his body. He cupped my face and kissed me like he wanted to devour me. When we split for breath, I whispered, “I wasn’t done yet.”

He shook his head. “I’m not coming in your mouth. Not this time. I want you.”

“You have me,” I told him. He lifted me by the hips and my wetness gave him easy passage inside me. We both groaned loudly. I nearly tumbled over the edge just from the feel of him inside me. “Let me love you.” I rocked my hips, my clit brushing against the base of his shaft.

His eyes were only half open, his breathing labored as we moved together. His fingers dug into my hips, but I didn’t mind the pain.

I trailed my hands over his chest, feeling the tight muscles beneath my palms. His slid over my hips to my thighs until his thumbs rested at the apex. He kept me steady as I lifted until the head of his cock was barely inside, and then fell on it again. I kept up steady strokes, tightening my insides so the channel milked him, massaged the hard erection as he thrust up to meet my movements. His thumb circled the bundle of nerves as I moved, faster and faster as I lost my breath and I could feel the spasms start inside me.

“I’m going to lose it, Addison.” He wrapped an arm around me and flipped us. He sat on his haunches and kept me close, bouncing me in his lap with hard, fast strokes that hit the right spot until lightning struck my eyes and heat passed over my body. All my muscles pulsed with electricity and I came undone. It was a catalyst for him. He dug his teeth into my shoulder and moaned as warmth filled my insides, which set me off into aftershock orgasms I wasn’t expecting.

His breathing was heavy, labored as he gathered me close. We didn’t move for long moments. I wrapped my legs around him, shuddering in tiny aftershocks as he softened inside me. He didn’t have to say anything. I read it in his body as his fingers dug into my skin, and he held me close, like he was afraid I’d vanish if he didn’t.

“I love you,” he whispered against the skin on my neck. “I feel like I ran a marathon, but I’m glad you’re at the finish line.”

Author’s Afterword

Thank you so much for reading Wounded Courage! I hope you enjoyed Murphy and Addison’s story! Murphy has a special place in my heart, because when I first thought up Lucky Thirteen, Murphy was the first hero that came to me. Now I knew he needed a little more time, so Brody got his book first, but Eamon Murphy will always hold a very special place in my heart.
