“The problem looming over our heads is the no-condom incident a few days ago.” She watched as he undid the polish remover and dabbed a cotton ball. “I had a meeting with a judge that is about to retire, and he wants to nominate me for his position. I seriously doubt you want to be a stay-at-home daddy, so what are we going to do if this is happening?”

He took the silver colour off her toes and set the used cotton aside. “You don’t know if you’re pregnant. Until you find out, why are we talking about this?”

“Because it’s not okay.”

He licked his lips and unscrewed the top of the polish. “You want an abortion.”

He didn’t like the idea. His ex-girlfriend had had one without him even knowing and he’d felt like an idiot for actually giving a fuck about it. He saw some of the same demeanour with Addison. She didn’t want a child. She’d accused him of leaving her. She wanted to focus on her career instead of family.

“I don’t necessarily.” She propped her hands on her knees. “I just need to know where we stand. All of this is moving fast and it’s great for the most part. But I cannot take on a commitment like this on my own if you’re not willing to do the same.”

He glanced up. “What do you want? Marriage?”

Addison flexed her toes on his leg. “I’m being serious and you’re making this a joke. Marriage is not a reality. I just… Oh, forget it.”

The sleek red colour went on smoothly as he stroked the brush against her nails. He’d never done something like this for a woman and he wasn’t sure he’d ever do it again. Lila had told him a while back that women liked to be pampered. He did pay attention to some of the small things she did, like changing her nail polish to match her outfit of the day. This colour went perfectly with the bright red lingerie sitting in his dresser, thus his inspiration for requesting the hue. Even so, he figured she’d like him doing something for her that he wouldn’t ever admit to anyone that he’d done. The way she watched him work proved that much.

He blew lightly on the wet polish. “I
am
being serious.” He met her eyes. “I told you that you are mine. If you want me to be a stay-at-home dad then, fuck me, I’ll do it.”

She smiled. “Yeah, right. You can’t fit a car seat on the back of a Harley.”

He switched to the other foot. “Fine. I’ll say this. You are not and will not ever be alone. Whatever happens.”

She didn’t respond immediately and when she did, her tone remained soft. “I actually believe you, which is not easy for me. Don’t mess with me.”

“I’m not.” He painted the rest of her nails and capped the polish. Setting it aside, he cleaned up his mess and returned to the bed.

“I never would have thought you’d ever be willing to do something like painting my toenails for me.”

He settled in, pulling the covers over them both. “If you tell anyone, I’ll paddle your ass. Now it’s my turn.”

She chuckled. “Your turn for what? Me painting your nails?”

“Questions.” He moved over her and reached for her breast, planting a kiss against the tip. She gasped. “Tell me about your family.”

“I’m an only child. My dad is a judge in Palm Beach. My mom is a nurse.”

He pulled her nipple between his lips and sucked. Addison cupped the back of his head, tossing her head back against the pillows.

He let her go with a pop. “Were they shitty parents or decent parents?”

She blinked, obviously working hard to comprehend his questions. “Good. I looked up to my dad. My mom was a little disappointed in me that I went to law school instead of nursing school.”

He moved between her legs. “When did you lose your virginity?”

She grinned. “I don’t know.”

“Liar.” His mouth found her neglected nipple and gave it adequate attention. When he lifted his head, Addison stared back at him. “Tell me.”

“I was twenty-something.”

Something
needs to be more specific.”

“Three.”

He did some quick math in his head. “That prick was your first?”

She writhed, obviously feeling uncomfortable. “Why are we talking about this?”

Mason brushed his fingers down her middle. “Because I want to know. Have you had a lover since the prick who told you that you were a lousy lay?”

She didn’t respond immediately and Mason glanced up at her. “Babe, why is this an issue for you? You really took that prick’s words to heart?”

“Mase, I don’t want to talk about it.”

He laid on his side facing her. “How many years has it been?”

“I’ve been practising for five. It was my second year of law school so…seven.”

He blinked a few times. Seven years of celibacy. He would have never made it.

“Do you really think you’re a lousy lay?”

She met his eyes. “Compared to some of your other lovers, probably.”

He shook his head. “Addison, you’re a smart woman, but you’re not using your brain with this.” He smoothed his hand down her body and cupped her. “This is what I want. It has nothing to do with either of our pasts. You want me to send him a note? Rough him up a little bit?”

He slid his finger inside her, annoyed with how she saw herself. Never once did he ever think she’d be anything but what he wanted.

She clenched her thighs together. “You’re not beating anyone up on my behalf. If anyone gets to do the beating, it’s me, and I’m not into menial violence.” She opened her legs and tugged at Mason’s shoulders until he moved between her thighs. “I don’t want to talk about all this shit. Not when I’m in bed with you.”

He pinned her arms to her sides. “Now, that’s where you’re wrong. This is the only place we’re going to talk about this shit. Our bed. You and me alone and away from the world.”

He moved so that he could free his hand and still keep her restrained. “Don’t ever feel embarrassed or that you’re not good enough for me, Addy. You’re mine and I’m yours. If you can’t trust me, then we have some serious problems.”

He reached for the box of condoms and pulled one out. The overwhelming need to protect her coursed through his body. He set the rubber on her bare stomach and met her eyes.

“Do you trust me?”

“Yes.”

“Then don’t ever bring that prick’s opinion up again or any of the girls at the club.”

Mason pulled her nipple between his teeth, scraping it lightly. Addison sighed as he rolled his tongue around it, her pussy growing wet against him. He switched to the other side, his hands still pinning hers to the mattress. He wanted her. It didn’t matter how many times he had her, either. He wanted to sink into her tight pussy and never leave.

He pressed kisses down her body, his tongue snaking out to taste her skin. He smiled and sat up on his knees, watching as she spread her legs for him in invitation. He let her hands go and rolled the condom on his cock.

“On your stomach.”

Addison didn’t hesitate. She rolled to her front and waited. Mason pulled her leg around him and lifted her hips up. He’d had her just about every way imaginable. She was adventuresome, trying every position he threw at her. She liked fucking against the wall the most, which honestly surprised him.

He smoothed a hand along her back. He gripped his cock and pushed against her swollen pussy lips. She was wet enough for him to take her. He pushed in gently.

“Your ass is perfect.”

She clutched the sheets beside her head. “Not really.”

God, he loved the sight of his cock disappearing inside her, her ass rosy from his hands. He withdrew slightly and pushed back in gently.

“Why the fuck are you going so slowly?” Her breaths came in pants.

“Now who’s greedy?” He didn’t increase the pace, continuing to torment them both with his slow speed.

He didn’t do slow sex often, but taking the time to feel the way Addison gripped him, the way his cock fit inside her, the pleasure that came as a result, made it damn well worth it. Little sounds left her lips adding to his pleasure. Something about making her happy, making her feel sated, gave him pleasure.

He gripped her hips and withdrew slowly, smiling as her pussy hugged him tightly, as though Addison didn’t want him to go. He understood to a better degree that she needed to feel loved. It was also something he struggled with. Emotions didn’t play much into his life, at least not his relationships. He didn’t know the first thing about love, but if Addison needed it, he’d try to figure it out.

“Harder, Mason.”

He lifted her hips and slammed into her. Addison cried out at the sheer force of him filling her to the brim. He loved it. The headboard of the bed bounced against the wall as he moved inside her, taking her hard and deep like he knew she liked—like he knew they both liked. Damn, he’d had her time and again, but he still wanted more. He was greedy for her little pussy and he didn’t know if he’d ever shake the habit.

She started to tighten around him. He had to hold still or he’d come and he didn’t want to come just yet. She clutched at the sheets. He wanted to last, but the sight of her, the feel of her, tested his control.

“You are so fucking hot.” He withdrew and pushed inside her. “How could you ever think that a man wouldn’t like fucking you? It’s all I want to do.”

He shoved in, rapidly approaching his own climax. Every bit of him tensed as he tried to prolong the feeling of being inside her, of her warmth and her wetness surrounding him. God, he really didn’t know how he’d lived this long without her.

His orgasm hit him full force, starting at the back of his brain and ending at the tip of his cock. Every part of him felt the pleasure she gave him. He struggled to remain upright and collapsed on top of her when his muscles gave out.

He kissed the centre of her back. “Addy, you have no fucking clue what you do to me.”

He reluctantly withdrew and pulled the condom off. She rolled to her back and stared up at him. “I think I have an idea.”

He pulled her to him and situated the blankets over them. He flipped off the light and pulled her close, feeling comforted by her presence. With everything that had gone on that day, he needed this. It’d been a rare occasion that he actually slept beside a woman, but he couldn’t imagine not sleeping with her. While in prison, he’d dreamed about the day when he eventually would and it didn’t even compare to the real thing.

His own emotions scared him. Today, he’d realised just how deeply they ran for her. He didn’t let anyone in easily, and even when he did, he really didn’t. Addison was chiselling away at his barriers and he was getting to the point of being too fucking helpless to stop her.

She fell asleep almost immediately, and despite his fatigue, Mason stayed awake wondering what he should do about it. She said marriage was unrealistic, which he assumed meant bad for her career. An outlaw motorcycle club president married to a potential judge. Yeah, that wouldn’t set any alarm bells off in the community.

Mason sighed and pulled her tighter against him. Whatever they’d started, he knew he was in over his head and there would be no easy way out.

* * * *

Addison had left town with that douchebag and Jesse couldn’t stand it. He couldn’t bear the thought anymore of her allowing that dumb biker to put his hands on her. No one could be with Addison like Jesse knew he could be. He was made for her, and she was perfect for him. He simply knew it. He just needed her to realise it before she did something stupid or that dumb fuck got her killed.

Jesse paced his living room trying to figure out how he could make her see the truth. To Addison, Mason was a sexual adventure. Why else would she be with him? She still wanted to fuck a biker because they were obviously awesome in bed, and he’d had numerous women to prove it. Yeah, right. Jesse ran his fingers through his hair. His anxiety was building and he had yet to fill his prescription. He didn’t need to let it get out of hand. Not when he needed to prove to the woman he loved that Mason was the devil himself.

The Wicked Angel moniker spoke volumes attesting to Mason’s true character. From everything that Jesse knew about the club, Mason was far from being an angel and definitely wicked at that. Jesse drummed his fingers on his kitchen countertops in search of something to cool his anxiety. He didn’t need to flip out right now. He reached for a bag of chips and decided to focus on plotting his next move.

Addison was an uncompromising, factual person who depended on logic to move her through situations. He’d seen that many times while she was in court. If there was any flaw in the logic, Addison drilled that flaw into the ground, proving that there was some possibility that the State Attorney’s Office could be wrong. Once she created that doubt, she was damn good at winning over the jury with her charm.

But to win Addison over, Jesse needed hardcore evidence that couldn’t be disputed. He ran his hand through his hair. The only thing he could come up with was to follow Mason out on club business and film him doing whatever he did. But even that had its disputes with modern technology. Jesse had seen Addison rip apart video evidence before, claiming it was edited to suit the needs of the supposed victim instead of telling the truth about what really happened.

So where did that leave him?

Jesse chomped down on a potato chip, trying to determine what needed to be done. The only way to prove Mason’s true identity to Addison was to get him to show it to her face to face. Jesse knew provoking an angry bear could lead to no good, but it seemed like the best option. He’d tried once before at her office, but it had backfired when Mason had remained compliant. He needed something to really set off his anger and that something had to be strong enough to get him to react harshly. A simple fight wouldn’t lure Addison away from Mason. No, Jesse needed to come up with something better.

With Marco in jail, he didn’t have much to work with. He didn’t know many of the other Skulls members, but it wouldn’t be too difficult to get one of them to be the scapegoat for his plan. Kidnapping Addison seemed like a good way to start. Mason would fight tooth and nail to get her back from the scum, especially if it meant that Addison could potentially be harmed.

And she would be. Jesse knew any warm-blooded man with a working cock would want to fuck Addison in every way possible. It would give her the opportunity to see Mason’s character and allow Jesse to come out as her rescuer at the same time. He just needed Marco’s help.
