That’s actually not a bad idea.
It’s only nine o’clock and I know most malls are open until ten.  Besides that, there’s no way I can watch him move around on that stage with as worked up as I am right now.  I walk back to his room, grab my purse and the car keys and set off for the store.

Lucas

I run off stage and toward my dressing room as soon as the show is over.  Becca had left after the first song, and I can’t explain it, but something just felt off when I would look out into the crowd and not see her.  When I open the door to the dressing room it’s empty.
Where the hell could she have gone?

I pick up my phone to see if I have any missed calls or texts from her and there’s one text message.  It’s a picture of a Victoria’s Secret shopping bag with a message that says, “You left me hanging, now it’s your turn…”  My mouth drops open and I’m out the door.  I grab Casey and tell him I need a ride back to the hotel…
now.

Whose
idea was it to book my hotel twenty minutes from the venue?
Casey is looking at me like I’m crazy because I’m fidgeting like a damn crack addict.  As soon as he pulls up to the hotel I yell out a quick thanks, jump out of the car, and make a run for the elevator.  I’m tempted to take the stairs up to our floor but the elevator finally shows up.  When I get to our room I head straight for the bedroom but she isn’t there. Instead, I find a note on the bed, and as soon as I read it I yell out in frustration.

Luke,

You tested my patience by getting me all worked up earlier and then leaving me. Your turn is still not over yet. I’ve changed rooms and I will send you one digit of the room number every fifteen minutes. See you soon!

“Fuck!” My phone beeps and it’s Becca.

Becca: Patience, patience…The first digit of the room number is 1

That means that she’s on one of the higher floors because there are no rooms on the first floor.  I pace the room and think of all of the ways I can get her back for this.  My cock is so damn hard that I think it might rip a hole in my jeans; I need to find her
soon
.  My phone beeps again.

Becca: The next digit is 5…

She’s on the fifteenth floor.
Fuck this waiting shit, I’m going to bust down every damn door on fifteen until I find her.
I take the elevator up and start at 1500 then work my way down.  I’ve knocked on every damn door on the floor before my phone beeps again.

Becca: The next digit is 3

I know this already, though, because room 1530 is the last room on the fucking floor.  I’ve knocked on every damn one of the others; gotten called a pervert twice, had to sign autographs once, scared two housekeepers, and had one guy hit on me.  I am so beyond ready for her to open the damn door; I pound on it so hard I think it might break, but she still doesn’t answer.  When I hear my phone I’m almost scared to look at it.

Becca: You’re cheating…and cheaters never win

Me: If you don’t open this damn door Becca I’ll break it down and fuck you while they are putting a new one on.

After a few seconds I hear the deadbolt turn and the door opens a crack.  I can’t wait for her anymore and shove it open the rest of the way myself.  She’s standing there, covered only in black lace.  It looks like a bra at first, pushing her beautiful tits up and making them look even better.  Upon closer inspection, it continues down to hug her tiny waist and flares out at her hips, just short enough that I can see the bottom part of her incredible ass.

I slam her up against the wall and kick the door shut.  “You know, it really was unfair what you did, Becca.  I
will
tell you one thing, though; all that waiting gave me plenty of time to think about your punishment.”

Her eyes get wide.  “Punishment?”

I drop my head and go straight for her neck, biting gently as I make my way from side to side.  She throws her arms around my shoulders and I move down to her breasts.  I trace the peaks of them with my tongue, gently nipping every now and then.  “Yes, your punishment.  I’ve told you many times that you’re mine, Becca.  You can’t tease me like that; it’s not fair.”

“Oh, but
you
can…”  I slam my mouth against hers, not giving her a chance to defend herself.  I pull back to take in her outfit one more time.  I run my hands down her sides then back up to cup her breasts.  I slip my fingers under the material and before she realizes what’s happening I rip it in half.  “Luke! What the…”  I kiss her again.

“The time for talking is over, Becca.”  I pick her up, throw her over my shoulder, and make my way over to the bed.  I lay her face down, and before she can move, I’ve situated myself over her.  I bend down low so I can whisper in her ear, “I’ve been waiting for this since the first message you sent me, baby.  I just need to let you know there will be nothing sweet and tender about this.  I’m going to fuck you so hard that even if you try to hide from me tomorrow you’ll have a hard time walking.”

She lifts her ass against me, letting me know that she wants this just as much as I do.  I sit up on my knees and take in the sight of her willing and ready for me, it’s almost enough to make me come before we even start.  I run my hands down her back until I reach her ass, then I lift my hand up and spank her hard.  She yelps and tries to turn to face me but I’m still on top of her.

“What the hell, Luke?!”

I lean down again and begin to kiss a line down her spine.  “I told you that I would punish you, baby, and I meant it.  Don’t worry, though, because once we’re done I’ll make it feel so fucking good.”  I repeat the pattern again: spanking her, then kissing her back all the way down to the part of her ass I had smacked.  The reddish color of her skin is turning me on even more.  After the fifth time, I reach down and cup her pussy; she’s dripping wet.

I insert two fingers, circling them and opening her up for me.  “You’re so damn wet, baby.  You liked it, didn’t you?”  She doesn’t answer me so I stop moving my fingers.  She tries to rub against me to get the friction that she desperately wants but I hold her still.  “No, Becca, I want to hear you say it.”

“Ugh! I liked it, okay?!”

I begin to move my fingers again and she moans.  The second I pinch her clit between my fingers she screams and finds her release.  Without giving her any time to recover, I pull her to her knees.  I have to have her
now
.  I quickly remove my pants and pull back, slamming into her so hard that her knees buckle.  I grab her waist, holding her tight against me so she can adjust.

I notice that her hair is pulled back and grab it, using it to lift her up and pull her so that she’s almost at the same height as me.  I run my tongue down her neck causing her to grind against me with need that I can’t believe she still has in her.  Her arms reach back and her hands wrap around the back of my neck as she arches herself into me even further.  I release her hair and move both of my hands to her breasts, rolling her nipples in between my fingers.  She’s writhing against me and I can’t hold back any longer; I push her back down to the bed and begin to pound in and out of her.   I’m pulling her hips back with every thrust to increase the depth and force.  She’s moaning so loud and gripping the bed sheets so hard that I’m surprised she hasn’t shredded them.  I can feel her muscles start to contract around me and I know that she’s close to another orgasm, and with all of my pent up frustration, I am, too.

I reach around her to play with her clit again and she explodes, yelling my name in the aftermath.  That’s all it takes to finish me off and after a couple more thrusts, I empty myself into her.  She immediately collapses on the bed, unable to hold herself up anymore, and I lay down beside her.  She turns to face me, and when she does, she has one of the most content smiles on her face that I have ever seen.

It amazes me every day how much I love her.  Sure, everyone else thinks I’m crazy because we haven’t known each other long.  Casey was right, though; it doesn’t matter how long you know someone, your heart decides when you fall in love, and for Becca and me it just happened a lot sooner.

The only thing that really surprises me is how fast I was willing to let her in.  I’ve dropped most of my friends because they only want to use me for their own benefit.  The girls really weren’t any different, either.  Becca is the first person I’ve ever met that doesn’t want anything from me.  Even when I try to force acts of kindness on her, like giving her money, she finds a way to rebel and pulls a stunt like she did tonight.  No one I’ve ever met can stand up to how amazing she is.

*****

It’s been three days since the last show and we’re in my hometown.  We have a show tonight and then I’m taking Becca to my family’s house for the weekend.  She’s nervous, but I know that they’ll love her.  I think when I take time off after the tour we might come back for a week or so.  I’m looking forward to my mini vacation more than anything else.  I’ll get to spend every day with Becca, enjoying the things most ‘normal’ couples get to enjoy together.

When I broke the news to Mike last night I thought his head was going to burst into a million pieces.  He gave me the speech about how I’m ruining my life and throwing my career away for some girl, but there are a couple of things he doesn’t understand.  First of all, waiting two months to release an album isn’t going to make or break my career.  I have loyal fans and it’s not like I’ve ever set an exact date for the release, so no one will know the difference. Second, Becca isn’t just ‘some girl’; she’s amazing and sexy and
mine.
We need time for our relationship to grow without the constant pressures and requirements of completing a tour around the country.

The door to my dressing room opens and I look up, expecting to see Becca; unfortunately it’s Samantha.  “What do you need?”

She struts over in her barely there stage costume and sits down next to me.  I notice a big brown envelope in her hand.  “I have something that I thought you should see.”  She puts the envelope down on the table in front of me and stands.  “Just do me a favor and don’t shoot the messenger.”  She walks out of the room without another word.

I reach for the envelope, and when I see what’s inside of it, my entire world shatters.

Chapter Ten

Rebecca

When I open the door to Luke’s dressing room it looks like a tornado has gone through it.  In the corner of the room, a lamp has been shattered to pieces, the chair has been tipped over and there’s a hole in the wall.  I immediately start to panic, thinking that something bad has happened to Luke.

“Luke?”

“Well, look who it is.”  I jump, not realizing that he’d been in the corner of the room behind me.

“What happened in here?  Are you alright?”

“No, I’m not okay, Rebecca.”
Rebecca?  He never calls me that.
As I take a closer look at Luke I can tell that he is definitely not alright.  His eyes are vacant and he’s so tense that it looks as if his muscles might snap at any moment.

“What’s wrong?”

“I’ll tell you what’s wrong.  I was dumb enough to believe in you, in
us
.  I let you in and it’s partially my fault because I went against my better judgment.  I should have walked away from you that very first day, and the fact that I didn’t proves just how fucking gullible I am.”

“What are you talking about?  You’re not making any sense.”

Before I know what’s happening, he throws a handful of papers at me and they all scatter to the floor.  “Look at them and then ask me why I’m upset!”  I jump from the force and volume of his voice.  “Look at them!”

I bend down and pick up what he threw.  The first couple of papers are 8x10 pictures.
Oh.  My.  God
.  There’s a picture of Jackson kissing me, but in this shot it doesn’t look like I’m fighting him.  There are three pictures total and they were all taken before I slapped him and pushed him away.  Tears start to form in my eyes because I know I should have told him what had happened that night.  The stack of stapled papers behind the pictures makes absolutely no sense to me.

“Luke, if you would just let me, I can explain the pictures, but I have no idea what these papers are.”

He takes two long strides and is now towering over me.  “You can explain?  What kind of bullshit explanation are you going to give me as to why you are fucking kissing Jackson?!  Oh, and that stack of papers is the fucking contract you signed!  Why would you do that?  I would’ve given it to you; I would have given you
anything
!”

“A contract for
what
?”
I’m so confused right now.

“You can stop playing dumb now.  I obviously know what you’re up to, so you can stop the charade.”  He glares down at me and I’m searching his eyes for some sign of hope that he hasn’t completely shut down on me.  Tears start to trail down my cheeks because I see no sign of the man that I love.  “Fine, you need to hear me say it.  I don’t know why you do, but I will.  That is the fucking contract you signed with Jackson when you recorded “Just Another Heartbreak” with him.  The contract that you signed for the song that the two of you stole from me!  It came with a cd of the two of you singing it but that’s already shattered against the wall.  Don’t worry, though; I’m sure you’ll be able to buy a new one.”

“Luke, I didn’t ever agree to…”

He moves past me and slams his fist into the wall behind me.  “Stop fucking lying to me!  You know what?  Just stop talking altogether!  I’ve already booked you a flight home and called a cab.  Your bags were already here so I had them loaded for you, too.  You need to leave,
now
.  I never want to hear your name or see your face again.”

“Luke, please I…”

“Get out!  I’m done with you and I regret anything that ever happened between us.  Forget you ever met me because I’ve already forgotten you.”

I’m at a loss for words.  What can I say?  My heart is being ripped from my chest—my soul has been yanked from my body—and there is nothing I can do about it.  I’m trying to find something to say or think of something I can do to make him listen to me when the door opens.  Luke is given his five-minute warning.  He moves toward the door, and then turns back to me.

“I’m going to have security come here in five minutes.  If you aren’t gone, they will escort you out.”

He slams the door shut and all I can do is stare at it.  I want to chase after him but my legs won’t listen to me.  He left me and it’s entirely fault.  I should’ve told him everything when it happened, but I never thought it would come out like this.  My chest feels hollow and I know that it’s because Lucas Masterson just walked away with my heart.  I open the door and head toward the exit.

I can barely see straight and when I bump into something, I look up to see Jackson.  “Where are you going in such a rush, Becca?”

Before I realize what I’m doing I reach up and smack him across the face.  “How could you do that?  If you think for one second that I’m going to cooperate and do this with you, you are out of your mind!”

His eyes narrow on me and he laughs.  “Unfortunately sweetheart, you really don’t have a choice.  Maybe next time you should pay more attention when you sign your name on something.”

He walks past me and leaves me standing there with my mouth hanging open.  I can’t believe that I was so stupid to trust him; to give him the benefit of the doubt when Luke told me what an asshole he was.  I never wanted to be one of those people who always assumed the worst of people, but that is
exactly
what this situation has done to me.  It has shown me that hope, trust, and love are all just things that don’t mean anything in the end.

I don’t need to tell the cab driver where I’m going, and when I get to the airport I’m only a half hour early for my flight.  I don’t cry the entire ride to the airport or on the flight home.  I grab a cab when I land and have the driver take me to my mom’s house.  My phone is turned off so that I’m not tempted to call Luke and beg him to take me back.  As much as I need her, I don’t want to talk to Jen, either.  I’m the one who created this mess and I have to get myself through it.

My mom is asleep in her chair when I arrive at the house, so I go straight to my room.  As soon as I sit down on the bed the tears start to fall in torrents down my face.  Being here, back in this house, only makes the fact that I lost Luke that much more real.  I’m alone now, a shell of the person that I was when I was with him.  I know that no matter what happens now I will never be the same, because without Luke I will never be whole again.
