We moved to the bedroom where I fluffed the pillows up for him to rest comfortably.

"Logan, I have to tell you something," I said taking a deep breath.

"What is it?"

"I don't know exactly how to tell you, Logan,"

"You can tell me anything, you know that babe,"

I looked at his face, the bridge of his nose was split and there was the beginning of a shiner starting on his left cheek, even with the injuries he was handsome, my handsome lover. I took a deep breath.

"I wasn't feeling well and...well I was with Veronica and...." I didn't know how to tell him.

"What? You're not sick are you Willow? It's nothing serious is it?"

"No, I'm not sick, I'm....I'm pregnant Logan" I finally said too nervous to look at his face.

He leaned over opening the draw of the bedside table. He took out a small red velvet box and placed it on my lap.

"Open it," he said.

I opened the box to find a ring inside, a giant sparkling diamond ring. My heart began to beat uncontrollably.

"Marry me," he said. I looked up at him dumbfounded.

"What? did you not hear what I said Logan?" I asked, "I'm pregnant, did you hear that?"

"I heard that, and now I'm asking you if you will do me the great honour of being my wife Willow, did you hear that?"

I burst into tears of joy.

"Of course I will," I sobbed "I love you, I have always loved you."

"And I have always loved you, my brave, fearless, beautiful Willow."

CHAPTER TWENTY TWO

Two years later...

"Mama," I heard her little voice say as she tugged at the bottom of my gown.

"Yes, baby" I said swooping her up into my arms as I planted a big kiss on her little cheek.

I looked at the two of us in the mirror, admiring my exquisite lace dress and Marilyn's matching outfit. We were about to take our steps down the aisle.

"Are you ready?" Mom asked, coming into the room, "you look truly beautiful Willow, and you too Marilyn," she said pinching at my gorgeous little girls nose.

"I'm ready as I'll ever be," I told her, passing Marilyn to her.

I heard the music begin. Chris came in grinning at me as he offered me his arm, I took it graciously.

"Thank you Willow," he said.

"For what?" I wondered.

"For making my son the happiest he's ever been."

I smiled and kissed his cheek before walking down the aisle slowly. Logan waited at the alter, his surroundings adorned with white lilies like I'd always dreamed of. My life had been nothing but a dream these last two years, having Marilyn and being in love with the greatest man I'd ever come to know. The next chapter of my beautiful life was just beginning, I was now going to be not only a mother, but a wife and married to the love of my life. I met Logan at the alter and stared into his blue eyes, they no longer intimidated me, instead they reassured me that I was loved. The minister began to speak.

"In this church today, we gather to celebrate the eternal love of Willow and Logan," he cleared his throat, "In marriage we not only say "I love you today", but also "I promise to love you for all of our tomorrows."
