Jesse

I absolutely love downtown Denver, and as soon as Aedan turns on Fourteenth Street, I know where he is taking me, The Four Seasons. I am so excited. Maybe we’re going to revisit what we didn’t finish the first time we were here? I hope so.

“The Four Seasons!” I smile.

“Yes. I knew you would figure it out as soon as I turned down Fourteenth Street. Is this okay?” he asks as he looks at me.

“Of course. I love it here, but I would love it anywhere that we are together.” I smile back at him.

“Good. Let’s get out of here and get something to eat and then we will head up to the room,” he says as we pull into the valet.

“Perfect.” I’m starving. I haven’t eaten since this morning, and it’s now later in the afternoon.

The valet opens my door and gives me a hand so I can get out. Aedan is soon around the car. He helps me out and places his hand in the small of my back. My skin instantly craves his touch without the barrier of the clothing.

“Although I’m starving, can we skip the restaurant and eat in our room?”

“You read my mind.” He gives me a kiss on the cheek and goes to check us in.

I’m glad Jesse suggested heading straight up to the room because I didn’t want anyone looking at her. She looks fucking amazing, and I want her all to myself. I want to lick, suck, and kiss every inch of her body. After getting the key to the room, I grab Jesse’s hand and head toward the elevator.

We get in and I push the button for the ninth floor. When the doors close, I press her up against the wall of the elevator. I would love to take her here, but I’ll wait. I have a little more restraint than that…well, maybe. The reflection in the elevator’s mirrors would be all around us if I took her now. I get hard just thinking about the image of me fucking her.

The car dings, and I drag her out of the elevator before the door fully opens. Luckily, our room is right off the elevator. I insert the key and throw open the door. I pull Jesse up to me and pick her up. I don’t give her time to say anything. I walk through the suite and head straight to the bedroom.

There is fruit and champagne waiting on us, but we don’t need any of that. We need each other. I need to be inside of her. I admire her beauty as I lay her on the bed. I don’t want to mess up her hair or makeup, but I can’t stand not being inside of her anymore.

“Sit up,” I command. She sits up, and I reach around her and start to unzip her dress, moving it out of the way.

“Stand up.”

She stands. I finish unzipping the dress and let it fall around her feet in a puddle of fabric. Now she is standing with her back to me in her heels and panties. I inhale a quick breath. She’s stunning, and I want to rip her panties off and make her scream my name. That will all happen soon enough.

“Sit back down, leave your shoes on, and lie back down on the bed.”

She doesn’t question me. I guess she knows not to with the tone of my voice. I get up, looking at her lying there on the edge of the bed with her heels and panties on. I’m going to take care of that right now.

I rip her panties off her body. She gasps as I do, and I kneel down, not even going with foreplay, and start licking and nibbling on her wet center. Moments later, Jesse’s apple taste coats my tongue and lips.

“Oh, Aedan. Please. You’re overdressed. I need you in me,” she moans out in a breathless voice. This isn’t how I planned this going, but who am I to deny this hot little sex kitten?

I get up and undress. I don’t waste any time. I bend down and remove Jesse’s shoes. She doesn’t know it yet, but this night is going to last for hours. I’m going to make love to her until we fall asleep in each other’s arms.

I pick her up and lay her in the middle of the bed. I gently place kisses all over her body as I position myself above her. I align myself with her and slowly enter her, allowing her to adjust to my size. I start moving my hips, thrusting in and out, making sure to hit the spots that make Jesse writhe in pleasure. I want her to remember that together we are amazing and that only we can make each other feel this fire and passion.

The connection I feel when we are together makes me believe that she is my forever, and I’m going to make sure she knows it by the time we leave here tomorrow.

Aedan

I’m sitting in the crowd with McCoy, Laney, and the rest of Jesse’s family. Watching my girl graduate from college is a highlight of my life. I’m so proud of her for making it to this point in her life. Her life is getting ready to fast forward quickly, and I want to be right by her side through it all.

Finally her name is called and we all cheer for her when she receives her diploma. I’ve been keeping an eagle eye on her, even though James and Bar are down on the field keeping watch.

My phone dings with several messages. My mom and sister sent me pictures of the house, and I’m in awe of what all they’ve done for Jesse. I can’t believe that Laney, Leigh, and my mother made the house look as amazing as it does.

Extra personnel are in place so no one can ruin Jesse’s graduation party. She has been waiting for this day since she graduated high school over eight years ago. I don’t know how or when McCoy is planning to tell her that the company is hers now, but I hope it’s at the graduation party so all of her friends and family can see she has accomplished her goals.

The Alpha Team has been on double surveillance on my house since that wacko was outside of the fence. Thank God there hasn’t been any suspicious activity this week. I’m hoping once Jesse takes over the company that it will put an end to these crazy messages and phone calls. However, I don’t see that happening anytime soon, if ever.

Her house is almost back to its original condition. I’m hoping she doesn’t want to move back in. I want to ask her to move in with me, but I think it might be too soon. I’ve known since the first night we were together she was the one I want to be with for the rest of my life.

However, right now isn’t the time to be rushing into anything. She has a company to run, but luckily, I get to be right by her side. Damn, she will be my boss. Taking orders from her should be interesting.

Jesse finally makes it through the crowd of graduates and beside the stage, where I’m standing.

“Congratulations, my beautiful summa cum laude graduate,” I say as I pull her in for a hug.

“Thank you. I’m so glad this day is here. I thought my father and Laney were with you?” she asks as she looks around for them.

“We’re right here, Jesse-bug. I am so proud of you,” her father says from behind her. She turns around and gives him a big hug.

“As if I would miss your graduation day, hooker.” Laney gives Jesse a hug.

“Thank you, Daddy. Are you coming to Aedan’s after you leave here? Laney and Aedan’s family insisted on throwing a party for me at his house.” She smiles and Laney grins.

“I wouldn’t miss it. We will be there in a bit. I love you, Jesse Rae.”

“I love you too, Daddy.” She hugs him again.

“Take care of her, Aedan,” he says as he holds out his hand for me to shake.

“Yes, sir. I will,” I reply as I shake his hand firmly. He smiles. “We will see you at the house.”

“I’m going to ride with your dad, Jesse. I want to talk to him about funding a new collection at the museum.” She winks at Jesse.

“Sounds good. I’ll see you at Aedan’s.” She gives her another hug.

McCoy offers Laney his elbow. They walk away with Holmes in tow, and the crowd swallows them up. Wait, I thought Wade was on today, and where the hell is Chantelle? I’ll have to ask McCoy when we get to the house.

“Ready to go, beautiful?” I ask Jesse as I place my hand in the small of her back.

“Yes, let’s get out of here. I’m ready for my party.” She smiles.

Getting Jesse out of the crowd and to my SUV takes almost no time because I used my security ties to park close to the entrance of the football field. Getting Jesse in the SUV and off campus takes a little longer than getting to the SUV. Once we are away from campus, the traffic lightens and we are soon driving the speed limit.

“Thank you, again, for hosting a party for me. You didn’t have to. It could have waited until I got back in my house,” she says with a small smile.

“I didn’t want you to have to wait. It’s not a problem. Obviously, my family loves you because anyone that can survive my nephews is a keeper.” I wink at her.

“I love them. They are fun and they seem to love their Uncle Denny.” She smirks at the use of my nickname.

“That they do.” I smile.

We fall into a comfortable silence for the rest of the ride home. We pull up to the gate and there seems to be at least twenty cars here, if not more.

Jesse

Last night was amazing. Aedan made love to me most of the night. I never knew sex could feel that way: hot, passionate, emotional, and almost raw. I am in absolute love with Aedan.

I can’t believe I’m a college graduate. The graduation wasn’t as drawn out as I thought it would be, but I was so glad to get back into Aedan’s safe arms.

When Aedan pulls up to his house, I start to cry. I didn’t think there would be this many people who cared about me graduating from college. I haven’t seen many family members since I graduated from high school, and my brother and sister look to be here. I am so excited to see everyone.

Not waiting for Aedan to open my door, I rush out of his SUV and into the arms of my family. I haven’t been this happy in a long time. Seeing my mom’s parents warms my heart. I haven’t seen them in five years because they live in England. Them being here means so much to me.

“Jesse, love, you’re absolutely gorgeous. We are so proud of you, darlin,’” my grandma Etta says as she strokes my face.

“Very proud of you, sweetheart.” My grandpa Jess says. Yes, my name was from my grandfather.

“Thank you both. I didn’t expect you to be here. I am so surprised. Thank you, thank you, for being here,” I say as I embrace them both.

I pull back when I hear someone clearing their throat behind me. I turn around and see Aedan standing there.

“Oh, sorry. Grandma, Grandpa, this is Aedan and this is his beautiful house.” I gesture to my grandparents. “Aedan, this is my mother’s parents, Etta and Jess Dyer.”

“Oh, darlin’, we’ve already met. He was kind enough to pick us up at the airport yesterday morning. He said you were getting ready for a spa day at the house. He’s quite the gentleman,” my grandma says.

“Really? So my grandparents were your important meeting?” I shoot Aedan a questioning look.

“Yes, ma’am. They are important people to meet.” He gives me a wink.

“Thank you,” I say as I give him a hug.

“Your father is here. Are you ready to eat? Do you want to address everyone before we eat?” he asks.

“Yes, I want to thank everyone for being here,” I reply, smiling while I look at all the people here.

“Well, the stage is all yours,” he says as he takes me by the hand and leads me into the tent that is set up in his massive side yard.

There is a stage and podium set up on the opposite end. There seems to be well over one hundred tables in the tent. He takes my hand and kisses it, and then he pushes me up the steps. I walk to the podium and look over the tables and the people outside of the tent. I tap on the mic and realize it’s on.

“Testing…hello, everyone,” I say and the people turn toward my voice and head inside of the tent. “If you would like to find your seat, we will start dinner service shortly. I appreciate each one of you being here to celebrate this special day with me. I am very humble to see so many faces here. Thank you all for being here and I hope to speak to everyone at some point in the evening. Enjoy your meal.” The crowd starts clapping when I leave the stage.

Aedan meets me at the steps and pulls me in for a hug. “You look good up there on stage. I hope you’re ready to be in the spotlight, beautiful,” he whispers in my ear.

“For the first time in long time, I am completely ready to be in the spotlight.” I smile.
I got this
.

Dinner is wonderful. The ladies asked me my favorite foods a while ago but didn’t tell me the final menu. I was surprised when I learned the menu consisted of a spring salad and crostini for the appetizer; salmon, rosemary potatoes, and green bean almandine for the main course; then dark chocolate butter cake and sorbet for dessert.

I’m getting ready to get up and talk to a few people when I hear my father’s voice come through the speakers. When did he get up from the table?

“Excuse me, thank you. Echoing the words of my oldest daughter, thank you for coming and celebrating this day with us. At this time, I would like to ask Jesse up to the stage. I have a gift to give her and I would like to share it with everyone.” He looks at me with a huge smile, tears forming in his bright eyes.

Is this what I think it is? Is he handing the company over to me? Aedan helps me out of my seat and escorts me up the stage and to my father. My father pulls me in for a hug.

“I’m so proud of you, Jesse,” he whispers in my ear. He turns back to the mic. “As you know, there have been rumors of McCoy Investments going up for sale. Those aren’t entirely false. As of three hours ago, McCoy Investments is no longer my company…” A large amount of gasps fills the previously silent tent. My father smiles. “The new owner is standing before you and will be finalized when—”

Loud, vibrating shots ring out, interrupting my father. There’s commotion on the stage, the blasts echo through my ears, and everything goes black.
