"So you should have no problem taking a nap," Shi said, following Elis down the corridor. Elis seemed to know where he was going, as he led the way towards the bridge. He took a side hallway, punching the button to open the door at the end of it. Inside was a rather spacious captain's deck, with a wide bed tucked into a cubby on the far side of the room.

"Stay with me until I fall asleep?" Elis requested, yawning as though to punctuate the question. Shi nodded agreeably; he doubted it would take long, and he didn't really want to let go of Elis yet. Elis grabbed his hand and pulled him across the room.

They settled into the bed, Elis tucked into the inside and Shi barely balancing on the outside—wide for a spaceship didn't mean wide enough for two, unfortunately. Luckily the ceiling of the bed cubby was tall, which would give them some extra room later, when Shi finally got the chance to do everything he'd been trying to not think about during the months he'd thought Elis had left him. Elis tucked himself close to Shi, resting his head on Shi's shoulder. His breathing evened out after a moment, but Shi didn't move, listening to Elis breath and soaking in the feeling of having Elis close again.

Additional Notes
Siobhan Crosslin

Siobhan discovered the wonderful world of boy love when one of her friends pointed out that two of her characters were probably beating each other up constantly because of unresolved sexual tension. After the seed had been planted, slashy love started showing up with more and more frequency in her stories until she had to own up to being a hardcore slasher and made the transition to writing slash full-time.

She can’t go without writing for more than five days, even if it’s just a couple words scribbled on a piece of napkin or a note in her phone. If Real Life gets in the way and she has to go without her sweet, sweet fix, she morphs into a snarly, grumpy grizzly bear until she can hide in a corner with her laptop and some Good Strong Coffee. She’s not addicted though, stop grinning.

You can read more of her writing at her livejournal or email her at [email protected]

K-lee Klein

K-Lee Klein has lived in one part of Western Canada or another for her entire life. She’s a doting mother of three now-grown kids and has had characters and plots running around her head for as long as she can remember. Though she’s very new when it comes to throwing her original fiction out into the web universe, she hopes to substitute her passion for writing beautiful, emotional men for her previous jobs as a hockey manager/coach, school band volunteer and overall chauffeur.

She lives with an overly-patient husband who totally does not get her thing for gay men, two spoiled but wonderful sons (who don’t get it either), two also spoiled but beautiful cats, many phone calls with her daughter who has already left the nest, and an abundance of fabulous gay men, large and small, bouncing off the walls of her skull, competing for their turns to tell their stories.

Holly Rinna-White

Holly hails from the frozen northeastern wilds of Maine. The moment she set out on her own, she moved to the nearest big city and hasn’t regretted it for a moment since. She is secretly a hopeless romantic, which somehow manifested itself into an intense adoration for homosexual relationships. (Which was much to the bewildered amusement of some of her gay friends.) The vast majority of her writing involves gay, lesbian, bisexual, and/or polyamorous relationships.

She’s always enjoyed putting her thoughts down on paper, but she never really considered herself a writer. That is, until she realized one day that a writer is just a person who writes thing.

Alison Bailey

Alison Bailey lives on a hillside in rural West Virginia. By day, she works construction. By night, she draws comics, writes fiction, designs board games, sews plushies, decorates cakes, and has recently begun work on her first animated shorts. You can follow her daytime exploits at The Alison Bailey.com and her nighttime activities at One “L” Innovations.

Megan Derr

Megan is a long time resident of m/m fiction, and keeps herself busy reading, writing, and publishing it. She is often accused of fluff and nonsense. She loves to hear from readers, and can be found all around the internet.
