When her pussy and thighs were soaked with her wetness I teased her opening inching my way in. Immediately, her muscles tried to grab onto me but I pulled out.

She bit down hard on my shoulder. “I’m ready.” she breathed out once her teeth let my shoulder go.

I pushed back inside as she relaxed, letting me fill her. She was wet but I still had to push my way in. Her pussy wasn’t just tight, it was air locked.

When I had most of me inside, she pulled her legs and hips upward taking in the last inch of me as her face turned pink from the pressure. I leaned in to kiss her as she got used to me. When her muscles stopped convulsing, I slowly pulled myself in and out.

I’ve fucked hundreds of girls; all types of women, experienced, virgins, and even cougars. Nothing compared to what it felt like when you loved someone. Finally knowing, I made love to Blue the way I always dreamed of making love to the one woman that I was desperately waiting for to walk into my life.

I’ve been waiting for Blue to shatter my soul only to sew it back together with her brand etched into it.

Chapter Forty-Four

Livie

The morning came fast and even before my mind fully woke from its sedated sleep, I could feel the aches and pains my body was prepping me up for.

I knew once I moved my legs, my inner thighs would burn, and once I sat up my abs would stiffen. I didn’t even want to think about the more intimate parts of my body because I could feel the soreness everywhere. There was no more uncharted territory left on my body.  Well maybe one, but I think from the close call last night, Ocean had it on his list to conquer.

The deep rumbles of laughter flowed underneath the bedroom door as I pulled myself up into a sitting position.

I peeked under the covers to see if I was still spotting considering all the extra attention my ladylove was receiving from Ocean. There was no spotting this time, just the sore memory of Ocean.

The bedroom door cracked open as Ocean walked in. He looked normal this time. He didn’t look nervous and strung out.

“Morning beautiful.” he said as he climbed into bed.

His hair was still damp from his morning shower and he was wearing really casual clothes, nothing I was used to seeing him in.

Was I missing something?

He sat next to me and started kissing me softly.

“Good morning handsome, am I missing something? You look really nice and you’re not even wearing Jordan’s,” I teased.

“Funny.” he said reaching over flicking my nipple.

“I am a twenty seven year old man entitled to dressing the part. Besides, we have a busy day today.”

The laughter echoed down the hall again and I could have sworn I heard Santi’s laugh. I ran my fingers through my hair, bringing it up to my face, looking at how long and bone straight it was. I was kind of jealous of Dulce’s hair because it has a natural wave to it, instead of my boring straight strands.

“You think I should cut my hair?” I asked, really considering it.

I never sported short hair before but it was way too long and way too straight. The ends didn’t even curl up.

I felt his fingers run through my hair. I knew he liked my hair because he always played in it, especially in his sleep. “I kind of like it long, but if you want to cut it, it’s ok baby.”

I turned to look at his face, which was sincere and honest. “What if I layer it but keep it long. Oooo what if I get something sexy like red highlights in it?”

I don’t know why I was seeking his approval. Ocean loved me the way I was and I really didn’t want to change everything about me all at once.

“Long layers would look nice on you,” he said bringing me in close to hug me. “As for the red highlights it would just take your sexy status to a higher level. Baby, you’re already sexy. You just need to believe it.”

I liked the man sitting in front of me. He was honest, not that he’s ever been untruthful, but there was a peace about him right now that I’ve never seen in him before.

“Stop looking at me like I’m a freak. Get in the shower and when you come out your day will begin. Aunt Layla will be here any minute and she’s been cursing me to hell for keeping you away from her for so long.”

I wrapped my arms around his neck. “It was for a good cause baby, she’ll understand.”

His eyes looked down at me. “So, now I’ve finally reached the baby nickname status, huh?”

“Nope.” I said bouncing off the bed strutting my aching body towards the bathroom. “Just testing the water Romeo.”

He laughed hard standing up. “Please, baby. Romeo’s got nothing on this dick.” He grabbed himself through his designer khaki’s and I bolted into the bathroom slamming and locking the door.

“Wise, Juliet. Very wise!” He said, laughing on the other side of the door.

****

I opened the door to the bathroom slowly gripping the door handle tight, in case Romeo wanted to ambush me. When the room was empty, I was kind of disappointed.

On the bed were five boxes gift wrapped in red shiny paper and tied off with black bows. Ocean didn’t hide that black and red where his two favorite colors. I’m surprised his Range Rover wasn’t customized that way.

I walked over to the boxes, knotting the towel under my arms so I could use my hands. My wrist hurt a little from being tossed around last night but again, for a great cause.

The larger box had a white card with my name on it. I slipped it out from under the fancy black bow and opened it.

Livie,

Today is the day we start our new chapter. Having you back home and in my arms where you’ve always belonged has reminded me of something very important. It’s reminded me that I want to fight for us. I want to fight to give you the things in life that you deserve the most.

I want to be a good man for you. I want you to feel safe and loved by me at all times, even in my dick moments because there will be plenty of those. I want to be able to get down on one knee for you and when I do, I don’t want there to be one single doubt in your mind that I’m not right for you.

The gifts waiting to be opened are not my attempt to buy your love. Baby, it’s me giving you what my heart fells you deserve.

See you soon Livie Marie Hawthorne aka Acosta-Hawthorne (still considering the hyphen but not liking it. Sorry babe!)

Love Always,

Ocean Grant Hawthorne

Tears of joy rushed down my face as I read his letter to me. It was beautiful and it was every piece of Ocean that I loved. I laughed because I knew he was dead serious about my last name being hyphenated, and honestly I didn’t have a problem with that. I would always be Livie Maria Acosta, deep down, so taking his name would be heavenly.

I tossed the card onto the bed and started opening the biggest box. It felt like Christmas morning to me. I pulled out a beautiful dress out of the largest box. It was by a designer whose name I couldn’t even pronounce, of course. It was a maxi dress with a beautiful color design dancing through the light and airy fabric. The top was a halter-style with the straps hooking around the neck.  Another box contained a pair of diamond-encrusted sandals.

YES! DIAMONDS ON THE SANDALS!

They matched the dress as the designer was the same. The third box had a platinum black diamond encrusted necklace and matching earrings. They were beautiful. Ocean could have purchased three high-end cars from the money he spent so far.

The fourth box blew my mind away and I had to sit down to keep from falling over. In the box was the most amazing and unique charm bracelet I’ve ever seen. It was a gold linked chain with black diamond’s dancing along the links, and the charms were amazing. In total there were seven charms. They were all words made out of gold and designed in an amazing and breathtaking way.

Reading the charms it read, ‘You drown, I drown, always and forever.’

This had to be a fortune!

The words were in cursive and I had no idea how they were able to mold gold in such a way but it was absolutely stunning!

I put on the bracelet, immediately not wanting it out of my sight.

Reaching over to the last and smallest box I held my breath, afraid of what could be inside of such a small box. I unwrapped it slowly finding a piece of paper folded into a tiny square.

I unfolded it and the paper said, ‘get dressed, and come see me’.

My heart raced as I ran around the room getting myself ready. I put lotion all over my skin and the sexiest set of underwear I had. Thank god I had a Victoria Secret strapless bra set because if not, these babies would have been everywhere in that dress. I put on my necklace and hoop earrings. To show off the earrings, I pulled my hair up into a high ponytail pulling out a few shorter strands around my face.

Ten minutes later in my form fitting dress and beautiful sandals. I looked like I was ready to go on a cruise to the Bahamas. I never looked so womanly or Spanish in my life, but I liked the look. It would go well with Ocean’s grown up and sophisticated look that he was rocking today.

Chapter Forty-Five

Livie

The journey down the hallway to the living room was the longest walk ever. Now I knew what woman felt like on their wedding day walking down the aisle. Only this time, my father wasn’t here and he would never be here to give me away.

I wiped my tears away, refusing to let myself ruin this moment Ocean was giving us. When I stepped into the living room, I swayed and braced my hand on the nearest wall.

Everyone that I’d grown close to was here. Layla stood next to Law, who had his arms wrapped around her and Dulce.

Layla had on a beautiful summer gown. She looked well rested and refreshed. She was even sporting a fresh tan on her fair skin.

Looking at Dulce, she was as dolled up as I was and she was glowing.

My heart skipped a beat and restarted itself as I scanned the room.

Unk was there in a very nice suit smiling at me like I was the bringer of great things. Santi, Trevor and Joseph were also here. I knew I heard them. They were also all dressed up and looking damper.

The beaming smiles I was getting from everyone had my head swimming.

I opened my mouth to speak and try to say hello to everyone but I couldn’t find my voice.

Ocean stepped in front of me out of nowhere, stealing my breath away again. He had tears in his eyes and a smile that could bring peace to a warring nation.

“Easy, baby. Breathe.” He grabbed my shoulders to steady me. “My God Livie, you look beautiful.” He took both of my trembling hands in his as he looked down at me like he was seeing me for the very first time.

What he did next had me swaying so far back he had to hold onto my hips to keep me upright.

As he bent down on one knee, my tears and ugly cry broke through my cracking walls of composure.

As tears streamed down his face, he grabbed my left hand where I had put on the charm bracelet and he kissed my wrist. Then he turned my hand over to kiss the top of it.

He reached an arm behind him and his father handed over a small box and my breathing went haywire. “Come on, baby. You’re going to pass out before I even get started.”

I held my breath trying to hold the emotions back, but they broke through again and I started choking for air.

Layla stepped forward, coming around me holding me against her while Ocean continued to hold on to my hand.

“Livie Marie Ac—Hawthorne.” he said with a wicked smile.

That got chuckles from everyone.

“With this promise ring, I promise to love you through our good and our bad, support you in all of your choices, red highlights and all.” He said with a wink.

“I promise to be as honest and true to you as humanly possible and I promise to work on being a better man for you until I’m able to get down on my knee again to ask you to marry me. Officially! In return Livie, all I ask is that you love me and never give up on me, baby. If you’ll let me promise these things and more…and if you’re able to love me without giving up when I make mistakes and don’t get things right, can I please place this ring on your finger?”

I looked around the room to meet tear filled eyes and faces. Law was holding onto Dulce like his heart was breaking and she was keeping the pieces together. Ocean’s father was crying with a prideful and honest look on his face. I turned to Layla, whose mascara was running. She kissed my cheek and let me go, reaching out for her son who welcomed her back underneath his arm.

I looked down at Ocean, my Ocean; the Ocean that pulled me in when I couldn’t swim any longer on my own. The same Ocean that dragged me out of deep and cold waters to a safe shore where I could breath and where I could survive.

I reached down wiping his tears with my free hand and answered him. “Ocean Grant, pain in my ass, Hawthorne…”

He laughed nervously as he waited.

“I would be honored to accept the promises you’ve already made, are willing to make, and will make to me. I will always love you unconditionally without ever giving up on you. Ever!”

He cleared his throat from the emotions coursing through him.

“Ocean. Please put your ring on my finger.”
