Kanon raked his tongue out over his lips, toying.

It was enough to make Tegan shiver.

He liked the control, the knowledge, that with just one look, one little action...he could rock his partner just as thoroughly as Tegan rocked him. “Mmm,” Kanon rumbled.

The pads of his thumbs slid out, making quick circles over the muscle of Tegan’s thighs. “You shouldn’t be so demanding.”

Tegan curved one hand under his chin and forced Kanon to hold his gaze. “Kanon. Sometime today.”

“Could be anytime then.” But he trailed a finger over the zipper-line of Tegan’s jeans. “Should make you beg.”

A low growl shivered up Tegan’s spine and Kanon grinned as he stripped him down. He relished the control as he took Tegan into his mouth, teasing. Playing. He wanted Tegan to quake for him. Feet padded across the carpet, still far away but he shook with the knowledge. Tegan’s hand fisted in his hair, and he knew,
knew
someone was watching them.

Kanon groaned, as he worked Tegan in his mouth, as eyes watched them from the hall. A whimper worked its way out of Tegan, pleading, but Kanon kept him close to the edge. Let her watch, he wanted to say. Another whimper, followed by a soft feminine groan.

It had to be her.

He skimmed his hand over that special spot, putting pressure against the stem of Tegan’s cock, and this time when he sucked him down Kanon didn’t release the pressure. The back of Tegan’s cock hit his throat and Kanon swallowed, urging his partner over the edge.

Tegan wrapped hands over his shoulders as he fought to keep himself from roaring. Instead, a strangled groan rumbled from him as the orgasm hit. Kanon drank him down until there was nothing left and Tegan’s body swayed. Spent. Kanon eased back on his heels, and then to his feet. Tegan stood quivering next to him.

“Hot,” Melody said and Kanon turned to see her leaning against the wall, grinning. Lennox stood next to her, wrapped in a towel, her hair still dry. So she hadn’t actually made it into the shower. Kanon licked his lips as Mel nudged her. “Think they want you.”

She kissed her friend on the temple and reached for her purse. “I’m going to go fetch some breakfast. You can either run like hell or screw like the wind, your choice girl.”

Melody bounced out the front door, the car turning over before she backed it down the drive. Kanon just stood there, waiting. Lennox pressed the tip of her tongue to her upper lip and he could see the want written all over her face.
Damn, come on girl
. He started to take a step towards her, just to touch her and she shook her head.

“Lennox.”

“Uh, the guest shower’s free. I’m going to go...” Her gaze dropped to his thighs, then Tegan’s, and he knew damn well what she was looking at. But she wasn’t going to stay and he wasn’t about to force her. There was nothing he or Tegan could do to make her stay. Not yet.

“Just remember,” he murmured. “When you’re fucking that showerhead or your fingers in there, we could feel a hell of a lot better.”

Tegan grinned. “Truth, sweetheart, a hundred times the truth.”

Her legs looked a little weak as she wavered, but she managed to take a step down the hall. “You guys should get cleaned up.”

Then she turned and headed down the hall, one hand on the wall. She’d made it to the far door when she paused, a desperate, longing look on her face when she turned back to them, but she didn’t stop. Lennox closed the door behind her and Kanon heard the lock turn over.

Tegan’s hand found his thigh. “You look about ready to go again. What do you say about that shower?”

His partner wrapped a hand around his waist and tugged Kanon towards the hall. A shudder worked its way down his spine and all the way to his toes as Tegan led him towards the guest bathroom, his grin pure sin.

Lennox slumped against the counter, a jelly filled doughnut in one hand. “Shit,” she whispered for the ten thousandth time.

Melody grunted. “You can say that again. If you don’t take them up on their offer soon you’re not going to be allowed to blame me for straddling them in the middle of the night.”

Her stomach gave a queasy flop. The thought of Mel going to bed with them while she slept in the other room made her skin crawl. A hip bumped hers and Lennox glanced up to see Melody staring straight at her. “I was kidding. You might not be willing to admit it yet, but I’m not stupid. You want them every bit as badly as they want you.”

“Getting kind of stupid to keep denying that isn’t it?” She sighed and glanced towards the front door. Melody had handed them each a fifty and a doughnut, and had kicked them out to go get fresh clothes.

“You think?”

Lennox smiled. All right, so it’d been obvious for awhile, but they were lions. Kanon was being framed for murder and might still end up dead if she couldn’t figure out a way to get ahead of the game. And they were
lions.

“Don’t even look like that.”

She turned and Melody shook her head. “Even if they weren’t lions, you’d still have issues. Lennie, sweetheart, I love you to death, but you have issues when it comes to men.”

That was pushing it. She’d dated some sad examples of the male race, but they hadn’t all been bad. And the sex had been okay, when she’d had it. “That cop I dated last year was a nice guy.”

“Honey, he looked like the kind of man who didn’t even know how to get himself off.”

“Sex isn’t everything.”

“Never said it was.” Melody plucked out a powdered doughnut, completely oblivious to the fact that those things went to the hips on any other woman. “But it’s a good start.”

“No. A good start is loyalty, stability, a good heart, someone who makes me laugh... Should I go on?”

Melody glanced down at her doughnut; white powder covered her fingertips. Thoughtful, then softly, “They’ve seen me in a bathrobe with nothing on but a nearly see-through top underneath.”

A smile touched her lips as she looked up, more confident now. “They’ve seen me in a four inch skirt and red fuck-me heels. Their eyes are still on you. That’s loyalty.”

Yes, but... Melody jabbed the doughnut at her. White powder tumbled down across her shirt. “Don’t. You let me finish. Stability? I may not be able to say much for their jobs, but those two, they’re tight. They’ve been friends for awhile and nothing is driving them apart. That’s stable.”

Melody took a step closer. “They got good hearts, and you’re not blind enough to miss that, so stuff that one up your ass. And in case you haven’t noticed, they make you laugh. They make you smile, and dare I say it, but they make you weak in the knees and that scares the shit out of you. Shall I go on?”

Lennox bent her head, a small smile on her lips as she looked out the sliding glass door. “They’re just different then.”

“Yeah. They are. Way different than any man you have ever been with.”

“And there are two of them.” She glanced at Melody. “How am I supposed to choose?”

“Have you looked at them? They don’t look like men who want you to choose. They want you
between
them.”

And that scared her more than anything else.

She could barely handle one man on a date, what was she supposed to do with two? Melody had called her out on pretty much everything. Sex life included. Some of her dates had been a little adventurous. She’d sucked a man off before, but nothing anywhere close to as risqué as taking two at once.

Though the idea of being between them, with them each filling her, had her wet just thinking about it. Especially with the images of this morning still burned in her mind. They’d been wild, uncaring, uninhibited. And they’d known that someone was watching. Shit, Tegan had looked her dead in the eyes, daring her to walk away.

But she couldn’t.

Not with Kanon on his knees, head bobbing as he drank Tegan down. Not with Tegan’s eyes blazing, his muscles clenched as he bucked in his partner’s grip. Not with the wet, suckling sounds, or the half grunts and groans of pleasure sounding from them both. It’d have taken a miracle to drag her down that hall before they’d finished. It had almost taken one to walk away when they’d turned their focus on her.

“I don’t even know what to do with them,” she muttered, closing her eyes.

Melody gave a rich laugh. “Just a guess, but I think they’d be more than willing to show you.”

One glance at her friend and she could see Mel was having a riot at her expense. Mel would have been the perfect kind of girl to garner their interest. She wouldn’t have hesitated. She’d have jumped them both more than once by now. Lennox was still pussy footing around the edges, not quite sure they were serious.

Liar. They’d made no bones about that.

“They’d have been better off with you.”

“Nah. I think they both know exactly what they want.” Melody shrugged.
“And
I have some fun planned for you guys tonight.”

Closing the doughnut box, Mel scooted it to the end of the counter. There were still two more a piece for the lions. “I’m taking you to work with me. Gonna get you all dressed up and fancy too.”

Lennox blinked at her, waiting for the rest of it but when Melody didn’t continue, she cringed. “I thought you mentioned something about fun?”

Not that she didn’t love watching Mel dance, but Lennox wasn’t big into getting fancy.

“Ha ha. That’ll probably come when you’re on the dance floor squirming between your big stud muffins there.” Melody slapped her on the shoulder as she headed out of the kitchen. “Especially once I get you in one of my miniskirts and heels. They won’t be able to keep their hands to themselves.”

Her throat ran dry. She wasn’t sure she was ready for another round of dancing between the two of them. The last time she’d ended up drunk, in bed with them—thankfully sans sex—but with dead bodies the next morning. Though now that she thought about it, minus the dead bodies and add some sex, and the night would have been one heck of an improvement.

“I can’t... I can’t walk in heels.”

“I don’t think you’ll need to do much walking. Let them spin you a few songs and I’m guessing you’ll be on your way home. Long before I get out.”

Mel winked.

“So you’re setting me up?” Not that she could complain. Melody had whacked aside every argument she had. When it came straight down to it, Lennox wanted them. Both of them.

“Oh yeah. I’m tossing your butt straight into the lion’s den.”

She should have been scared. Should have gone running into the mountains screaming for help. Except, what harm was in a little sex?

So instead of running, she followed Melody down the hall.

“What’d you have in mind?”

Chapter Ten

A grocery sack in one hand, Tegan shouldered open Mel’s front door, stopping in the foyer as his eyes lit on Lennox. If the scrap of clothing Mel had been wearing last night had been hot on her, the stuff Lennox was strutting was fucking supernova. He dragged his gaze from the yellow mini skirt down those long, long legs to a pair of yellow heels and his throat went dry.

All he’d have to do was run a hand up her thighs, loop a finger under her undies and he had all the access a man could dream of. Kanon stepped up behind him, a low rumble of agreement trickling out of his partner and down his back.

“Here, stop practicing for a second and try this shirt on,” Melody said, appearing in the hall and Lennox turned, her gaze skating to them as a wicked grin slid over her face.

“Temptress,” Kanon muttered.

Melody laughed. “Nah, if she was a temptress she’d tug this shirt off right over her head and put this one on, onlookers be damned.”

Neither he nor Kanon moved. Tegan would have gotten down on his knees and begged if he’d thought that would have made a difference. But the confidence on Lennox’s face faltered and she reached for the shirt, taking a shaky step for the hall.

He hated seeing her falter, suddenly unsure. All wickedness gone and Tegan moved. Setting the grocery sack aside he met her at the edge of the living room, one hand finding her hip. Lennox paused, teetering on unsteady heels.

Tegan took her in. Her coppery red hair was pulled back at the sides, but it hung loose down over her shoulders, the long tips hanging just shy of her breasts. A silver-set diamond necklace rested between the two pale mounds and he reached a hand up, slipped a finger under the chain, and traced the line the necklace made until his fingers lay in the dip of her breasts.

“Tegan.” His name came out hushed on her lips. Delicate, kissable lips, that looked so lonesome without his. A smile snaked over his face, coy, and full of bad boy, cocksure charm, and he leaned down, trailing kisses along her jaw.

Her breath came shaky as she pulled away, one hand on his shoulder to keep her steady, her lips swollen from his kisses. It just made him want to kiss her again. A thousand times again.

“I don’t know...” She inhaled a sharp breath through her nose. “I don’t know how to do this.”

Her attention veered to something behind him, and Tegan turned to see Kanon leaning against the stairwell, lazy as he watched them. Lazy, at least, until Tegan dropped his attention to the growing bulge in Kanon’s jeans.
