Sloan curved over her, and the scruff of his jaw lightly scraped her throat as he spoke. “Let. Go.”
Everything inside her coiled up. A hot wave of pleasure crashed into her, then another and another, like the black waves below frothing over the shore. She moaned around Tyler’s dick, gulping down her screams.
“Oh, God!” Tyler grunted and pulled out. “I’m going to come. Let me come on those beautiful breasts.”
Sloan bowed her back until her breasts jutted out. Hot spurts of cum spurted on them, making her feel dirty and wanton and pitching her right up to the verge of release. And she hadn’t come down yet. Not even close.
“That’s so fucking hot!” Tyler dropped to his knees and cupped her pussy. “Give it up, baby.” His fingers slipped inside and he used his palm to rub her clit. “You’ve gotta know by now, we won’t let you hold back.”
Hold back?
No, they’d already pushed her past the point where she’d even bother trying. She whimpered as Sloan pumped into her ass harder and harder, as Tyler’s skilled fingers found the trigger within. A fierce orgasm tossed her up, pulled her under, until she drowned in the sensations.
“Breathe, sweetheart.” Sloan’s slack dick slipped out of her as Tyler withdrew his hand. He sat on the gallery and held her, whispering the same words over and over like a soft chant. “Breathe. Just breathe.”
For a while, breathing was all she could do. Her body became solid in miniscule pieces. Then the world stopped looking fuzzy. Cuddled up in Sloan’s lap, she let out a contented sigh.
“I think she’s okay,” Tyler said.
She rested her cheek against Sloan’s chest and wrinkled her nose at Tyler. “I’m fine. Why wouldn’t I be?”
“Because you were KO’d by a massive orgasm the other night.” He leaned his elbows on the railing and puffed out his chest. “And we just gave you two.”
Oh, boy. If he didn’t have an ego before . . .
“You’re right.” She curled her fingers over the collar of Sloan’s T-shirt. “But what impresses me is that your endurance seems to be improving. I was worried for a bit.”
“Ouch.” Tyler smacked his hands over his heart as though he’d been shot. “You sure are mean.”
“Not mean,” she said, doing her best to smother a yawn under Sloan’s arm. “Just trying to keep you in line.”
“Better be careful, Vanek.” Sloan wrapped her hair around his hand and pulled until she tipped her face up. He kissed her, his tongue as deep in her mouth as his dick had been in her body. After stealing all her oxygen, he grinned up at Tyler. “She might still want to try out that Domme stuff. And you’re the perfect candidate. Keep it up, and she’ll mail order a strap-on.”
Tyler let out a huff and strode across the gallery. “So not happening.” He raked his fingers through his curly hair. “Shoulda figured I’d get this after letting you take the lead. No points for an assist, eh,
Captain?
” His knuckles were white as he put his hand on the door handle. “I’ll wait for you two in the truck.”
The door slammed shut behind him.
Oriana stared at the dark glass and watched Tyler’s slender form disappear. What the hell had just happened? He’d enjoyed himself, no doubt about it. Had the teasing really bothered him that much?
“Damn it.” Sloan petted her hair and glared in the direction of the loud
thunk!
from below. “All right, up with you, pet.”
Up?
She dug her nails into her palms as she tried to stand and pain throbbed in her butt. Her second effort got her to her feet, but she didn’t think she was ready for the stairs. And Tyler needed Sloan now. “Would you mind if I enjoyed the view for a bit? Tyler probably won’t want to see me just yet—”
“I’m not leaving you here alone.” Sloan’s eyes narrowed. “Are you all right?”
She rolled her eyes. “I’m fine. He’s not. Stop babying me and go make sure he doesn’t get lost.”
He dressed in a hurry and winced at another
thunk.
“I’m not babying you. I just beat your ass and—”
“And you hit like a girl.” She laughed at his shocked stare. “I’m tougher than I look. Please, just check on him. I’ll meet you at the trailer.”
“You’re both impossible.” Sloan shook his head, then backed toward the door. “Are you sure—”
“Yes!”
“Fine.” He scowled and yanked the door open. “Don’t be long.”
As soon as Sloan left, her thin mask shattered. The air around her became damp and chill, and she shivered. Bending down to pick up her clothes made her whole body ache. The bruises that had added to the thrill of the rough, wild sex hurt so bad she had a hard time standing straight. The pain made her eyes tear.
You liked it. You begged for it!
She swallowed against the lump in her throat. For some reason, even though she’d insisted on Sloan going after Tyler, she felt . . . abandoned. The wonderful sensation of being taken hard became distorted, and she realized she’d just been used.
The idea of pulling jeans over her throbbing flesh made her stomach turn, so she simply pulled on her shirt and bundled the rest of her clothes in her arms. Feeling like she’d aged twenty years since climbing up the lighthouse stairs, she descended, sobbing when she reached halfway and saw how far she had left to go.
“You’re so fucking pathetic.” She covered her face with her hands. “Why would anybody ever want you?”
I
’m going to kill Sloan.
Dominik shook his head and climbed the steps up to Oriana’s side quietly. He whispered her name so he wouldn’t scare the hell out of her.
She still jumped, but when she looked up, relief spilled over the utter despair that had filled her eyes. “Dominik! How did you find us . . . I mean, me. Sloan went—” Her bottom lip quivered. “He went to find Tyler.”
“Sloan mentioned a restaurant and a lighthouse he wanted to take you to. His father gave me the directions.” His strained, neutral tone made Oriana frown, but he couldn’t pull off anything better. Every ounce of his control went into not snarling. “You want to tell me why you’re crying?”
The request seemed to shock her; she’d probably expected a command. She cleared her throat and dried her eyes with her sleeves. “Oh, I’m just being silly. We all had fun—me, Sloan, Tyler—but then I said something stupid and Tyler took off. Sloan went to talk to him.”
Sounded so fucking reasonable. Still, he sensed she was leaving something out. Her voice sounded shallow—he took her hands, they were clammy and cold. Her eyes flicked nervously away from him. The “fun” hadn’t just been sex. Sloan had done a scene with her.
“How long did Sloan stay with you after you had ‘fun’?”
She looked at her hands. “Tyler needed him.”
His eyes narrowed at her obvious evasion. “How. Long?”
“A couple of minutes.”
“Jesus.”
Stupid, lazy son of a bitch.
He knew Sloan wasn’t big on aftercare—he usually left it to Dominik or Max when they played together, but neither of them had been here. He shouldn’t have played with her if he wasn’t going to take responsibility for her welfare. The scene had likely pushed Oriana too far, and she’d dropped once Sloan had left her.
“Don’t be mad, Dominik. We didn’t do anything I didn’t want to do.” She formed her lips into a superficial smile and squeezed his hand. “I wimped out a little, but I’m good now.”
Bullshit.
She’d probably convinced herself she’d gotten what she’d asked for. He had to fix this.
Before
they discussed why he’d come.
“I’m not mad, bunny.” He smiled at her predictable little frown. “But we’ve got to have a chat.” He stood and pulled her to her feet. At her wince, he froze. “Are you hurt?”
She gnashed her teeth together and shook her head. “Just a little sore.”
Dead, Sloan. So dead you might as well pick yourself out a fucking tombstone.
Out loud he said pleasantly, “Well, be that as it may, I missed you today. So you’ll indulge me and let me carry you to my car.”
Arms wrapped his neck, she held on tight while he cradled her in his arms. His forearm skimmed her butt, and she hissed in pain. Then tried to wiggle free. “I should—”
“Do what I say.” He positioned her more comfortably and pressed her head against his chest. Her grip tightened as he carried her down the stairs. “Now, not another word unless it’s ‘Yes, Sir.’”
“Yes, Sir.”
After he stepped off the last step, her whole body seemed to loosen up. Silly little thing. Sitting on those hard, cold steps had probably made her bruises hurt worse. Then again, she hadn’t been clear-headed enough to have considered that. Which is why Sloan should have stayed. And why Dominik would.
Stop. Focus on Oriana. Plan Sloan’s murder later.
“Close your eyes, sweetie. Close your eyes and listen to me, very carefully.” He let his voice take on the gentle lull of the lapping waves, matching his slow strides. “When I met you, the first thing I thought after I caught you was ‘God, why can’t this woman be mine? Why do I have to let her go?’, and once I let you go, I knew it wouldn’t be long before I saw you again. I had a coffee before getting back on the ice because you made me crave the taste—you’d smelled like you’d rolled around in a mountain of coffee beans.” He paused and listened to her steady inhales and exhales, getting slower and slower. “I decided when I saw you again, I’d tell you how beautiful you were. How special. Tell you that you were too good for Paul. I knew I’d be repeating everything Max had already said, but I thought maybe you’d listen to me.” He kissed her temple. She was almost asleep and wouldn’t remember much when she woke, but he had to finish. “I don’t need to tell you to leave Paul—that’s a done deal. But I’ll tell you this and you will listen.”
She mumbled something that sounded like, “Yes, Sir.”
“You deserve to be treated like you’re precious, even when you’re on your knees. Don’t ever forget that.” He laid her in the backseat of his Jeep, then fetched a blanket from the back to cover her with. Standing by the open door, he bowed his head and sighed. “How am I supposed to keep you safe, little one?” He rubbed his eyes and swallowed at the ache in his throat. “I’m no good to you as long as I don’t know where I stand. I don’t think any of us are. If you were mine, I wouldn’t let you put yourself in situations like this.” A shout in the distance brought his head up. Probably Sloan, still working on Tyler. Good. The captain was far more capable of getting through to the rookie than he was at handling a vulnerable sub. “You need things they can’t give you. But I can.” He shut the door firmly and strode around the Jeep. “And I will.”
No more games. He refused to leave her to two fumbling, wannabe Doms. She needed a master. And now she had one.
* * * *
“You dumb ass!” Sloan grabbed Vanek’s wrist before he could punch the tree again. The boy had stormed away when he first saw Sloan and tried to lose him in the woods. But Vanek was a city kid, so his efforts were pretty pathetic. He’d finally just given up and taken out his frustrations on an impervious oak. Thankfully, he only got two shots in before Sloan caught up with him.
Ignoring Vanek’s struggles, Sloan dragged him to the truck, then forced him to sit so he could check the bloody mess the boy had made of his hand. “I broke my hand during a game in a fight I won and my career might be over. You gonna risk yours beating the shit out of a tree?”
Huffing in air like he’d just finished twenty laps around a rink, Vanek bowed his head and mumbled something Sloan couldn’t make out.
“What?”
Vanek lifted his head and snarled. “I don’t care! Fuck my career! Fuck the game! Do you think I want to end up like you ten years from now? I won’t ever meet another woman like her, and I won’t be a kinky toy to play with and discard. You’re a phase she’s going through, but me, I’m going to be more.”
“Really?” Sloan nodded and took a few steps back. The sadist in him wanted to push until the kid snapped—or just get some quick satisfaction by cracking him in the jaw, but the Dom in him demanded a calmer approach. “Do you think dismissing her needs as ‘a phase’ will endear you to her? Max loves her—enough that he stayed away when she asked him to, then returned without one shred of judgment and found out what she needed from him. The things he can’t provide, he sees that she gets them from us.”
Raking his fingers into his hair, Vanek slumped forward. “Fine. But what does she need from me?”
“You’re gonna have to figure that out with her, rookie.” Sloan thumped Vanek on the shoulder. His phone rang and he plucked it out of his pocket. Mason’s number flashed on the screen. “Hey, what’s up?”
“I have Oriana,” Mason said. The dial tone sounded.
What the fuck?
Sloan shoved his phone in his pocket. How had Mason found them? Why had he come? The questions whirled through his mind as he sprinted to the trailer for a first-aid kit, then sprinted back to the truck. He dropped the metal box on Vanek’s lap.
“Patch yourself up.” He slammed the passenger’s side door, then made his way to the driver’s side. His grip made the steering wheel creak. “Something’s wrong.”
A
bump jolted Oriana awake. She sat up, and pain rolled over her butt and down her thighs.
Ouch!
Dominik leaned between the seats and touched her cheek. “Hey, sleepy. Sorry about that—I tried to ease over the bump, but the shocks on my Jeep are shot. You okay?”
“Uh huh.” She rubbed her face with her fists and looked around. “Where are we?”
“About fifty miles from Dartmouth. We’ll be home soon.” Dominik shifted to one side and helped her climb over the front seats. “I stopped for a coffee. Would you like something?”
“Sure, a mochaccino would be . . .” Exactly what she had every time she went out with Max. God, she missed him. Silly, really, she’d been with him just that morning. She made her lips curve up. “Would be great. And maybe a cookie?”
Dominik chuckled. “A cookie? What kind of cookie?”
“White chocolate and macadamia nut.”
“Excellent choice.” He rolled down his window and leaned out to the place their order at the drive-through speaker. “Two mochaccinos and four macadamia nut cookies.”
