“I like the way it feels.” Her hands found home, and Cameron’s head fell back and he let out a long, deep moan.

“Jesus, you are going to kill me, you know that?”

“What? I’m just saying, it feels so good. Like a steel rod covered by something softer than I could have imagined. It is such a paradox, and it makes me want to know more about how it works…” That little girl voice came out, and Cameron knew he had to get inside before he embarrassed himself.

“I’m going to teach you everything you want to know, but it’s not all going to be today babe. Now, I’m about as primed as I can be without going off. Open.”

Her eyes glowed with her own greed as he nudged her lips. Her tongue took first dibs on winding like a snake charmer over the ridge of his head, then licking like an ice cream cone until he was shiny and slick.

“Fuck yes — “

She drew him into those lips. Straight away, her tongue worked like a magician on the underside, following the indent that ran from base to head and sucking until her cheeks hollowed.

The overwhelming sensations sent Cameron leaning one flat hand onto the wall above the head board before he collapsed.

He couldn’t stop his hips from meeting her rhythm. He gave her a few inches at a time, but she wanted more. Her hands wrapped at the root, pumping his skin up and down and driving him deeper until he felt her tonsils and heard her make little gag sounds.

Cameron knew the end was near; there was no fucking way he was going to last like this. She worked him like she knew his cock from some unwritten magical training manual, sucking the head and gripping onto the thick girth from the bottom.

She was starting her own moaning and purring sounds that mixed with the soft wet noises of her mouth. When she looked up at Cameron with wide eyes, her pink lips stretched around his thick head, he was gone.

His cock bulged inside her mouth, tapped at the back of her throat, careful not to give her too much until she was trained.

“God yeah, fuck yes, baby, just like that, suck Daddy’s cock — “

He let that ‘Daddy’ thing slip again, but she didn’t stop, in fact, she sucked him deeper, past the pressure of her tonsils and an inch or more into her throat.

Cameron was finished.

The first ignition went off like the damn space shuttle launching, raining her throat with his thick white cum. He pulled back, that first fire was for her to swallow, but he wanted the rest on her tongue.

“Open baby, open and hold it…”

Her eyes were locked onto his as Cameron filled her mouth with four more hot streams of seed until it dripped off her bottom lip and danced in iridescent droplets on the perfection of her tits.

Every muscle in his pumped body locked down and stood out under his skin like soldiers at the ready.

He threw his head back, breaking her gaze and growled into the white ceiling as the last of his release dripped onto her tongue.

There was nothing before or after that existed. Time was bending around this moment, and Cameron felt like he was unattached to this world, the woman of his dreams looking up at him, her mouth filled with his cum, waiting for his next command.

“Swallow baby, such a good girl.”

He dropped his hand from the wall and stroked her hair as her lips closed, and she took his essence inside her.

She was still cooing when she took a gasping breath, her cheeks a deep rose, and she wiped her chin unashamed as a smile curved those warm, full lips.

“Was that good?” Her eyes had a twinkle lost for far too long.

Yep, she’s going to be what kills me. May not be today or tomorrow, but someday —

“Jesus.” He pulled her up, so her body was against his, slowly, careful to not hurt her. The warmth and softness was like a blanket he had waited so long to cover him. “Yeah, that was good.”

I’ve either made the biggest mistake of my life, or I’ve just found something that I didn’t know really existed.

She had seen his body before. Well, not exactly like this, but from the waist up and thighs down wearing some baggy gym shorts that apparently did an unbelievable job of hiding exactly what lay caged down below.

Still, an entire state full of monarch butterflies were migrating to Mexico inside her belly. Her body vibrated from the inside out as he pulled his stark white t-shirt down over his back and her eyes watched the wonder of each bulging muscle as they moved in perfect harmony with one another.

He was what dreams and nightmares were made from, only Victoria knew him well enough that he was one of the only people in her life with whom she felt no fear. At least until today. Now, the universe had shifted, and that unspoken electric current that ran between turned raw and exposed.

She knew if she went here it would be just exactly this. He was magnificent, and now, she only wondered when it would end. Because it had to, right?

“What are you doing?”

Cameron was standing there, hands down low in his pockets looking at her as she pulled the sheet around her.

“What does it look like I’m doing? I’m fucking staring at you.”

He didn’t move and didn’t stop looking at her. Victoria wrapped the white cotton sheet tighter, clutching it over her chest and feeling her heart go to the races again as his eyes bored into her.

“Come on, babe. If I look at you any longer I’m going to be sunk back inside you for the next 24 hours. That would probably not be good for you, and we have to get back to Memorial to see Ash. So, get some clothes on before I can’t think straight. I need to go see what’s going on. Hopefully, Larry is either passed out, or someone came to drive him home.”

Victoria wanted him to turn around so she could unwrap herself and get dressed without his eyes on her, but she could see he had no intention of moving or turning away.

She took a deep breath and exhaled it in a long stream.

Here goes nothing. God, please, don’t let him see the way I have to wiggle and suck it in to button the top of my pants. Make him sneeze or something okay?

No such luck, he watched her like a tower guard as she slipped into each of her four pieces of clothing which he had already picked up off the floor, shook out and folded onto the bed next to her. Well, actually, he had washed her panties for her and threw them in the dryer while he gave her a bath.

His eyes unmercifully watched every second, so Victoria felt herself resign to his inspection. She dressed, slipped her shoes back on and Cameron closed the space between them, gathering her lips into his and igniting that flock of butterflies again down below.

“You are fucking beautiful. I’ve been waiting for you forever, Vic. You know that don’t you? Have I told you that enough so you’ve heard me?”

There was a deep sorrow in his eyes; and it suddenly made her see the boy behind the beast.

“Yeah. I know. I just never imagined it could be real, you know?” He gave her the devil’s stare thinking she was insulting herself again. “NO — not just because of that, just everything. You, me, moms, dads, the gym, you going to jail, all of it. It’s so much, and I never thought—” She wasn’t exactly sure how to finish.

“That’s all just the hurricane around us, Vic. Come on, I’m getting fucking nervous about what’s going on at the hospital.”

He wrapped his arm over her shoulders, and Victoria shuddered feeling the weight. It felt like his arm was carved from granite.

“We aren’t telling anyone, though. I’m not ready Cam, okay? Promise me? We have to act like nothing is different. I can’t handle that right now, please, you promise?” Her voice raised four octaves, and the desperation resounded like that little girl wounded by too many and for too long.

“Fine, for you, for now. But, this shit isn’t staying under cover long. Fuck them, Vic. Fuck who knows. Why do you give a shit about — “

She felt her head fall, and Cameron stopped what was about to be another lecture.

“Hey, I’m sorry. For now. But, we’re going to talk about this again, soon because there is no fucking way I cannot slip up and have my hands on you now I’ve been given the keys to the kingdom.”

He pulled her shoulders around as they walked down the steps and out the front door.

She didn’t want to imagine how Roger or Larry would react. Then, there was Asher.

God, Asher. He can never know about Asher. It would kill him.

“Didn’t you say you were supposed to fight tonight at Tyson’s?” Victoria lowered down into the seat of the Camaro as Cameron held the door.

He worked his mammoth form into the driver’s seat and sparked the engine to life.

“Yeah, later, like 10 o’clock. But, I gotta see what’s up with Ash first. I’m not going unless he’s clear. I don’t want him going home with Larry unless the doctor’s say he is 100%.”

“I can go with him. I can hang around. We’ll see what they say.”

“Maybe he can just stay at your place? I gotta figure out what the fuck went on with that fucking fight anyway. I need some fucking answers about why they let him fight that guy.”

Victoria felt her stomach turn over on itself. There was no way she could have Asher come stay with her. Too many mixed messages.

“Well, let‘s see, okay? I’m sure Asher would rather be in his own bed, and I don’t mind hanging out over there. Larry will probably fall over early, and I’ll just bring my laptop and work or watch TV until you get back. It’s not like I’ve never stayed there before, right?
Brother
.”

Her heart was thumping, and she saw his eye brow raise when she said that last word.

“Uh huh. Watch it, that’s exactly the bullshit that’s wasted a lot of fucking time for us.”

He reached over and wrapped his fingers into each of hers. Her other hand traced the snaking veins that stood out on top of his hand.

Even his hands were sexy. There wasn’t a part of him that wasn’t scared or crooked or marked with ink, but it all combined into an exotic cocktail of dangerous power and Victoria felt herself floating and falling at the same time.

“Cam?”

“Yeah, babe?”

“I feel like something bad is coming. Like what we just did lit some fuse somewhere and the other shoe is going to drop.”

He squeezed her hand until it hurt, then released and slammed on the breaks, idling the car in the middle of the side street.

“Don’t. Have I not always taken care of you like a fucking soldier? Stop it. I fucking mean it. What we just did — that was the best thing that has ever,
ever
happened in my entire shitty life. Bar none. And, if you know me at all, you know there is nothing and no one that will ever,
ever
come around and fuck this up. I’ve got us, babe. You just be you, and I’ll take care of the rest. Don’t ever lie to me, or deceive me, and everything else is golden. Got it?”

She had seen that look is his eyes before.

A dance of demons and angels spun in his blue eyes and teetered him on the edge of his world and the civilized world.

Victoria knew his struggle. Watched him try to figure out where he fit in a world where he didn’t belong.

She squeezed his hand back.

“Drive Dad.”

Her playful mocking tone broke his stare and he eased the Camaro back down Lemont Street toward Memorial Hospital and whatever was waiting for them there.

“Well, look who’s back. You just love showing back up — big hero swoopin’ in to save the day.”

At least Larry’s words were somewhat clearer than when they had left but his eyes were glassy red slits, and his hand shook on the arm of the turquoise vinyl chair.

“Hey Larry.” Victoria always managed to settle him a few notches and today she sweetened the deal and gave him a little side hug as his blurry red eyes locked onto Cameron.

“Hey bro.” Cameron glanced at Asher.

Cameron gave Larry a millisecond of squinted eye before he leaned over to give Asher a playful slap on his cheek.

“What the hell, I’m not beat up enough for you?” Asher’s playful tone veiled his quiet humiliation.

“Shut up. That fight was bullshit, bro. You should have never been in there. That guy out weighed you by a brick.”

Cameron intended to leave it for another time, but holding back was never his style. He turned to rest his eyes on the slack, indignant slump of a man that had donated his sperm to their biological cause.

Larry’s narrow eyes turned to a flat, dead stare and the small space inside the faded hospital blue curtain suddenly felt like it was filled with angry bees. Asher shifted under the blanket, and Larry folded his hands over his belly, daring Cameron to move closer.

“Hey, let’s not—” Victoria danced between them and gave Cameron’s arms a light touch, her fingertips warming the spot on his arm and he could see the pleading look in her eyes.

Cameron’s tongue licked up under his teeth and upper lip, making a sharp sucking sound as Larry stared at him with his dead eyes.

“Hey, Larry, come on. You’ve been here for hours. Let’s go to the cafeteria and let Cameron stand watch for a bit. Come on, Dad.”

Victoria moved her hand to pull up on Larry. Her voice turned on the exact amount of candy sweet she knew worked on him.

Cameron turned his eyes looking at the quiet, black monitors around Asher’s bed.

“They turned everything off.”

“Yeah. I’m fine. The nurse said I can go home as soon as I get my discharge papers. Just rang my bell a little. Nothing permanent.”

Asher’s eyes twinkled, and his voice lifted with a hint of childlike playfulness that Cameron had never possessed, not even as a child. They were brothers only in blood. No one would mistake them for relations with Asher’s light waves that curled around his ears and down his neck, his warm tan and his body tall, but lean.

“Hey, we’re going to get a bite. Be back in a bit.”

Victoria gave Cameron the stink eye as she pulled Larry out of the curtain and down the hall.

“Sorry man. I tried—” Asher started.

“Fuck that shit. That was bullshit and you know it. Why’d you even take that fight? Who set it up? Dad or Roger? What the fuck Ash?”

Cameron could see Asher struggle. He didn’t have the same ability for pure indifference toward their father as Cameron did.

“Dad. He thought I could take him, or at least thought I would learn something. We’ve been working with guys out weighing me, working on leverage and some other stuff that had me taking down some bigger dudes, man. I thought I could do it. But, Jesus, that guy was a fucking monster, Cam. I hit him, and it was like concrete. It didn't even fucking register on his radar. Two more kicks and I knew I was done, nothing had any effect. Dude
let
me hit him and still, I got nothing. Then he pounded me; I had no chance.”

“Yeah, but the motherfucker kept pounding you and they should have stopped the fucking fight. Larry’s a fuck, but he knows fighting and this shit stinks. Even with a fifth of Jack in him he would never set that up. He’s a fucked up Dad, but he knows how to coach and there was nothing about that fight that made any fucking sense. They’re heads are so far up their asses we need a damn mining team to ferret them back out.”

Asher took a deep breath, let it out slowly before meeting Cameron’s eyes.

“I don’t know, bro. Maybe they wanted to see if I had the killer in me like you. Trying to get it outta me or something.”

“Fuck that Ash. You don’t want to be like me. You’re a smart fighter; you’ve got the brains, the discipline. You can out think your opponents. Don’t try to be like me — trust me.”

“Maybe.” Asher looked up at the blue-white fluorescent lights then down to the floor as he raised his arms and folded his hands behind his head. “But you can drop
anyone
and we both know size doesn’t matter. You’ve got something I’ll never have, bro. It’s something you can’t coach or teach or buy.”

“Yeah. Well, it also got me into some places I didn’t want to be. Almost got me 40 years to life.” Cameron took a deep breath; he felt the empty space around him where she should be. “So, you feel okay then? You want me to hang out at home with you tonight?”

“No. You said you’re fighting tonight. Don't miss your fight, man. I’m fine. If I need anything, I’ll call Vic.” He lingered on her name for a second longer than sounded normal with a sly grin and Cameron’s eyes searched his face for whatever was underneath the pause.

Asher twisted his lips to the side and avoided Cameron’s gaze.

“What?” Asher gave Cameron his best avoidance chuckle lifting his hands from the back of his head toward the ceiling.

“Don’t. I may have been gone a few months, but I still fucking know you, bro. What’s that little princess laugh about?”

Cameron felt the skin on his back crawl. His brother’s eyes had a strange flicker and the air in the room quickly turned sour.

“Nothing. Man, it’s nothing.” Asher’s voice lowered two octaves as Cameron notched his neck to one side and his almost three foot shoulder span hitched back and pulled his chest up and tight.

“Dude, you better fucking come clean. You have something to say, just say it.”

Whatever kind of game this was, Cameron quickly assembled the invisible pieces and came up with a picture that had him seeing red flame and feeling like he needed to crush something.

“What are you getting all bowed up about? It’s nothing—”Asher lowered his eyes for a quick second.

Cameron shifted his weight, the muscles in his pectorals beginning to jump under his t-shirt.

“— dude, I know it’s going to freak you out, but — just before you got back, I sort of—”

Cameron felt like his brain was on a tilt-o-whirl at some cheap, trashy carnival.

“I’m gonna tell her man. It’s Vic — I know she’s like our sort-a, kind-of sister, but she’s really
NOT
, right? I mean, it doesn’t freak you out, does it?”

There were no words, Cameron stood like a citadel, armed gun man in the tower ready to pick off any other sign of life in the room.

Dark fingers wrenched around Cameron’s throat as Asher’s lips kept moving, but no sound reached his eardrums.

“ — I’m not saying I’m in love with her, but Jesus, man, you understand right? I just wanna give it a shot. I know she’s older, but that shouldn’t matter, right? I’m gonna tell her, I sort of tried to a few weeks ago, but she just was on the whole no-way-we’re-family thing. She thought it was a joke. Maybe you can tell her it’s okay. She’s always listened to you, just tell her the whole step-brother thing isn’t — “

“What the fuck??” Cameron’s head shook back and forth, trying to make sure he wasn’t stuck inside a nightmare.

“What?” Asher lowered his hands from the back of his head.

“What the fuck did you just tell me?” Cameron felt his neck turn to a tree trunk, and he took a step back, he knew he shouldn’t be this close to him right now.

“Dude, chill — I thought you would be okay. I’m just — “

There is no possible fucking way this is happening right now.

“What did you do? Did you kiss her — what!?!? Did you do anything with her?” Cameron’s words came out long and slow as every beat of his heart lurched in his chest like a hammer hitting his chest wall.

“Cam, Jesus, what are you so —
No
, I didn’t, we didn’t. NO. Dude, chill. I’m just saying, I wanna give it a shot, not that anything happened yet. Fuck man, I thought you would understand, you would be okay.”

“Well, I’m very fucking far from okay — “

Her fucking blood was on my cock less than an hour ago, now this? Is this world fucked or what?

He needed to get out of there. Asher’s eyes darted back and forth and he started to tense and fidget under the hospital blanket.

Cameron spun on his heel, just as the metallic rolling sound of the hospital curtain hit his ears.

Victoria came through, Larry on her heels. Her face looked flushed, not just the warm pink she usually had. Her cheeks were bright with red heat and Cameron could feel his cock give him a quick salute as she moved next to him.

“He wouldn’t eat anything.” Victoria walked in distracted. Her hands were down inside her messenger bag fiddling around with a hint of tension in her voice.

“What’s wrong?” Cameron asked as he looked down to see her hands wrap around her waist.

Larry plopped back down in the sad vinyl chair, let out a breath that sounded like a steam engine.

“Nothing. We’re fine.” Victoria’s voice had that fake sing-song quality she got when she was playing peacemaker.

“What the fuck? What’s going on?” It was coming at him from all sides, and Cameron was an incendiary ready for the trip wire to be touched.

“Nothing—” Victoria started, but Larry’s Marlboro Red cough cut her off.

“I was just telling your sister how much I miss her mom,” Larry choked out, his red eyes poking the bear.

Jesus, are you fucking kidding me right now old man? Good thing we are already at the hospital, because you are gonna need a few doctors if you go down this road.

“We were just talking about doctors and hospitals and stuff. How hard it was for your mom to be so sick for so long—” Victoria was trying to settle the two beasts that were inches from ripping out the other’s jugular.

“Yeah?
Dad
, it was so hard on you wasn’t it? All that time you could have been at the bar or the track — instead you had to take care of mom. You were quite the caretaker.” Cameron was in no mood for subtlety.

Bring it old man. You want to spar? I’m right the fuck here. And I’m in a fucking mood.

“Guys—” Asher tried to throw a bucket of cold water on the two dogs, but it was too late.

Too many years, too many secrets, and Cameron’s fuse was already lit, and Larry had walked in at the wrong fucking time.

“What happened Dad? Remember, you were taking mom to the hospital that morning, right?” Cameron didn’t try to hide his sarcasm. “Oh, wait, no. You were out all fucking night and forgot. She lay there waiting for you, calling your name until she choked on her own blood and fought to take a damn breath with two little kids at home alone with her. Then what? What happened Dad? Decided you were done playing nurse? So, you just took care of things didn’t you?”

“You don’t know shit, boy. What the fuck do you know?” Larry’s voice hitched and hissed.

“I fucking know — I fucking know that if you were there when you were supposed to be —” Cameron took a step forward. “— pillows go behind someone’s head dad, not on their face.”

“Fuck you, you don’t know shit.” Larry spat.

“I know what I saw. I was a kid, but I fucking know what I saw.”

“What do you fucking know? You don’t know how she was suffering! How much pain she was in. How she would beg for me to kill her when she couldn’t take it anymore. Fuck you — she fucking loved you, and you broke her heart.” Spit flew from Larry’s lips as he lurched to lean forward and challenge Cameron.

“Hey, what the hell — stop it! Don’t fucking do this — what the hell are you talking about??” Asher looked at the two men, knowing he was helpless to stop the derailed train that was heading for disaster.

I do know
. I’ll always know, you can pretend all you want in front of them.” Cameron wanted to bash his bloated face in.

“Well, you sure got your revenge didn’t you? I don’t know what you think you saw, but you sure made sure you got back at me in spades.”

“What the fuck
— stop
!” Asher pleaded.

“Stop, Cam, don’t, let’s go —” “Victoria’s fingers were around his wrist, the warmth running up his arm like a heard of wild horses.

Cameron could feel his hands twitching, he knew he had about four seconds before Larry was on the floor, and he would be back in cuffs.

“You’re dead to me. You died that day you took everything I ever wanted. You killed her, couldn’t stand it could you? To see me with her, happy. Piece of shit like you, you’ll never be anything. That was no accident. You’re a waste—” Larry shuffled to the edge of the chair, trying to stand.

“Cam,
now
, we’re leaving.” Victoria’s fingers were a vice, but Cameron was a statue, daring Larry to add one more word.

“Jesus, Dad — Cam, wait!” — Asher flung his legs out from under the blanket.
