I sit back in my chair and sigh.
“No, Dad, I didn’t. The Baxter’s are good people and the situation…”

“Was a cluster fuck!” Michael chimes in before I could finish. “I apologize for my language, but it was getting messy when I showed up.” My mom sits back in her chair.

“Well thank God you did, Michael! Were you there alone Addy?” I shake my head.

“No, Mom, Jess was there and he just showed up it wasn’t like he was invited. As soon as he did Jess called Michael and then we had the situation under control.”

My dad looks right at Michael. “Thank You, Michael, you have no idea what that means to us to have you by her side through all this.”

“I would have it no other way Arwin.” Michael looks down at me and gives me his soft smile.

My Mom looks at the two of us. “Is there something else you want to share?” I squeeze Michael’s hand.

“Yes, I am selling the house and moving in with Michael.” My mom smiles brightly.

“Oh. My. Gosh. That’s wonderful dear!”

My Dad chimes in as well.
“That is great news Addybell! Now I won’t have to worry about you at night. It’s a great way to start your new life, sweetie.” He winks at Michael and I feel very loved in that moment.

“So you have something else to tell me?” I look at both of them and they shake their head yes at each other.

My Dad starts. “Yes, well as we were saying you can have the money that’s not an issue. I can give you a check now or cash tomorrow if you can wait.”

“I will take a check and then put it in my account. That way if I need cash I can get access to it.”

“Very good, now I know you have an idea of the investments that I have made for you over the years. The problem is I haven’t told you everything.” I look at my Dad with confusion.

“You said it had built up to about five hundred thousand and that I can cash out what I need. Is that not the truth?”

“Partially the truth.” He looks over at Michael.

“Whatever you have to say you can say in front of Michael, he’s my life now and I have no secrets from him.” My Dad shakes his head yes.

“Very well then, do you remember great Aunt Amelia?”

“Yes she was sick when I was like eight or nine, she had what she called
‘smokers disease’.” My Dad smiled.

“She called it that, yes. But it was Emphysema, she was sick and was married only once at a very young age. He left her later on in the marriage when she couldn’t have children. She basically adopted Jon and
I because my mom, your grandma, was the only relative she had.”

“Dad
, this story has a point right?” He laughs loudly.

“Yes
, sweetie, hold on I’m getting there. Anyways, when she died she left everything to grandma. Needless to say it was a lot, and I don’t just mean the crap in her house.”

“Ok
ay, so let me get this straight. She was old, died, had a bunch of old crap in her house and was loaded?”

“Yep, and loaded is a small word. She was worth millions.” Michael and I look at my Dad and then my Mom who is smiling and shaking her
head yes.

“I don’t understand how she was worth millions and what happened to all that money?”

“She invested in oil all her life, and the money was split between Jon and I when grandma died. Jon has his money and I have ours. I have been partly retired for about ten years now and will fully retire this fall. I want to travel with my bride.” Looking over at my Mom she takes his hands and smiles. “And with your brother’s wedding coming up we have a lot of things planned and now is the time to do it. So when I say you don’t have to worry about money, I mean it. That fifty thousand Curt demands is a drop in the bucket. I will cut you a check for the total of what that college account is for. It’s your money to do with what you want.”

My Mom chimes in.
“Are you ready for dessert?” I burst out laughing

“Sure
, Mom, I can definitely eat pie now knowing I am related to millionaires.” I look over at my Dad who is grinning from ear to ear.

“Yes
, my bride, dessert sounds wonderful.” He playfully smacks my Mom’s behind as she walks by.

“Dad! What
the? I am sitting right here. Don’t fondle her in front of me.” Michael starts chuckling and my Dad spouts off.

“That was nothing, just a little play slap. The good stuff is for tonight!” Michael is laughing so hard tears are forming in his eyes.

“OH. MY. GOD. Stop now! My ears are bleeding.” I look over at my Dad and he is belly laughing with Michael and my Mom is giggling along. This feels right as a smile forms on my lips and I giggle along with them.

Chapter 30

I kiss my Mom and Dad goodbye as Michael shakes Dad’s hand and hugs my mom. Dad cut me a check even though I won’t look
at it until I get in the car. As we pull away from the house, I am very curious about the check. As if reading my mind Michael chimes in.

“I know you want to look at it beautiful, so just do.” I take a deep breath and open the envelope. My eyes can’t stop staring at the amount.

“This has to be wrong. There is no way this is correct; I didn’t give him that much over the years for it to be this much. I need to call him.” Michael grabs my hand before I can dial.

“How much is it love?”

“Two hundred fifty thousand.” Michael whistles.

“That’s a lot of money for a check. The bank will have to wire that much from the Federal Reserve so it might not be available today.” I look at him like he grew two heads.

“It’s an obscene amount, there is no way that’s right. I can’t cash this, people will think I robbed them or something.” Michael looks over at me with a give me a break look.

“I have a feeling that your parents have a good relationship with the bank and they most likely won’t be surprised at the amount.”

“Fine, let’s go to the bank but if they call the cops you are explaining this.” I hold up the check.

“Sounds good love.” I sigh and place my head back on the headrest.

The bank took about an hour and a phone call to my folks. They didn’t seem surprised at the amount and Michael was right, the Federal Reserve has to transfer the amount in to my account. We got back to the house and Michael was getting ready for work when Jess called.

“Yes
, lova’.”

“Are you at Magic’s?”

“Yes where else would I be?”

“Are you naked?”

“No, we don’t run around naked, dumbass.”

“I don’t see the problem in that. You have one fine piece of ass in front of you, and if I was you
, naked would be the only way in my house.”

“Well he is naked right now, standing in front of me.” I giggle because I am totally lying.

“You better be lying. I am in your driveway right now and will break that door down for a surprise show, I swear!” I burst out laughing. “You lying twat! I knew it, I fell for your pure evilness.”

“Oh fuck!” I am still laughing “That was awesome! I wish I could see your face.”

“Then open the door bitch.” I stop laughing and run over to the door and open it. All I can hear is laughter on the phone.

“You are so not funny! I thought you were here.”

“Oh Jesus!! That was hilarious! I am not there yet but will be in five minutes.”

“You are a twat
, my friend. See you soon.” With that I hang up.

Michael comes back into the living room with his grey pin stripe suit pants on and his dress shirt on
, but not buttoned up.

“Wow
, you look good, going for a photo shoot at the morgue?” I giggle and smile mischievously. Walking over to me and grabbing my hands and pulling them around to my back he starts nibbling my neck.

“What did you say
, sassy?” He continues his descent on my neck to my collar bone and runs his tongue along it. “I can’t hear you beautiful. Did you ask me to kiss your neck?” I smile and my core starts to heat up.

“Ummm, yes that’s what I said.” He chuckles into my neck.

“I thought so.” As fast as he started his lick fest he ended just as fast. Left breathing heavy and turned on I look over at him.

“What are you stopping for?
Hello,
horny woman over here needing a hot piece of British.” With that Michael bursts out laughing.

“You crack me up! I love it when I can make you horny and frustrated.” Smiling at me and zipping up his pants
, I stride over to him. Taking the bottom button of his shirt I slowly button it and seductively say.

“You like teasing me
, don’t you?” I lick his chest and button another button. “You know what a suit does to me.” I button another one and slide my fingers to his zipper and slowly unzip it, I then run my hands to the back of his trousers and grab his ass. At that Michael groans and I can feel him getting hard. I insert my dirty talk dagger into him knowing it will be his undoing. “I know you are hard, Michael, I can feel it on my belly.” I run my hands back to the front and rub him though his boxers. “I bet you want to bend me over right now and fuck me HARD, huh?” I smile and lick my lips. His hazel eyes are blazing now and he is breathing heavy. The doorbell rings and I jump back and laugh and give him a wink. “Jess is here Magic, better go and get sorted or she will want pictures.”

Michael groans and closes his eyes. When he opens them again they are full of mischief. I try to turn and run
, but I get nowhere. He grabs my arms and turns me around and grabs my breasts, then holding me with one hand against him he takes his other one under my skirt and pushes his hand down my panties.

Leaning into the crook of my neck
, he whispers, “You naughty girl, Addy.” He pushes his fingers onto my clit. “You are wet like always for me and YOU will be the one turned on and frustrated when I leave.” He starts rubbing my clit hard and grabbing my breast as he is nibbling my neck. I can feel myself building and the doorbell rings again. With that Michael stops and turns me around to kiss me. “I love you Addy.” And he walks out of the living room and I try to catch my breath and get my skirt out of my panties. I walk over to the door and open it.

“Holy shit
, Addy, could you stop fucking for ten minutes and let me in.” Jess breezes past me.

“What are you talking abo
ut? We were not fucking.” Jess looks at me and rolls her eyes.

“You do realize your skirt is in your panties right.” I laugh nervously

“No it’s not, I just checked.” Jess bursts out laughing.

“I was just guessing about the fucking part, glad I was correct.” Still laughing she wipes the tears out of her eyes.

“Well, we were not fucking, so shutty.” I walk over to the fridge and get two waters out. I see Michael coming around the corner in his grey suit again. Giving a water to Jess, he walks over to me and kisses my forehead. Jess looks at him smiling. Michael looks over at me.

“Did I miss something while I was dressing?” I shake my head no, Jess pipes up.

“I was just telling Addison I was sorry I broke up the fucking marathon.” Michael laughs.

“Well
, you should be, I had to pull one off in the bathroom just before you knocked.” With that the two people in my life I adore with my heart and soul burst out laughing and I just stand there shaking my head. I walk over to the couch and sit down as they finish the laugh fest. Michael walks over to me and sits down.

“I’m sorry
, beautiful, I really didn’t pull one off.” Jess spits out the water that was in her mouth and I burst out laughing as well.

“Good, because
that’s a total waste of energy. I mean look at this rack you can have later.” Smiling and chuckling he kisses me.

“I look forward to that rack tonight
, my dear.”

Jess walks into the living room and sits down in the chair, looking over at us she is smiling.

“I’m glad you have made plans for booty romping later but we need to get down to brass tacks. I am taking Addy over to her house and then we will pack some shit up and bring it over here. I have boxes in my vehicle, but will one trip be enough?” I look over at Jess.

“I don’t know, I need clothes and some of Auty’s stuff.” I look at the ground, Michael takes my hand and squeezes it. “I honestly have no idea
, Jess, maybe we need Skyler’s truck? Do you think he is available?”

“Of course he is available. He has summers off, remember? Perks of being a teacher. I will call him as soon
as we leave and tell him to get his ass over there.” Michael agrees with a nod of his head. I look up at him.

“I want Clarissa to go to Susan’s when her shift is over. Is that ok? I feel better knowing where she is while we are dealing with all this.” Michael kisses my forehead.

“Of course, love, I will call her myself.”

“Ok
ay I will tell Susan so she has a heads up, and give Rissa my new phone number.”

“She already has it. I texted her once we got it.” I squeeze Michael
’s hand back. Getting up off the couch I look at my watch, then back at Michael.
