Chapter Ten

Friday, Wee Hours of the Morning

Serenity sucked Craig to an erection. She licked him from root to tip and swirled her tongue around his mushroom head. Then she practically swallowed him whole, and he arched his back so high that it was just his head and heels on the bed.  When she gave his balls a little tug, he got lightheaded. After about twenty minutes of dedicated licking, sucking, and deep throating, she felt that telltale little tremor that indicated he was close. He put his hand on the back of her head and started controlling her motion. She normally didn’t allow men to do that, but in the heat of the moment, she didn’t mind. He was trying his best to act like he had some manners, but he was dying to bust in the back of her throat. On the next down stroke, he did and held her head there for a sec while he surrendered to a toe-curling orgasm that resulted in a lot of frantic swallowing on her part. He encouraged her with,
“Oh shit! You’re killing me! Oh shit! That’s it! Suck my dick like you want it!”
And she eagerly complied. When he moved his hand, she stayed down on it and kept swallowing!

After that epic blow job, they fell asleep. He woke up recovered and told her to climb on top, which is why at four in the morning she was riding him up, down, and around, circling her hips at a leisurely pace. Ever since they had fallen into the bed hours before, she had been on him or under him.

Now here she was on top again, screwing like it had been weeks since she’d been on the dick when it had been a mere forty minutes ago. He was sitting up and nibbling on her nipples and rubbing her clit very gently. They were too tired to keep going, but for some reason they just couldn’t stop. This slow fuck was going to be the knock-out punch that would put them to sleep for a long time
…finally
. Plus, this was Craig’s very last condom. It had been sheer hubris that had led him to bring five. He was going to have to go back across the lake sometime in the morning.

Taking control, he flipped her over, moved her legs to his shoulders, and started hitting her where she liked it. She immediately dug her fingers into the sheets and started singing, “Yes, yes, yes, oh shit!”

They both were overtaken by the wave of heat. It flushed their chests, necks, and faces. Sweat on their skin left them a sticky, wet mess. Neither of them had finished shaking before they were sleep.

Craig discarded the condom. It joined the others on the floor, in the vicinity of the wastebasket.

She had love bites on her neck and breasts. He had crescent shaped fingernail marks on his shoulders, back, and chest. It was obvious it had been a while for both of them.

Across the Lake

Chris crept through the big guy’s house, using his phone for light. Anthony had texted that as long as he stayed away from windows, the light was too faint to be seen. If Anthony saw light, he would text to let him know.

There wasn’t much to see. It seemed that the big guy kept a pretty up-to-date kitchen. There was a desktop computer and a very organized file cabinet with bills that told Chris the big guy had a name, which was Craig. He also discovered old pics and just as Melvin had suspected, Craig was former army. He also discovered Craig had been an
MP
. It said so right on the arm of the uniform he was wearing in the picture. It annoyed Chris that Melvin had been correct.

He did a quick sweep of the cabin and found no weapons. He looked in all of the obvious hiding places like closets, drawers, and shoe boxes, but found nothing. He did find some cash, but left it. There was no point in making it obvious that someone had been in his place.

He stumbled upon the workout room. It was serious. A heavy bag, speed bag, treadmill, full set of free weights, and even heavy balls were in the home gym. Actually, Chris was kind of envious. This was a nice home gym even though it was small as hell. It smelled like it saw use too, which meant this dude was keeping up his training. Again, Melvin had been on point. The guy was to be avoided. Chris didn’t want to fight some army-trained cop. He had attained his black belt, but he hadn’t really committed to regular training. That might get him by with some street fighters, but it would be of no good use against a former military police officer who was maintaining fitness. This might be one of those situations that called for discretion as the better part of valor.

Calling it quits with his search, he headed back to his side of the lake.

Chris had no idea that his entire visit had been recorded. Craig was many things, but lacking in caution was not one. As a retiree living far away from people, he wasn’t fooled into thinking that distance was the same as protection. He always secured his home. The door may have been unlocked, but the system continuously recorded entries and exits. When he arrived later in the morning, he would know almost immediately that someone had been in his home, and he would have video footage of the perpetrator.

Upon arriving to the cabin an hour later, Chris gave Ant and Melvin the news. “Beetle was right. The guy is former army, and I saw a picture of him in uniform. He was an MP.”

Melvin continued his precise measuring and mixing. “I figured as much. Just stay out of sight. If anyone comes knocking because of the smell, Ant can handle it. Both of us need to stay behind the scenes. If nothing else, he can say he doesn’t know what it is. That he is hoping it is not a dead animal.”

Chris and Anthony left the room.

Anthony asked, “So, what do you think? You’re the muscle.”

Chris was honest. “I think we don’t want to tangle with this guy. He has a home gym that he obviously uses. I didn’t find any weapons, but he was in the army. If he’s hiding weapons, I wasn’t supposed to find them. I’m a black belt, but you and I both know I haven’t been in training in a while. I don’t want to have to kill anybody because they rolled up on us. Subduing him won’t be very easy if it comes to that.”

“He won’t be a problem if we have
her
,” Anthony replied.

Chris raised his eyebrows as if to say,
Oh, you gutter now?
Carefully, he said, “Ant, for some guys, snatching their girl may make them cooperative. It has worked for us a time or two. But this guy ain’t no square in a scary situation. He might be the kind who gets more upset because we touched her. That could make him more of a problem. Let’s not be stupid. We will let Melvin cook. You can answer any knocks on the door and if he becomes a problem, then we will snatch her. We should avoid throwing the first punch here.”

“Man! If we wait on him to roll up on us, we might not have a chance to snatch her! I say as soon as he leaves in the morning, we grab her and use her to keep him subdued,” Anthony reiterated.

Sighing, Chris explained slowly as if to a disabled learner, “I do not want to provoke this dude. You really don’t either. Don’t let our past success confuse us here. We are not dealing with some street guy who owes us money. He is army-trained. He keeps in shape. He is out here by himself. For all we know, he is some PTSD reject from one of the recent wars. I don’t want to deal with that! Just chill. If it gets ugly, it won’t be because we made it that way.”

Anthony was eventually convinced by Chris not to start unnecessary trouble. He agreed to keep the fire burning until dawn and smoke a joint. Chris took up a spot in the window to scan the lake and be prepared in the event of a visitor. Melvin was next door, happily creating his poison.

The night grew weary and rested in the arms of dawn. The sun spread its late fall fingers across the treetops, and the lake waited, rippling in the whispered breeze.

Chapter Eleven

Friday, Post Sunrise

Serenity knew as soon as she moved her legs that she was going to pay dearly for being so energetic last night. She was sore all over. Her arms were sore. Her hips, thighs, and all other body parts were aching on the inside. She could think of many ways to describe the epic screw fest, but gentle wasn’t one of them. That man had worked her body. He had turned her every which way but loose. Chuckling to herself as she slowly walked to the bathroom, she had to admit she’d loved every minute of it and wanted some more. Well, she would want some more just as soon as she’d had a cup of coffee and a good long soak in the Jacuzzi.

She took a quick shower. After she finished her morning ritual and was wrapped in a towel, she made her way back to the bedroom where she met Craig in the short hallway. He stopped her with a hand on her shoulder.

Looking her in the eyes, he asked, “Are you okay? You’re walking funny.”

With a slightly embarrassed smile, Serenity looked away and cleared her throat. “Mmm-hummm...last night was a lot on my body. You’re slightly outside of my usual size range. I feel great, though. I’m just a bit tender. I’m tougher than I look.”

Smiling, Craig used one finger to nudge her eyes back to his and said, “No, Little Bit, you aren’t tough. Every part of you is smooth, sweet, and soft. How about I give you a massage and loosen up those muscles?”

While Serenity was absolutely interested in a massage, she was concerned that she might not be up for a happy ending. Craig said, “Don’t worry, I know you are sore. Just relax and enjoy a good massage to ease some of your discomfort. Then you can have a soak in the Jacuzzi and afterwards, you should be ready for more
play
.”

Nodding, Serenity agreed with a smile. “I would love a massage.”

He squeezed her shoulder and said, “Give me a minute.  I’ll be right back.”

Serenity made her way to the bedroom, and Craig continued toward the bathroom.

A few minutes later, she was on her stomach moaning. He had brought olive oil from the kitchen and started with her arms and shoulders. He massaged the aches out of her body, deeply kneaded the muscles in her back, and her body melted into the sheets. Then, he turned her on her side and massaged her hips. He dug his fingertips in firmly, then continued on to her inner thighs. Serenity would have been embarrassed if she hadn’t felt so good. The sun was pouring light in through the windows. She was on her back and her legs were open in front of a man she had known for about twenty-four hours. It didn’t matter. She felt fine. He was making her feel good in a completely different way. He seemed to understand exactly what her body needed. She fell asleep while he stroked her calves.

Craig

Craig felt pretty pleased with himself. He had
literally
rubbed Serenity to sleep. That was good. He would allow her to rest as much as she needed. After all, he had kept her up pretty late. He needed to go across the lake. He needed more condoms and he wanted to get in a workout. Sex gave him a lot of energy. Especially a night of vigorous sex; it got him totally stoked. He needed to go get rid of some of this energy and then come back and spend the rest of the day with her.

He found a sheet of paper and a pen. He quickly scribbled a note and left it in her plain view.

Little Bit,

I hope you enjoyed your nap. Spend some time in the Jacuzzi. I‘m going across the lake to get in a workout, replenish our condom supply, and get some more wine. I’ll see you shortly. When I get back, I’m going to eat you up. So get lots of rest.

Craig

He let himself out and made his way back to his side of the lake. As he drove around the expansive body of water, he took note of the new arrival sitting at a fire that had died down. The guy looked melancholy as he smoked a joint. Craig seemed to smell something sour, but he chalked it up to being a passing skunk. His head was too filled with memories of a tiny, sweet woman who had absolutely been up for a night of long strokes. She had obviously been out of practice, but not at all lacking in willingness. She had managed his weight and size with no difficulty, outside of her initial surprise. In fact, she had been so eager that he had forgotten how small she was, and had manhandled her like she was used to it. He felt kind of bad about it when he saw her walking so slowly this morning.

The massage had given him an excuse to run his hands all over her body once again. He’d enjoyed it as much as her sighs and moans had confirmed she had.

Parking, he was surprised he had spent the entire drive around the lake reliving their night and early sunset. Removing his keys from his pocket, he made his way inside the cabin. He put one foot on the porch and immediately knew something was wrong. His weighted welcome mat had been moved. A small animal would not have been able to shift it. That was why it was weighted. It was his first small security precaution. Slowing down, he looked around. Across the lake, he saw that the lonely man had gone inside. He still smelled something rotten. Now, he was thinking about that smell. It wasn’t precisely like a skunk or anything else natural.

He opened the door and looked around his home. All seemed well and undisturbed. Moving swiftly toward his computer, he tapped a few keys and pulled up his surveillance footage. He watched as a large man entered and searched his home. The search was swift but thorough. Quickly, he exited the program and changed into his workout gear. His thoughts were intense as he ran five miles. If he had been paying attention to the monitor on the device, he would’ve noticed that he’d beaten his fastest recorded time. He knew his intruder hadn’t been the fellow he saw sitting in front of a dying fire earlier that morning. That guy had been much too lean. Even from a distance, he couldn’t have been the one from the video.

As he worked out on the heavy bag, he contemplated what the man had been looking for because he hadn’t stolen anything. But he had seemed very interested in an old picture from his military days. Craig wondered if the guy was a vet on hard times. Even so, he hadn’t done more than look at the picture for a couple of minutes and then kept it moving. That was the only place the guy had paused during the search. It seemed more like a fact-finding search.  But what facts had he been searching for and why? If the intruder hadn’t wanted money, what exactly had he been looking for?

In mid swing, Craig paused, pulled off his gloves, and made his way to the kitchen. Using his chin bar in the door way, he swung up on one arm and used the other to move a ceiling panel away. He pulled a duffel bag down and knew just by its weight that everything was still in there. He opened it anyway.

No money, valuables, or weapons were missing. What had the guy been looking for? Shaking his head, he removed a couple of smoke bombs and a small pistol from the bag. ‘Stay ready and you won’t have to get ready’ was his motto. He threw the items into a little overnight bag. Serenity would not be alone, but he wanted to be armed just in case.

Craig went back and finished his workout. Searching his house had been a poor choice on the guy’s part. He had poked the bear, and that peculiar scent he’d smelled earlier was familiar. At some point, it was going to come to the front of his mind.
